Abstract

The DeskSpacer V invention, like the DeskSpacer (application Ser. No. 11/879,236), and DeskSpacer III, a quadrilateral shaped 15° sloped utility desk organizer, constructed from high impact durable lightweight injection molded plastic, with a thickness of ⅛th of an inch, and to 15° slope on the top, a height (front slope) of 8.5 inches, a (back slope) height of 10 inches, a width of 8.5 inches, that stands on four Rubber/Felt grommets on each corner at the base of the bottom of it, that combines and integrates various basic desk accessories, such as several compartments, drawers, Pencil Sharpener, and a Tape Dispenser, into one compact receptacle, with everything needed readily available, at the tip of one's fingers thereby, providing productivity and efficiency in the work place.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

The field of endeavor for this product pertains to office supplies. The DeskSpacer V, like the DeskSpacer (application Ser. No. 11/879,236), DeskSpacer III and DeskSpacer IV, is a utility desk organizer that combines and integrates various basic desk accessories into one compact receptacle, so that you have various office supplies all together in one tiny little spot, readily available, and thereby creating a more efficient and productive work space.

BRIEF SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

The DeskSpacer V, like it's predecessor, the DeskSpacer (application Ser. No. 11/879,236), DeskSpacer III, and DeskSpacer IV, is a quadrilateral shaped desk organizer constructed of high-impact durable, lightweight injection molded plastic, that stands on four Rubber/Felt grommets on each corner on the bottom of it, has several compartments, a Tape Dispenser, several drawers for knick knacks, a Built in Pencil Sharpener, and a Slidable Stapler tray.

In comparison to the prior art listed, the DeskSpacer V, like the DeskSpacer, DeskSpacer III and DeskSpacer IV, is built in a way that is less bulky and more compact, enabling it to take up less space, making it easy to find the needed supplies, and providing more work space; and thereby creating a more efficient and productive work space.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

Pertaining to FIG. 2, the DeskSpacer V, like the DeskSpacer (application Ser. No. 11/879,236), DeskSpacer III and DeskSpacer IV, has 4 deep compartments on top (1, 2, 7 and 8), for pens, pencils, rulers and other writing/drawing accessories that require standing up. Compartment number (3) is also deep, but it is for sharp objects such as scissors, nail filers, box cutters, etc. The DeskSpacer V, like the DeskSpacer (application Ser. No. 11/879,236), DeskSpacer III and DeskSpacer IV, has two front drawers (numbers 9 and 10) for such things as paper clips, push pins, tacks, mailing stamp, etc. It also has a Tape Dispenser (numbers 4, 5 and 6), a Pencil Sharpener (numbers 11, 12 and 13), that connects to a standard wall outlet (number 15). In addition, the DeskSpacer V has a Slidable Stapler tray (number 14). All these features make it easy to find the needed supplies, and providing more work space, thus, creating a more efficient and productive work space.

Pertaining to FIGS. 3 and 4, the Tape Dispenser (number 4), consists of a roller shaft (number 5), and tape cutting saw (numbers 6), dispenses standard 1″ core tape, has easy tape brake for one-hand operation, easy load tape core, a quick dispensing, and quick lift off cap for easy and quick refill.

Pertaining to FIG. 5, all the drawers have a curved grip, and can pull out with a slight finger touch for easy opening and closing.

Pertaining to FIG. 6, the DeskSpacer V stands on four Rubber/Felt grommets on each corner on the bottom of it.

Pertaining to FIGS. 7, and 9 (numbers 14-20), the Pencil Sharpener Assembly has an electrical 115 volts motor, and a curved grip Shavings' Drawer that can be pulled out with just a slight finger touch for easy cleaning. The assembly is held securely in place by 4 screw(s) anchor.

Pertaining to FIG. 8, the stapler can Slide In and Out for easy storage, and holds and dispenses standard 1 Sharp Point staples.

Pertaining to FIG. 10, like the DeskSpacer (application Ser. No. 11/879,236), DeskSpacer III and DeskSpacer IV, the DeskSpacer V is a quadrilateral shaped desk organizer constructed of high-impact durable lightweight injection molded plastic with a thickness of ⅛,″ a 15° slope on the top, a height (front slope) of 8.5 inches, a (back slope) height of 10 inches, a width of 8.5 inches, and side walls of 7 inches.

Claims

1. I claim as my invention the DeskSpacer V, like the DeskSpacer (application Ser. No. 11/879,236), the DeskSpacer III, and the DeskSpacer IV, is a quadrilateral shaped 15° sloped utility desk organizer, constructed from high impact durable lightweight injection molded plastic, with a thickness of ⅛th of an inch, and to 15° slope on the top, a height (front slope) of 8.5 inches, a (back slope) height of 10 inches, a width of 8.5 inches, that stands on four Rubber/Felt grommets on each corner at the base of the bottom of it, that combines and integrates various basic desk accessories, such as several compartments, drawers, Tape Dispenser, Pencil Sharpener, and Stapler into one compact receptacle, with everything needed readily available at the tip of one's fingers thereby, providing a more efficient and productive work space.

