Description
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

1. Field of the Invention

The present invention relates to a case for fast food, and more particularly, to a case for fast food, which holds fast food therein as it is, thereby preventing the fillings inside of the fast food from being spilt out to thereby maintain the fast food's clean and simple outward appearance, and especially allowing a consumer to eat the fast food easily and conveniently.

2. Background Art

Fast food is the term referred to food, such as hamburgers, hotdogs, doughnuts, and so on, sold in a restaurant or store with very quick and simple preparation in a packaged form for take-out.

Of course, also foods of various kinds, which can be prepared and served instantly and quickly, can be called fast food, but, hereinafter, in the present invention, foods, for instance, toast, sandwiches, hamburgers, pizza, and so on, which have the fillings inside (a fried eggs, a meat pad, chopped cabbages, a slice of tomato, cucumber pickles, and so on) put therein will be defined as fast food.

Recently, as people are growing more and more interested in health, the consumption of fast food grows lower, but the fast food, such as toast, sandwiches, hamburgers, pizza, hotdogs and so on, are still in the limelight of the modern people.

Fast food is in the limelight in that it is easy to eat alone, allows the consumer to enjoy tastes of various kinds, and especially can reduce time required to eat as it is simple to eat.

However, even though fast food in the packaged form is filled to the full with the fillings inside, such as a fried eggs, a meat pad, chopped cabbages, a slice of tomato, cucumber pickles, and so on, since exterior coverings of the fast food, such as bread, cookies, pastries, biscuits, and so on, are made in an approximately flat form, when lots of the fillings are put in, the fillings inside are spilt out of the exterior coverings, and hence, it is difficult to keep the fast food's clean and simple outward appearance and inconvenient to eat.

Accordingly, if the packaged fast food is prepared with an eatable case and fast food, for instance, toast, sandwiches, hamburgers, hotdogs, pizza, and so on, is held in the case, it may prevent the fillings inside from being spilt out to thereby maintain the fast food's clean and simple outward appearance, and especially allow the consumer to eat it easily and conveniently.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

Accordingly, the present invention has been made to solve the above-mentioned problems occurring in the prior arts, and it is an object of the present invention to provide a case for fast food, which holds fast food therein as it is, thereby preventing the fillings inside of the fast food from being spilt out to thereby maintain the fast food's clean and simple outward appearance, and allowing a consumer to eat the fast food easily and conveniently.

To accomplish the above object, according to the present invention, there is provided a case for fast food comprising: upper and lower cases made of eatable grain material, each of the upper and lower cases having a space for holding fast food therein; and a joining part formed on one of the upper and lower cases to join the upper and lower cases with each other, the joining part partially covering the other one of the upper and lower cases so that the upper and lower cases are joined with each other.

Here, the upper and lower cases are respectively manufactured through a molding work in such a way that upper and lower spaces are respectively formed in the upper and lower cases, and one of the upper and lower cases has a patterned portion formed on the surface thereof.

The grain material may be a single material used when cakes, cookies or bread are made or a composite material, in which various additives are mixed together, and the fast food may be one selected from toast, sandwiches, hamburgers, pizza, and so on.

According to the present invention, the case for fast food can prevent the fillings inside of the fast food from being spilt out to thereby maintain the fast food's clean and simple outward appearance, and allow the consumer to eat the fast food easily and conveniently, since fast food is held in the eatable case as it is.

The above and other objects, features and advantages of the present invention will be apparent from the following detailed description of the preferred embodiments of the invention in conjunction with the accompanying drawings, in which:

FIG. 1 is a perspective view of a case for fast food according to a first preferred embodiment of the present invention;

FIG. 2 is a sectional view of the case of FIG. 1;

FIG. 3 is a sectional view of a case for fast food according to a second preferred embodiment of the present invention; and

FIG. 4 is a sectional view of a case for fast food according to a third preferred embodiment of the present invention.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENT

Reference will be now made in detail to the preferred embodiment of the present invention with reference to the attached drawings.

FIG. 1 is a perspective view of a case for fast food according to a first preferred embodiment of the present invention, and FIG. 2 is a sectional view of the case of FIG. 1.

As shown in the drawings, the case 100 for fast food according to the first preferred embodiment is provided to put fast food (H) therein, and includes an upper case 110 and a lower case 120.

Here, fast food (H) is the term given to food of a packaged form, for instance, toast, sandwiches, hamburgers, pizza, and so on, having the fillings inside, such as fried eggs, meat pads, chopped cabbages, a slice of tomato, cucumber pickles, and so on, put therein. However, the right scope of the present invention is not restricted to the above, and equals to the above-mentioned fast foods belongs to the category of fast food (H).

The upper and lower cases 110 and 120 surround the fast food (H) of the packaged form, such as toast, sandwiches, hamburgers, pizza, and so on, and is eatable together with the fast food (H). Accordingly, the upper and lower cases 110 and 120 are made of eatable material.

There are various kinds of eatable material, but, in the present invention, grain is used for the upper and lower cases 110 and 120. In this instance, the grain may be a single material used generally when cakes or cookies are made or a composite material, in which various additives are mixed together.

The single material means wheat flour, rice flour, or others, and the composite material means mixture that an additive for a taste of roast meat, an additive for a taste of a barbecue, sources of various kinds, spicy, and so on are added to the single material, such as wheat flour, rice flour, or others.

The case 100 for fast food, which is made of the composite material, may increase customer's interest since it can realize various tastes.

