A faceplate of a billiard table comprises a piece of entire substrate on which a block of entire slate is adhered or at least 2 blocks of flat slates may be put together. One or many blocks of slates are assembled on the piece of full light substrate, which is instead of the design with a single marble, in order to reduce the thickness of slate and effectively lower the cost of slate and make easy and convenient the entire faceplate for achievement of easy assembly. On the other hand, with the edge board, the exterior of substrate is properly wrapped in design so that the form of faceplate is consistent, which effectively avoids the exposed substrate from layering and then effectively exalts the texture of outline and presently heightens the grade of a product.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

1. Field of the Invention

This invention relates to an art regarding a billiard table and particularly a faceplate of a billiard table.

2. Description of Related Art

Playing billiards is a popular exercise being suitable for people who are 5 years old through 95 years old, an exercise well-nigh popular with the old and the young. Further, it is an activity for a social intercourse in an upper-class society, and a billiard table is very widespread in a large-scale company or a private house. Cue sports may be divided into 3 major categories, Pool from USA, Snooker from England, and Carom from France and Spain that are representative. The billiard tables are slightly different in size; for example, a fancy billiard table ranges from 6 inches to 12 inches in maximum, secondly Carom ranges from 5 inches to 10 inches, and Snooker ranges from 4.5 inches to 9 inches in minimum. An existing billiard table is generally structured with a slate comprising marble, shale, or cultural stone, which is single and certainly thick. Because the cost of slate is higher, the entire billiard table is very expensive; especially, the slate is pretty much heavy, and regarding the billiard table in each size, if assembling the entire slate, a user gets trouble.

Consequently, because of the technical defects of described above, the applicant keeps on carving unflaggingly through wholehearted experience and research to develop the present invention, which can effectively improve the defects described above.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

In this invention, in order to solve the above-mentioned defects in the existing art, an easy and convenient faceplate of a billiard table that is low in cost and easy in assembly is mainly provided.

It is the other object in this invention to provide the faceplate of billiard table that is designed with an exterior edge wrapping for a fully consistent form and an effectively advanced texture of outline.

In order to achieve the objects, the following approach of technology is applied.

The faceplate of billiard table comprises a piece of entire substrate on which a block of entire slate is adhered or at least of blocks of flat slates may be put together.

The substrate is a woody plywood, MDF, or aluminum-plastic plate. The area of substrate is slightly smaller than that of entire slate or that of pieces of stones put together. Along a side of the substrate and below the slate, an edge board is adhered that is level with a side of the slate, in which the material of edge board is the same as that of slate.

The substrate and the slate are thick at 4˜25 mm.

A tooth nail is fast fixed between the substrate and the slate, in which a thru hole is formed on the slate for accommodation. One end of the quick tooth nail is fixed passing through the accommodation thru hole and the substrate.

As an advantage of this invention, one or many blocks of slates are assembled on the piece of full light substrate, which is instead of the design with a single marble, in order to reduce the thickness of slate and effectively lower the cost of slate and make easy and convenient the entire faceplate for achievement of easy assembly. Further, multiple blocks of slates may be assembled one by one for achievement of easy assembly. On the other hand, with the edge board, the exterior of substrate is properly wrapped in design so that the form of faceplate is consistent, which effectively avoid the exposed substrate from layering and then effectively exalts the texture of outline and presently heightens the grade of a product.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS

Now, the present invention will be described more specifically with reference to the following embodiments. It is to be noted that the following descriptions of preferred embodiments of this invention are presented herein for purpose of illustration and description only; it is not intended to be exhaustive or to be limited to the precise form disclosed.

In the description mentioned above, only the detailed description and drawings of the embodiments of this invention are provided without limit to this invention and the characteristics of this invention.

Refer to FIGS. 1 through 5 illustrating one embodiment of this invention. A faceplate of a billiard table comprises a piece of entire substrate 1 and 3 blocks of slates 2. Certainly, in the design of billiard table, billiard holes 3 are formed after the substrate 1 and slate 2 of the faceplate are assembled. The substrate 1 may be optionally the woody plywood (PW, also named veneer) or the MDF (a plate thermally pressed after fiber separation) or the aluminum-plastic plate. The thickness H1 of substrate 1 may be in the range of 4˜25 mm, so the substrate 1 is easy and convenient.

The 3 slates 2 may be flatly put together and may be one by one paved on the upper surface of substrate 1. The thickness H2 of slate 2 may be in the range of 4˜25 mm.