2. Pertaining to claim 1, I claim as my invention the DeskSpacer V, like the DeskSpacer (application Ser. No. 11/879,236), and DeskSpacer III, and the DeskSpacer IV is a quadrilateral shaped 15° sloped utility desk organizer, constructed from high impact durable lightweight injection molded plastic, with a thickness of ⅛th of an inch, and to 15° slope on the top, a height (front slope) of 8.5 inches, a (back slope) height of 10 inches, a width of 8.5 inches, that stands on four Rubber/Felt grommets on each corner at the base of the bottom of it, wherein the improvement comprises of the combined and integrated various basic desk accessories, such as several compartments, drawers Tape Dispenser, Pencil Sharpener, and Slidable Stapler tray, into one compact receptacle with everything needed at the tip of one's fingers readily available, thus, providing a more efficient and productive work space.

3. Pertaining to claim 1, I claim as my invention the DeskSpacer V, like the DeskSpacer (application Ser. No. 11/879,236), DeskSpacer III, and the DeskSpacer IV, is a quadrilateral shaped 15° sloped utility desk organizer, constructed from high impact durable lightweight injection molded plastic, with a thickness of ⅛th of an inch, and to 15° slope on the top, a height (front slope) of 8.5 inches, a (back slope) height of 10 inches, a width of 8.5 inches, that stands on four Rubber/Felt grommets on each corner at the base of the bottom of it, that combines and integrates various basic desk accessories, such as several compartments, drawers and Tape Dispenser, into one compact receptacle, wherein the improvement comprises of the 4 top deep compartments, FIG. 2 (numbers, 1, 2, 7 and 8), for pens, pencils, rulers and other writing/drawing accessories that require standing up, and compartment No. 3, a Deeper and narrower compartment for sharp objects, such as nail filers, box cutters, scissors, etc., readily available, thus, providing a more efficient and productive work place.

4. Pertaining to claim 1, I claim as my invention the DeskSpacer V, like the DeskSpacer (application Ser. No. 11/879,236), DeskSpacer III, and the DeskSpacer IV, a quadrilateral shaped 15° sloped utility desk organizer, constructed from high impact durable lightweight injection molded plastic, with a thickness of ⅛th of an inch, and to 15° slope on the top, a height (front slope) of 8.5 inches, a (back slope) height of 10 inches, a width of 8.5 inches, that stands on four Rubber/Felt grommets on each corner at the base of the bottom of it, that combines and integrates various basic desk accessories, such as several compartments, drawers, a Tape Dispenser, a Pencil Sharpener, and Slidable Stapler Tray, into one compact receptacle, wherein the improvement comprises of the Tape Dispenser which consists of a roller shaft (number 5), and tape cutting saw (number 6), which has easy tape brake for one-hand operation, easy load tape core, a quick dispensing, and quick lift off cap for easy and quick refill, and dispenses standard 1″ core tape, readily available, thus providing a more efficient and productive work place.

5. Pertaining to claim 1, I claim as my invention, the DeskSpacer V, like the DeskSpacer (application Ser. No. 11/879,236), DeskSpacer III, and the DeskSpacer IV, a quadrilateral shaped 15° sloped utility desk organizer, constructed from high impact durable lightweight injection molded plastic, with a thickness of ⅛th of an inch, and to 15° slope on the top, a height (front slope) of 8.5 inches, a (back slope) height of 10 inches, a width of 8.5 inches, that stands on four Rubber/Felt grommets on each corner at the base of the bottom of it, that combines and integrates various basic desk accessories, such as several compartments, drawers, Tape Dispenser, Pencil Sharpener, and Slidable Stapler tray, into one compact receptacle, wherein the improvement comprises of the two front drawers (compartment numbers 9 and 10), for knick-knacks such as paper clips, push pins, tacks, mailing stamp, etc., readily available, providing a more efficient and productive work place.

6. Pertaining to claim 1, I claim as my invention, the DeskSpacer V, like the DeskSpacer (application Ser. No. 11/879,236), DeskSpacer III, and the DeskSpacer IV, a quadrilateral shaped 15° sloped utility desk organizer, constructed from high impact durable lightweight injection molded plastic, with a thickness of ⅛th of an inch, and to 15° slope on the top, a height (front slope) of 8.5 inches, a (back slope) height of 10 inches, a width of 8.5 inches, that stands on four Rubber/Felt grommets on each corner at the base of the bottom of it, that combines and integrates various basic desk accessories, such as several compartments, drawers, Tape Dispenser, Pencil Sharpener and Slidable Stapler tray, into one compact receptacle, wherein the improvement comprises of the Pencil Sharpener Assembly which has an electrical 115 volts motor (held securely in place by 4 screw(s) anchor), and a curved grip Shavings' Drawer that can be pulled out with just a slight finger touch for easy cleaning.

7. Pertaining to claim 1, I claim as my invention, the DeskSpacer V, like the DeskSpacer (application Ser. No. 11/879,236), and DeskSpacer IV, and the DeskSpacer IV, a quadrilateral shaped 15° sloped utility desk organizer, constructed from high impact durable lightweight injection molded plastic, with a thickness of ⅛th of an inch, and to 15° slope on the top, a height (front slope) of 8.5 inches, a (back slope) height of 10 inches, a width of 8.5 inches, that stands on four Rubber/Felt grommets on each corner at the base of the bottom of it, that combines and integrates various basic desk accessories, such as several compartments, drawers, Tape Dispenser, Pencil Sharpener and Slidable Stapler tray, into one compact receptacle, wherein the improvement comprises of the Slidable Stapler Drawer (for easy storage) which holds and dispenses standard 1 Sharp Point staples, readily available, providing a more efficient and productive work place.