The upper case 110 includes an upper space 110a and the lower case 120 includes a lower space 120a.

The upper space 110a and the lower space 120a form a single space between the upper case 110 and the lower case 120 when the upper case 110 and the lower case 120 are joined together, so that the fast food (H) can be put in the single space.

In this embodiment, since the upper case 110 and the lower case 120 respectively have an approximately hemi-spherical form, a hamburger, which is one of fast foods of various kinds, can be put in the upper and lower spaces 110a and 120a as it is when the upper and lower cases 110 and 120 are joined together.

If the upper case 110 and the lower case 120 respectively have a block structure having an inner space (not shown), toast, sandwiches, hotdogs, pizza, or the like, which is one of fast foods of various kinds, can be put in the inner space of the upper and lower cases 110 and 120 as it is.

Accordingly, the case 100 for fast food according to the present invention is not restricted to the form shown in the drawings, and may be modified in various ways according to kinds, shapes and forms of the fast food (H).

Since the upper and lower cases 110 and 120 are made of the eatable grain material, the upper and lower spaces 110a and 120a can be formed in such a way that inner faces of the upper and lower cases 110 and 120 are hollowed out.

However, in this embodiment, since the upper and lower cases 110 and 120 are manufactured through molding for mass-production, it is preferable that the upper and lower cases 110 and 120 are manufactured in a mold in such a way that the upper and lower spaces 110a and 120a are formed naturally in the upper and lower cases 110 and 120.

Particularly, when the upper and lower cases 110 and 120 are manufactured through the molding work, if the mold has a patterned molding face, as shown in the drawing, patterned portions 110b and 120b are respectively formed on the surfaces of the upper and lower cases 110 and 120 to thereby enhance the beauty of the outward appearance. Of course, the scope of right of the present invention is not restricted to the above, and hence, the patterned portions 110b and 120b may be omitted.

When the upper and lower spaces 110a and 120a are respectively formed in the upper and lower cases 110 and 120 through the molding work, it is not necessary to form the upper and lower spaces 110a and 120a in all of the spaces 110 and 120.

That is, only one of the upper and lower cases 110 and 120 has the space but the other is in a closed form. As described above, if the space is formed in only one of the upper and lower cases 110 and 120, the fast food (H) of a size smaller than the hamburger of a general size may be put in the space.

In the meantime, even though the upper and lower spaces 110a and 120a are respectively formed in the upper and lower spaces 110 and 120 and the fast food (H) is put in the spaces 110a and 110b, if there is no joining means between the upper case 110 and the lower case 120, the fast food (H) put in the case 100 may come out of the case 100 due to a separation of the upper and lower cases 110 and 120 from each other by themselves.

Accordingly, in order to prevent the fast food (H) from coming out of the upper and lower cases 110 and 120, the case 100 further includes a joining part 130 for partially coupling and joining an end portion of the upper case 110 to an end portion of the lower case 120.

Of course, the joining part 130 does not have a joining force as strong as the upper and lower cases 110 and 120 are not completely separated from each other. That is, it is sufficient that the joining part 130 has a joining force as strong as the upper and lower cases 110 and 120 are not separated from each other instantly or by a weak force while the fast food (H) is put in the upper and lower spaces 110a and 120a and the upper and lower cases 110 and 120 face each other.

Particularly, in case that the joining part 130 is constructed in such a way that the end portion of the lower case 120 is partially covered by and joined to the end portion of the upper case 110, it makes no doubt that also the joining part 130 can prevent the fillings inside of the fast food (H) from being spilt out of the case 100.

As described above, since the case for fast food according to this embodiment holds fast food therein as it is, it can prevent the fillings inside of the fast food (H) from being spilt out to thereby maintain the fast food's clean and simple outward appearance, and especially allow a consumer to eat the fast food (H) easily.

FIG. 3 is a sectional view of a case for fast food according to a second preferred embodiment of the present invention, and FIG. 4 is a sectional view of a case for fast food according to a third preferred embodiment of the present invention.

In case of the case 100 of the first preferred embodiment, the joining part 130 is formed on the end portion of the upper case 110 in such a way as to partially cover the end portion of the lower case 210, so that the end portion of the lower case 120 is joined to the joining part 130.

However, as shown in FIG. 3, in case of a case 200 according to the second preferred embodiment, a joining part 230 is formed on a lower case 220 in such a way as to partially cover an end portion of an upper case 210, so that the end portion of the upper case 210 is joined to the joining part 230.

Furthermore, a case 300 according to the third preferred embodiment adopts a form different from the cases 100 and 200 of the first and second preferred embodiments, which respectively have the joining parts 130 and 230 being in the form of Korean Alphabet ‘’. As shown in FIG. 4, a joining part 330 is formed on a lower case 320 in the form of English Alphabet ‘U’ in such a way that an end portion of an upper case 310 is partially inserted and fit into the joining part 330, so that the end portion of the upper case 310 is joined to the joining part 330.

The second and third preferred embodiments illustrated in FIGS. 3 and 4 have the same effect as the first preferred embodiment of the present invention.

It is not positively necessary to manufacture the upper and lower cases in a separated form. That is, the case may be constructed of a form that the upper and lower cases are partially joined together at one side edge.

While the present invention has been described with reference to the particular illustrative embodiments, it is not to be restricted by the embodiments but only by the appended claims. It is to be appreciated that those skilled in the art can change or modify the embodiments without departing from the scope and spirit of the present invention.
