Description
FIELD OF THE INVENTION

The present invention relates to a fully foldable storage box, and more particularly to a storage box that can be fully folded without removing a hard bottom board of the storage box.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

Traditional storage box generally comes with a foldable structure for effectively saving space and volume for storage, transportation, and display for sale and allows users to fold the storage box freely. For example, a separate piece of unwoven cloth is attached onto surfaces of a front board, a rear board and two lateral boards of the traditional storage box, and a soft bottom of the storage box is made of unwoven cloth, and a detachable hard bottom board is disposed on top of the bottom to constitute a foldable storage box. However, the front board, rear board and two lateral boards of the storage box are made of a hard material and come with a specific thickness, so that the hard bottom board cannot be folded among the front board, rear board and two lateral boards, or else the bottom board will interfere the folding space of the front board, rear board and two lateral boards. Thus, it is necessary to remove the hard bottom board before the front board, rear board and two lateral boards can be folded together flatly. Furthermore, the removed hard bottom board must be placed outside the storage box. Obviously, the traditional storage box cannot be fully folded, and the detachable hard bottom board may be lost easily, such that the whole storage box no longer can be used anymore.

In view of the foregoing shortcomings of the traditional foldable structure of a storage box, the inventor of the present invention based on years of experience in the related industry to conduct extensive researches and experiments, and finally developed a fully foldable storage box to overcome the shortcomings of the present invention.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

Therefore, it is a primary objective of the present invention to provide a fully foldable storage box, having a bottom board coupled with a rear board of the storage box. After the bottom board is lifted without being detached completely from the bottom board, the whole storage box can be folded flatly to achieve a fully folded structure.

To achieve the foregoing objective, the present invention provides a storage box, comprising: a soft bottom, and four hard side boards including a front board, a rear board and two lateral boards perpendicularly coupled to four edges of the bottom, and the front board and the rear board being coupled with both edges of the two lateral boards respectively to constitute a storage box having a first folding line disposed along each of four lateral corners, characterized in that a second folding line is disposed perpendicularly at the middle of two selected corresponding lateral boards, and a third folding line is disposed perpendicularly at a side of the two lateral boards and proximate to the rear board, such that a support strip is formed between the two lateral boards and the rear board separately and applied to a bottom edge of the internal side of the rear board for supporting an enclosed containing space, and a liftable hard bottom board is coupled to a bottom edge of the internal side of the rear board, so that an end of the bottom board can be coupled to the bottom edge of the internal side of the rear board, and the bottom board can be stacked onto the soft bottom.

DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENT

Other features and advantages of the present invention will become apparent in the following detailed description of the preferred embodiments with reference to the accompanying drawings.

With reference to FIGS. 1 and 2 for an improved structure of a fully foldable storage box in accordance with a preferred embodiment of the present invention, the fully foldable storage box comprises a soft bottom 11, four hard side boards including a front board 12, a rear board 13 and two lateral boards 14 perpendicularly coupled to four edges of the bottom 11, and both edges of the front board 12 and the rear board 13 being coupled with both edges of the two lateral boards respectively to constitute a storage box having first folding lines 121, 131 at four edge corners, a second folding line 141 perpendicularly disposed at the middle of two selected corresponding lateral boards 14 (as shown in FIG. 3), and a third folding line 142 disposed separately on the two lateral boards 14 and proximate to an edge of the rear board 13 (as shown in FIG. 3), such that a support strip 15 is formed between the two lateral boards 14 and the rear board 13 and applied to an internal side of the rear board 13 for supporting an enclosed containing space A. In addition, a liftable hard bottom board 16 is coupled to an edge of the internal side of the rear board 12, so that the bottom board 16 can be stacked onto the soft bottom 11 (as shown in FIGS. 4 and 5). If the length of the bottom board 16 is greater that the height of the rear board 12, a fourth folding line 161 can be designed on the bottom board 16 (as shown in FIG. 2), so that the height of the lifted bottom board 16 will not exceed the height of the rear board 13, and a pull tab 162 is installed at the fourth folding line 161, so as to constitute the fully foldable storage box.

With the aforementioned structure of the fully foldable storage box, a user can pull the pull tab 162 to lift the bottom board 16 if it is necessary to fold the storage box for a manufacturer's packing or for a user's storage, and the bottom board 16 will be folded into halves along the fourth folding line 161, and the folded bottom board 16 will be attached onto the internal side of the rear board 13 in the containing space A supported by the support strip 15 (as shown in FIGS. 3 and 6). The two lateral boards 14 are folded along the second folding line 141 and the third folding line 142 in a direction towards the interior of the storage box (as shown in FIGS. 3 and 7), so that the whole storage box can be folded flatly. Since the support strip 15 is provided for supporting the bottom board 16, the storage box can be folded completely and flatly without the need of removing the bottom board 16 from the containing space A. Compared with the prior art that has to remove the bottom board from the storage box, the present invention is more convenient and capable of preventing the bottom board from missing.

With reference to FIGS. 8 and 9, if the length of the bottom board 16 of the invention does not exceed the rear board 13, the structure of the fourth folding line 161 can be omitted, and an end of the whole piece of the bottom board 16 can be coupled to the bottom edge of the internal side of the rear board 13, and a pull tab 162 is disposed at a free end to constitute the fully foldable storage box. If a user lifts the bottom board 16 and attaches it into the containing space A on the internal side of the rear board 13, the bottom board 16 will not exceed the height of the rear board 13, so that the storage box can be folded completely and flatly.

In FIG. 1, the fully foldable storage box of the present invention further comprises a hollow window 122 disposed at the front board 12 as needed, and a transparent plate 123 is coupled to the hollow window 122, so that users can check an object stored in the storage box. In addition, a handle 124 made of a ribbon can be connected to an appropriate position on the exterior of the front board 12, such that the storage box can be used together with a cupboard or a three-drawer cabinet and applied as a drawer.

It is noteworthy to point out that the front board 12, the rear board 13, the two lateral boards 14, the support strip 15 and the bottom board 16 are made of hard plates, and unwoven cloths are attached on surfaces of the plates. With the unwoven cloths coupled to the front board 12, the rear board 13, the two lateral boards 14, the support strip 15 and the bottom board 16, the aforementioned first folding lines 121, 131, second folding line 141, third folding line 142 and fourth folding line 161 are formed for folding and storing the whole storage box.

In summation of the description above, the fully foldable storage box in accordance with the present invention complies with the patent application requirements, and thus is duly filed for patent application. While the invention has been described by means of specific embodiments, numerous modifications and variations could be made thereto by those skilled in the art without departing from the scope and spirit of the invention set forth in the claims.