Each of the slates 2 is adhered onto the substrate 1 by joints. The area of substrate 1 is slightly smaller than that of each of the slates 2 put together. Along a side of the substrate 1 and below the slate 2, an edge board 4 is adhered that is level with a side of the slate 2, in which the material of edge board 4 is the same as that of slate 2. Thus, with the edge board 4, the exterior of substrate 1 is properly wrapped so that the form of faceplate is consistent, which effectively avoids the exposed substrate 1 from layering and then effectively exalts the texture of outline and presently heightens the grade of a product.

Multiple fast tooth nails 5 are fixed between the substrate 1 and the slate 2 for fixing and making the substrate 1 firmly work with the slate 2. Accommodation thru holes 21 are formed at many sites of each of the slates 2 for accommodation. One end of the quick tooth nail 5 is fixed passing through the accommodation thru hole 21 and the substrate 1.

Thus, at the time of assembly, a user may prepare a piece of entire substrate 1 and pave the slates 2 flatly one by one on the substrate 1. Thus, in comparison of a single hulking marble provided for assembly, it may reduce the thickness of slate and effectively lower the cost of slate and make easy and convenient the entire faceplate for achievement of easy assembly. Further, multiple blocks of slates may be assembled one by one for achievement of easy assembly.

Refer to FIGS. 6 and 7 illustrating the other embodiment of this invention. The faceplate of billiard table comprises a piece of entire substrate 1 and a block of slate 2. The entire slate 2 is adhered onto the upper surface of entire substrate 1. The area of substrate 1 is slightly smaller than that of slate 2. Along a side of the substrate 1 and below the slate 2, the edge board 4 is adhered that is level with the side of slate 2, in which the material of edge board 4 is the same as that of slate 2. What is in the embodiment is different from what is in the above-mentioned embodiment in that the block of entire slate is used instead of 3 blocks of slates and adhered onto the entire substrate, which likewise achieves the object of the above-mentioned embodiment achieve. The rests of thickness of substrate 1 and slate 2 and structure of quick tooth nail 5 are equal to each other, thereby unnecessary details being not given here.

It is emphasized in this invention that one or many blocks of slates are assembled on the piece of full light substrate to reduce the thickness of slate and effectively lower the cost of slate and make easy and convenient the entire faceplate for achievement of easy assembly. With the edge board, the exterior of substrate is properly wrapped in design so that the form of faceplate is consistent, which effectively avoids the exposed substrate from layering and then effectively exalts the texture of outline and presently heightens the grade of a product.

In the description mentioned above, merely the preferred embodiment of the faceplate of billiard table according to this invention is provided without limit to this invention and the characteristics of this invention; for example, 2 or 3 blocks of slates may be used in the embodiments mentioned above.

While the invention has been described in terms of what is presently considered to be the most practical and preferred embodiments, it is to be understood that the invention needs not be limited to the disclosed embodiment. On the contrary, it is intended to cover various modifications and similar arrangements included within the spirit and scope of the appended claims which are to be accorded with the broadest interpretation so as to encompass all such modifications and similar structures.

Claims

1. A faceplate of a billiard table, comprising a piece of entire substrate onto which a block of entire slate is adhered.

2. The faceplate of billiard board according to claim 1, wherein the substrate is a woody plywood, a MDF, or an aluminum-plastic plate.

3. The faceplate of billiard board according to claim 1, wherein the area of substrate is slightly smaller than that of slate, and along a side of the substrate and below the slate, an edge board is adhered that is level with a side of the slate, in which the material of edge board is the same as that of slat.

4. The faceplate of billiard board according to claim 1, wherein the substrate and the slate are thick at 4˜25 mm.

5. The faceplate of billiard board according to claim 1, wherein a quick tooth nail is fixed between the substrate and the slate, in which a thru hole is formed on the slate for accommodation and one end of the quick tooth nail is fixed passing through the accommodation thru hole and the substrate.

6. A faceplate of a billiard table, comprising a piece of entire substrate onto which at least 2 blocks of entire slates that may flatly put together are adhered.

7. The faceplate of billiard board according to claim 6, wherein the substrate is a woody plywood, a MDF, or an aluminum-plastic plate.

8. The faceplate of billiard board according to claim 6, wherein the area of substrate is slightly smaller than that of each of the slates put together, and along a side of the substrate and below the slate, an edge board is adhered that is level with a side of the slate, in which the material of edge board is the same as that of slat.

9. The faceplate of billiard board according to claim 6, wherein the substrate and the slate are thick at 4˜25 mm.

10. The faceplate of billiard board according to claim 6, wherein a quick tooth nail is fixed between the substrate and the slate, in which a thru hole is formed on the slate for accommodation and one end of the quick tooth nail is fixed passing through the accommodation thru hole and the substrate.
