Binding Machine
This invention introduces a binding machine with improved structure. It mainly includes main body, non-slip mat, scroll, ratchet wheel, hand knob, spring leaf, and control pulling plate, main lacing, and auxiliary lacing. The non-slip mat is made of soft materials and is connected with the bottom board of the main body. In addition, there are two hand pieces attached to the main body and there is the recess in the shape matching the fingers. This invention of binding machine does not scrape the surface of the tied down items and it is more convenient for use.
This application claims the priority of the Chinese patent application No. 200820180137.X filed on Nov. 28, 2008, which application is incorporated herein by reference.
FIELD OF THE INVENTIONThis invention involves a binding machine, especially one that is used to bind objective and speedily fixate and loosen objects with lacings by rotating the hand knob.
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTIONThe binding machine is widely applied in the daily life with various models. One of such models is consisted of a main body, hand knob, ratchet wheels, spring leaf, control pulling plate, main lacing, and auxiliary lacing. The main lacing circles around the scroll and you can tightened up or loosen the items by moving the hand knob.
The main body of such tie-downs available in the current market is all made of steel board and the tie-down slips easily and scrape the items it ties when in use, which affects the normal application.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTIONThis invention aims to propose a structurally improved binding machine to shoot the defects of existing binding machine. During the use, it will not scrape the surface of items tied up and it is more convenient to use.
To achieve the above goals, this invention adopts the following technical proposal:
The structurally improved binding machine is used to tie up the objects, which includes:
a main body having a level bottom board with a right and a left side plates, a cavity being existed between the two side plates;
a non-slip mat made of soft plastic materials and being connected with the level bottom board of the main body;
a scroll located in the cavity of the main body, the right and left ends of the scroll going through the side plates of the main body;
two ratchet wheels being set on the scroll at left and right sides;
a hand knob located above the main body, the left and right side plates of the hand knob being connected to the left and right ends of the scroll;
a spring leaf located between the side plates and behind the scroll, the front side of the spring leaf being connected with the ratchet wheel;
a control pulling plate located between the two side plates of the hand knob being slidable up and down between two side plates' the bottom of the control pulling plate being connected with the ratchet wheel;
a main lacing being located in the cavity the main body and circled on the scroll, a rear end of the main lacing which is held out from the back side of main body having a main hook;
an auxiliary lacing fixed on a horizontal bean in the front side of the main body having an auxiliary hook at front end.
As the improvement of above mentioned technical proposal, wherein the non-slip mat has two hand pieces affixed to the two side plates of the main body, and there is a recess for fingers in each hand piece.
As the improvement of above mentioned technical proposal, wherein the left and right sides of the scroll go through the side plates of the hand knob, and a plastic knob is fixed on each end of scroll.
As the improvement of above mentioned technical proposal, wherein each one of the right and left side plates of the hand knob is fixed a fastener having slide slot, the protruding parts of the right and left ends of the control pulling plate are inserted into the fasteners respectively, and match with compressing springs in the fasteners.
As the improvement of above mentioned technical proposal, wherein the end of the main lacing held out from the front side of the main body is rolled and sewed into a knot.
As the improvement of above mentioned technical proposal, wherein the inside of the hand knob is steel plate and the outside is covered with a plastic layer.
After adopting the above mentioned technical proposal, this invention is advantageous in that: (1) the non-slip mat linked to the main body bottom board can prevent scraping the surface of items tied up when using this tie-down, and it is convenient for holding the tie-down by fingers; (2) the knob set on the two sides of the scroll allows more convenience for the users to retract and release the lacing speedily; (3) there are compressing spring in the left and right sides of the control pulling plate and the force is more even, and no askew phenomenon occurs that affects the normal use of the tie-down; (4) one end of the main lacing circles for several rounds and is then sewed together, which can avoid that the main lacing detaches from the scroll and causes difficulty during the users' installation on their own, so it is more convenient to use.

Among them, Main body 10 is made of steel plate, and has a level bottom board, which's left and right sides kink to form Side Plate 11. The two Side Plates 11 form the hollow cavity. To make main body 10 look better and enhance comfortable operation,
Non-slip mat 20, which is made of soft plastic materials and is connected with the bottom board of Main Body 10, has hand piece 21 that is attached to two Side Plates 11 of main body 10. There is recess 211 that goes match with fingers in hand piece 21. In addition, on the rear side of Non-slip mat 20, there is a retaining wall 22 that links with hand piece 21. Retaining wall 22 is attached to the steel plate on the rear side of main body 10, and there is retaining wall 221 in the middle that allows for the passage of lacings.
