Inflatable sofa set

Abstract

An inflatable sofa set comprises a receiving body, a pump and at least one airbag which is received in the receiving body. The airbag is connected to the pump. When in use, the user drives the pump to inflate the airbag into a sofa for the user to sit on, or to deflate the airbag for storage. Thereby, the sofa set is simple and is convenient for storage.

Description

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

1. Field of the Invention

The present invention relates to a sofa, and more particularly to a collapsible and inflatable three-in-one sofa set which comprises a receiving body for receiving the sofa after the sofa is deflated.

2. Description of the Prior Art

Home is a place for people to rest and relax after a whole day work, and various kinds of furniture play an important role at home. For example, comfortable furniture can make you more comfortable, or even can help you remove the whole day's tiredness, for instance, sitting or lying on a sofa can help relieve fatigue. However, such a sofa occupies a large space and cannot be easily moved and is not easy for storage due to its large size and weight. Therefore, inflatable sofas appeared in the market but they are all not ideal because some air inflation apparatuses must be outwardly connected but are not of built-in type, or even worse, some inflatable sofas are not collapsible. Therefore, although such an inflatable sofa can be deflated after use, it will become irregular in shape after being folded, so it is untidy. Moreover, if put the deflated sofa in the cabinet or store room, it will probably be difficult to find it out when want to use it.

It is therefore tried by the inventor to develop a simply structured inflatable sofa set which can be quickly inflated or deflated and comprises a receiving body which not only can be used to receive the deflated sofa but also can be used as a table, a tea table, a chair, or a game chessboard.

The present invention has arisen to mitigate and/or obviate the afore-described disadvantages.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

The primary objective of the present invention is to provide an inflatable sofa set which is simply structured and convenient for storage since it comprises a receiving body for receiving sofas, and is provided with a plurality of wheels at a lower portion of the receiving body for conveniently transporting the sofa set for use indoors and/or outdoors.

To achieve the objective of the present invention, the inflatable sofa set comprises a receiving body, a pump and at least one airbag. The receiving body is provided with a receiving space for receiving the airbag and the pump. The pump is connected to the airbag for inflating it into a sofa. When not in use, the sofa can be deflated by the pump and then received in the receiving space of the receiving body, so it looks tidy and neat and occupies less space. In addition, the receiving body can also be used as a table, so that the sofa set of the present invention is convenient for storage and versatile.

The present invention will become more obvious from the following description when taken in connection with the accompanying drawings, which show, for purpose of illustrations only, the preferred embodiments in accordance with the present invention.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS

Referring to FIGS. 1-4, an inflatable sofa set in accordance with the present invention comprises a receiving body 10, a pump 20 and two airbags 30.

The receiving body 10 is provided with a receiving space 11 and a cover 12. The receiving space 11 is defined with an opening 111, and the cover 12 covers the opening 111. Both lateral edges of the opening 111 of the receiving body 10 are defined with a concave portion 13, respectively.

The pump 20 is received in the receiving space 11 of the receiving body 10 and is provided with a power supply device 21. The pump 20 is connected to two control knobs 22 and an indicating lamp 23 which are located on an outer surface of the receiving body 10. The control knobs 22 can control the pump 20 to perform inflation or deflation operations, separately or synchronously. The indicating lamp 23 can emit warning light and cut off the power supply when the pump 20 is overloaded, so as to stop the inflation or deflation operation. Each airbag 30 is connected to the pump 20 by a connecting portion 31 and is received in the receiving space 11 of the receiving body 10. The pump 20 can inflate or deflate the airbags 30, separately or synchronously. After being inflated, each airbag 30 becomes a sofa 300.

When the airbags 31 are received in the receiving body 10, the receiving body 10 can be used as a table, a tea table, a chair, or a game chessboard.

To use the sofa, the user can open the cover 12 to take the airbags 30 out of the receiving body 10 via the opening 111, and then turn the control knobs 22 to an inflation mode so as to make the pump 20 inflate the airbags 30 into the sofa 300.

The pump 20 is connected to the indicating lamp 23, so that when the pump 20 is overloaded due to the sofas 300 are over-inflated (or are inflated for too long), the indicating lamp 23 will emit warning light and cut off the power supply, so as to stop the inflation or deflation operation. When the airbags 30 are inflated into the sofas 300, since the airbags 30 are connected to the pump 20 by the connecting portions 31, the connecting portions 31 will be extended out of the concave portions 13 and the cover 12 can also cover the receiving body 10 after the airbags 30 are inflated into the sofas 300. At this time, the receiving body 10 is located between the sofas 300 and can be used as the tea table. In addition, the power supply device 21 of the pump 20 can be an alternating current (AC) plug or a direct current (DC) battery.

