Description
FIELD OF THE INVENTION

The present Utility Model Patent request refers to a new DISPOSITION INTRODUCED IN RACK FOR SERVER AND SIMILAR WITH CLOSURE IN MIXED SHEET, especially of a rack or similar product to be used for conditioning of servers, and this product is highlighted for revealing singular features that allow its construction with closure in mixed sheet, in an ideal mixture of polypropylene, wood wastes and joining additives, offering an ecologically correct product liable to receive the most assorted finishings, assuring an excellent cost/benefit relation concerning all the other similar products.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

The so-called racks for server are quite known, strategically distributed in data centers or less specific locations. With the technological convergence composed by a combination of hardware and software, it appears the necessity of optimizing the square meter occupation of those data centers, being used in such cases the racks for server passible of allocating such equipment in a vertical arrangement. Therefore the binomial to be optimized in technology and computing infrastructure is space saving x performance benefit, and for each case there will be an appropriate architecture.

The racks at issue have a tower shape, more specifically a rectangular prism shape, and they can hold forty servers in average.

The referred towers may show different set-ups and dimensions, keeping a height measure standard of the devices assembled on it, known as “Rack Unit”. The measures proper are represented by the equivalent number followed by the letter “U”.

BRIEF SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

In the present state of the art, the racks are manufactured from a shape chassis duly connected to each other, and they are plugged by closures made of carbon steel or aluminum sheets. The said sheets show a series of nuisances, starting with the raw material procurement process, which demand the utilization of non-renewable natural resources, both for aluminum and for carbon steel. Besides, such processes require large amounts of energy. On the other hand, the carbon steel sheets are required to receive some kind of surface protection and finishing that, just like the procurement process, generates a large environmental liability. It is clear that the use of carbon steel sheets subjects the assembly to an early deterioration, especially if the finishing quality is not good.

Besides, those conventional models present a high specific density, which impairs any transport logistic strategy.

The rack imagined by the inventor stands out for showing a particular construction, in which the closure is made with mixed sheet, more specifically of thermoplastic. The referred closure is liable to receive any type of coating, being 100% recyclable.

Thus, the rack with the demanded closure presents a mechanic resistance compatible with the conventional materials, low density, high flexibility and moldability.

On the other hand, the rack with the proposed closure does not suffer early deterioration, notedly because the thermoplastic is highly resistant and durable.

To follow, it is explained the Model with reference to the attached drawing, in which is represented of an illustrative, and not limitative, way.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS

FIG. 1: View in exploded perspective of the disposition introduced in rack for server with closure in mixed sheet, with detail in cut of the sheet.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENT

The DISPOSITION INTRODUCED IN RACK FOR SERVER AND SIMILAR WITH CLOSURE IN MIXED SHEET, object of this Utility Model Patent request consists essentially in a rack (1) for server with a closure made with thermoplastic material sheet (2), which are anchored on shapes (3) which reassemble the chassis (4) of the rack (1), and thus they may take the most varied configurations and constructive dispositions.

More specifically, the rack (1) for server whatever its configuration may be, is made from a chassis (4) formed by shapes (3) which fit into each other (E); once it is structured, it is liable to be filled in with mixed sheets (2), which are nothing more than thermoplastic laminates basically made of polypropylene, wood flour and agglutinant additives dosed according to the intended mechanic particularities, and those sheets may receive assorted coatings.

In this way, the rack (1) creates an ecologically correct product, especially by the above described composition and by the fact of being 100% recyclable, which makes it both technically and commercially attractive.

Therefore, according to the enclosed figure, with the said sheet (2), it can achieve the removal of several steps of the rack (1) manufacturing, also facilitating the attainment of angle contours such as that of the illustrated door (P), by hot molding.

Besides the preconized benefits, the model at issue stands out also for containing significant advantages in the resistance and durability level, notedly when it is compared to those made of carbon steel sheet.

Claims

1) DISPOSITION INTRODUCED IN RACK FOR SERVER AND SIMILAR WITH CLOSURE IN MIXED SHEET is made from a chassis (4) formed with shapes (3) which fit into each other (E), wherein, once structured, it is filled in by mixed sheets (2), which are nothing more than a thermoplastic laminates basically composed by polypropylene, wood flour and agglutinating additives dosed according to the intended mechanic particularities.
