Autoflow aka. postive drain tee

The Autoflow aka positive drain tee is a drainage system for two basin sinks. It allows reduced clogging from having a valve in the fitting to open or close the drain from one of the sinks to allow more room for a larger volume of water to force debris through the fitting and down the drain.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

The autoflow invention pertains to the field of plumbing.

This autoflow invention pertains to draining of two basin sinks and the prevention of clogged pipes and backflow during draining. The autoflow also allows for faster drainage.

BRIEF SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

The autoflow aka positive drain tee is a plumbing fitting, either a “Y” drain or tee with an automatic open and closed valve (swing gate valve) designed for a two basin sink drain system. The autoflow will allow for faster drainage and reduced clogs. The tee configuration allows the fitting to be connected to a two basin sink with a garbage disposal unit attached to one of the sink basins, and any other inline plumbing component.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

The autoflow invention is a drain system that prevents clogs; it is either a “Y” drain or tee drain with an automatic open and close valve (swing gate valve). The autoflow is designed for use with a two basin sink drain system

The autoflow can be manufactured by the injection molding process from polypropylene using state of the art injection molding equipment.

Claims

1. A plumbing fitting for draining two basin sinks to prevent clogs and create faster drainage comprising of piping and a valve.