Furthermore, the present invention includes but not limited to two airbags 30, it may also include one, or more than two airbags 30.

Moreover, an outer surface of the cover 12 of the receiving body 10 can be provided with different kinds of chessboards, such as, Chinese chess, Caissa Chess, five chess and so on, and the cover 12 can be used as a chessboard after the receiving body 10 is closed. Thereby, the additional function of the receiving body 10 is improved, and the economic benefits and recreational benefits of the inflatable sofa set are relatively increased.

Referring to FIG. 4 again, at a lower portion of the receiving body 10 is provided a plurality of wheels 40 for conveniently transporting the sofa set for use indoors and/or outdoors.

Referring to FIG. 5, the outer surface of the receiving body 10 is provided with an audio device 50 having an audio input portion 51 for connecting to a MP3 or a notebook and an audio output portion 52 for playing sound effects, so as to further increase the additional function and value of the sofa set.

While we have shown and described various embodiments in accordance with the present invention, it should be clear to those skilled in the art that further embodiments may be made without departing from the scope of the present invention.

Claims

1. An inflatable sofa set comprising:

a receiving body having a receiving space;

a pump being received in the receiving space of the receiving body and provided with a power supply device, an outer surface of the receiving body being provided with a control knob for connecting to the pump and controlling the pump to perform inflation and deflation operations; and

an airbag being connected to the pump and received in the receiving space of the receiving body, the pump being used to inflate and deflate the airbag, after being inflated, the airbag becomes a sofa.

The inflatable sofa set as claimed in claim 1, wherein the airbag is connected to the pump by a connecting portion, the receiving space of the receiving body is defined with an opening, the receiving body further comprises a cover for covering the opening, both lateral edges of the opening of the receiving body are defined with a concave portion, respectively, and after being inflated, the connecting portion is extended out of the concave portions.

3. The inflatable sofa set as claimed in claim 1, wherein an indicating lamp is provided on the outer surface of the receiving body and connected to the pump for emitting warning light and cutting off power supply when the pump is overloaded, so as to stop the inflation and deflation operations.

4. The inflatable sofa set as claimed in claim 1, wherein the power supply device of the pump is of direct current (DC) or alternating current (AC).

5. The inflatable sofa set as claimed in claim 1, wherein a chessboard is provided on an outer surface of the cover of the receiving body and is selected from the group consisting of Caissa Chess, Chinese chess and five chess.

6. An inflatable sofa set comprising:

a receiving body having a receiving space;

at least one pump being received in the receiving space of the receiving body and provided with a power supply device, an outer surface of the receiving body being provided with two control knobs for connecting to the pump and controlling the pump to perform inflation and deflation operations, separately; and

two airbags being connected to the pump and received in the receiving space of the receiving body, the control knobs being used to control the pump to inflate and deflate the airbags, respectively, after being inflated, the airbags become two sofas.

The inflatable sofa set as claimed in claim 6, wherein each airbag is connected to the pump by a connecting portion, the receiving space of the receiving body is defined with an opening, the receiving body further comprises a cover for covering the opening, both lateral edges of the opening of the receiving body are defined with a concave portion, respectively, and after being inflated, the connecting portions are extended out of the concave portions.

8. The inflatable sofa set as claimed in claim 6, wherein an indicating lamp is provided on the outer surface of the receiving body and connected to the pump for emitting warning light and cutting off power supply when the pump is overloaded, so as to stop the inflation and deflation operations.

9. The inflatable sofa set as claimed in claim 6, wherein the power supply device of the pump is of direct current (DC) or alternating current (AC).

10. The inflatable sofa set as claimed in claim 6, wherein a chessboard is provided on an outer surface of the cover of the receiving body and is selected from the group consisting of Caissa Chess, Chinese chess and five chess.

11. The inflatable sofa set as claimed in claim 6, wherein a plurality of wheels is provided at a lower portion of the receiving body.

12. The inflatable sofa set as claimed in claim 6, wherein an audio device is provided on the outer surface of the receiving body and comprises an audio input portion and an audio output portion.
