DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PRESENTLY PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS

FIG. 1 depicts a schematic diagram of a playing table 102 providing a mechanism through which one or more dancers (not shown) may perform acts such as exotic dance. The playing table 102 includes a dancing pole 104. According to this embodiment, the playing table 102 is a standard circular pool table. According to other embodiments, the playing table 102 may be a circular pool table built according to the Billiard Congress of America (BCA) and World Pool-Billiard Association (WPA), a rectangular pool table, billiard table, poker table, or roulette table. The circular pool table 102 is supported by three legs 108, 110, and 112. The dancing pole 104 is coupled directly with a playing surface 106 of the circular pool table 102. The dancing pole 104 maybe attached to the playing surface 106 via variety of fasteners known to artisans of ordinary skill. The dancing pole 104 may also be attached to the playing surface 106 via an interference fit such as a press fit or shrink fit known to artisans of ordinary skill. According to this embodiment the one or more dancers may utilize this mechanism, i.e., the dancing pole 104 and the playing surface 106, to perform acts such as exotic dance while the players play with the circular pool table 102.

FIG. 2 depicts a schematic diagram of a playing table 202 providing a mechanism through which one or more dancers (not shown) may perform acts such as exotic dance. According to this embodiment, the mechanism includes a dancing pole 204 and a dancing platform 214. According to this embodiment, the playing table 202 is a standard circular pool table. According to other embodiments, the playing table 202 may be a circular pool table built according to the Billiard Congress of America (BCA) and World Pool-Billiard Association (WPA), a rectangular pool table, billiard table, poker table, or roulette table. The circular pool table 202 is supported by three legs 208, 210, and 212. The dancing pole 204 is coupled directly with a playing surface 206 of the circular pool table 202. As discussed above, the dancing pole 204 maybe attached to the playing surface 206 via variety of fasteners or interference fits known to artisans of ordinary skill. According to this embodiment the dancing platform 214 is provided so as to limit interference with the playing surface 206. The dancing platform 214 maybe attached to the dancing pole 204 via variety of fasteners or interference fits known to artisans of ordinary skill. According to this embodiment, the one or more dancers may utilize the mechanism, i.e., the dancing pole 204 and the dancing platform 214 to perform acts such as exotic dance on a dancing surface 216 of the dancing platform 214 while the players play with the circular pool table 202.

FIG. 3 depicts a schematic diagram of a playing system 300 comprising a playing table 302 and a mechanism which may be utilized by one or more dancers (not shown) to perform acts such as exotic dance. According to this embodiment, the mechanism includes a dancing pole 304 and a dancing platform 314. According to this embodiment, the playing table 302 is a standard circular pool table. According to other embodiments, the playing table 302 may be a circular pool table built according to the Billiard Congress of America (BCA) and World Pool-Billiard Association (WPA), a rectangular pool table, billiard table, poker table, or roulette table. The circular pool table 302 is supported by three legs 308, 310, and 312. The dancing pole 304 is coupled directly with a structure 318, such as a ceiling. As discussed above, the dancing pole 304 maybe attached to the structure 318 via variety of fasteners or interference fits known to artisans of ordinary skill. According to this embodiment the dancing pole 304 and dancing platform 314 are situated directly above a playing surface 306 of the circular pool table 302 so as to avoid interference with the playing surface 306. The dancing platform 314 maybe attached to the dancing pole 304 via variety of fasteners or interference fits known to artisans of ordinary skill. According to this embodiment, the one or more dancers may utilize the mechanism, i.e., the dancing pole 304 and the dancing platform 314 to perform acts such as exotic dance on the dancing surface 316 of the dancing platform 314 without any interference with the players playing on the surface 306 of the circular pool table 302.