Scroll 30 is inside the hollow cavity formed by the two side plates 11 of main body 10, and there is the horizontal locating notch 301 allows for the passage of lacings in the middle. The left and right ends of scroll 30 go through side Plate 11. There is plastic knob 31 on its end in order for the users to rapidly retract and release the lacings by directly rotating Scroll 30.
Two ratchet wheels 40 are set in the outside of the hollow cavity formed by two Side Plates 11 of main body 10 (surely it can also be set inside the hollow cavity). Two ratchet wheels 40 are set on the two sides of scroll 30, which can drive scroll 30 to rotate.
Hand knob 50 crosses above main body 10, and the side plates 51 on its left and right sides are respectively connected with the left and right ends of scroll 30, and it can rotate back and forth around the central axis. Spring leaf 60, is located between two side plates 11 and in the rear side of scroll 30, with its front end goes together with Ratchet 40 to prevent the reverse rotation of ratchet 40.
Control pulling plate 70 is located between two side plates 51 of hand knob 50. Its projecting parts on the left and right ends are inserted into Fastener 52 on Side Plate 51 that is fixated on hand knob 50, and they can move up and down along the sliding way of fastener 52. Their bottom can maintain the contact with ratchet wheel through the elastic force of compressing spring 53 inside Fastener 52. When the user pushes hand knob 50, Control Pulling Plate 70 can drive scroll 30 to rotate.
Main lacing 80 is within the hollow cavity formed by two Side Plates 12 of main body 10, and it goes through the horizontal retaining nest 31 in the middle of scroll 30. Its two ends project out of the front and back sides of Main Body 10. Among them, there is the main hook 81 in the tail of lacing that reaches to the rear of Main Body 10. The lacing tail that extends out to the front of main body 10 circles for several rounds and is sewed together, which forms Knot 82. The thickness of knot 82 must be larger than the horizontal retaining Nest 301 in the middle of Scroll 30, which can prevent Main Lacing 80 from taking off scroll 30.
The tail of auxiliary lacing 90 is fixated in horizontal beam 12 in the front side of main body 10, and there is the auxiliary hook 91 that goes together with main hook 81 in its front end.
Before using this utility model, hold the handle on the top end Hand knob 50 first, and use the fingers to pull up Control Pulling Plate, push hand knob 50 forward. The bottom of control pulling plate 70 relieves ratchet wheel 40 of its restriction. Then, you can pull main lacing 80 to a proper length to tie up the objects.
When the object is tied up, hold the handle of hand knob 50 with your hands, and press Hand Knob 50. Control pulling plate 70 brings scroll 30 to rotate some angle clockwise through ratchet wheel 40. Afterwards, use the fingers to pull up control pulling plate 70 and push hand knob 50 forward in position and then press down hand knob 50. Repeat for several times. Then retract main lacing 80 tightly to have the object tied up firmly by main lacing 80 and auxiliary lacing 90.
Claims
1. A binding machine for tying and stabilizing objects comprising:
- a main body having a level bottom board with a right and a left side plates, a cavity being existed between the two side plates;
- a non-slip mat made of soft plastic materials and being connected with the level bottom board of the main body;
- a scroll located in the cavity of the main body, the right and left ends of the scroll going through the side plates of the main body;
- two ratchet wheels being set on the scroll at left and right sides;
- a hand knob located above the main body, the left and right side plates of the hand knob being connected to the left and right ends of the scroll;
- a spring leaf located between the side plates and behind the scroll, the front side of the spring leaf being connected with the ratchet wheel;
- a control pulling plate located between the two side plates of the hand knob being slidable up and down between two side plates' the bottom of the control pulling plate being connected with the ratchet wheel;
- A main lacing being located in the cavity the main body and circled on the scroll, a rear end of the main lacing which is held out from the back side of main body having a main hook;
- an auxiliary lacing fixed on a horizontal bean in the front side of the main body having an auxiliary hook at front end.
2. The binding machine of claim 1, wherein the non-slip mat has two hand pieces affixed to the two side plates of the main body, and there is a recess for fingers in each hand piece.
3. The binding machine of claim 2, wherein the left and right sides of the scroll go through the side plates of the hand knob, and a plastic knob is fixed on each end of scroll.
4. The binding machine of claim 3, wherein each one of the right and left side plates of the hand knob is fixed a fastener having slide slot, the protruding parts of the right and left ends of the control pulling plate are inserted into the fasteners respectively, and match with compressing springs in the fasteners.
5. The binding machine of claim 4, wherein the end of the main lacing held out from the front side of the main body is rolled and sewed into a knot.
6. The binding machine of claim 5, wherein the inside of the hand knob is steel plate and the outside is covered with a plastic layer.
