MULTIFUNCTIONAL RACK STRUCTURE
A multifunctional rack structure comprises a base having grooves spaced apart on the surface; a bookrack pivotally coupled to the base and having grooves spaced apart on the upper surface and two support rods on the lower surface; and a pillow rack pivotally coupled to the bookrack and having a pillow pad on the upper surface and two support rods on the lower surface. The support rods of the bookrack are inserted into one groove of the base. A book or notebook is then placed on the bookrack. Thereby, the user reads the book or operates the notebook comfortably. Alternatively, the support rods of the pillow rack are inserted into one groove of the bookrack; the user leans his head on the pillow pad to take a rest or nap. Further, the bookrack and pillow rack can be stacked to form a flat body easy to store or carry about.
1. Field of the Invention
The present invention relates to a multifunctional rack structure, particularly to a multifunctional bookrack structure, which can also function as a notebook computer rack or a pillow rack, and which is easy to assemble, store and carry about.
2. Description of the Related Art
A conventional bookrack is usually a board appropriately tilted to place a book on. However, such a bookrack is so simple and plain because it lacks any additional function. When operating a notebook computer, the user usually places it on a desk horizontally. However, such an arrangement usually makes the user uncomfortable and easy to feel tired. When one has a noon break and intends to take a nap, he usually puts his hands on the table and leans his head on the hands. However, the person is usually hard to refresh from such a gesture. Further, the blood circulation of the hands is likely to be affected by such a gesture because the head compresses the hands. Based on many years' experience in related fields, the Inventor has been persistently devoted to researches and experiments and finally proposes the present invention to provide a multifunctional bookrack, which can also function as a notebook computer rack or a pillow rack.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTIONThe primary objective of the present invention is to provide a multifunctional rack structure, which can function as a bookrack, a laptop computer rack and a pillow rack, and which is easy to assemble, store and carry about.
To achieve the abovementioned objective, the present invention proposes a multifunctional rack structure comprises, a base, a bookrack and a pillow rack. The base has a plurality of grooves spaced apart on the surface thereof. The bookrack is pivotally coupled to the base and has a plurality of grooves spaced apart on the upper surface thereof and two support rods on the lower surface thereof. The pillow rack is pivotally coupled to the bookrack and has a pillow pad on the upper surface thereof and two support rods on the lower surface thereof. The support rods of the bookrack are inserted into one groove of the base, and a book or notebook computer is then placed on the bookrack. Thereby, the user can read the book or operate the notebook computer comfortably. Alternatively, the support rods of the pillow rack are inserted into one groove of the bookrack, and the user leans his head on the pillow pad to take a rest or nap. When the multifunctional rack structure is not in use, the bookrack and the pillow rack can be stacked to form a flat body, which is easy to store or carry about.
In one embodiment of the present invention, the pillow pad has a recessed portion in the center thereof. When the user leans his head on the pillow pad, the recessed portion can accommodate the face of the user. Thereby, the user can have a more comfortable rest or nap.
In one embodiment of the present invention, the bookrack has two retractable pressers on the two ends of the lower edge of the upper surface thereof. When a book is placed on the bookrack, the pressers press the book lest the leaves of the book be lifted up.
In one embodiment of the present invention, the bookrack has a liftable block plate in the lower edge of the upper surface thereof. When a notebook computer is placed on the bookrack, the block plate is lifted to block the notebook computer lest the notebook computer slide down.
Referring to
The base 1 has a plurality of grooves 11 spaced apart on the surface thereof. The bookrack 2 is pivotally coupled to the base 1 and has a plurality of grooves 21 spaced apart on the upper surface thereof. Two retractable pressers 22 arranged on two ends of the lower edge of the upper surface, and a liftable block plate 24 arranged in between the two pressers 22. The bookrack 2 has two movable support rods 23 on the lower surface thereof.
The pillow rack 3 is pivotally couple to the bookrack 2 and has a pillow pad 31 on the upper surface thereof and two movable support rods 32 on the lower surface thereof. The pillow pad 31 has a recessed portion 311 in the center thereof as shown in
The abovementioned components form a multifunctional rack structure of the present invention.
In one embodiment of the present invention, the support rods 23 of the bookrack 3 are inserted into one groove 11 of the base 1, and the bookrack 2 is thus tilted by an appropriate angle. At the same time, the pillow rack 3 is turned over to the back of the bookrack 2. Then, a book or notebook computer is placed on the bookrack 2. In another embodiment of the present invention, the support rods 32 of the pillow rack 3 are inserted into one groove 21 of the bookrack 2. Then, the user leans his head on the pillow pad 31 to take a rest or nap as shown in
