Description

As is known, for the training of the boxer match cushion-bags are presently available, intended to receive the knocks of the boxer.

Presently known cushion-bags have the shortcoming that one does not fully correctly knock them, whereby muscular-skeletal harms and harms to articulations arise in time.

Therefore, it is the object of this invention to provide a novel match cushion-bag, that overcomes such shortcomings.

Such an object is achieved according to this invention by providing a match cushion-bag of such a geometry that—differently from known ones, of a circular or cube geometry—it reflects the actual impact angle of the knocks brought to the target, such as the basic ones: hooks, uppercuts, straights and the like. jab dir. sin.

Therefore, this invention, has as its subject-matter a match cushion-bag according to enclosed Claim 1.

Such a cushion-bag is conformed according to an ergonomic geometric figure, representative of the opponent's body; to which ergonomic figure geometric figures are applied, such as facets, so arranged as to reflect the impact angle of brought knocks, then unloading the impulse of the knocks in a substantially perfect manner to all the osteo-articular structure effectively implied.

Further, according to this invention, it is envisaged that the stuffing of the cushion-bag has a differentiated density, which is higher in the zones of lesser volume, so as to offer a uniform strength to the knock.

This invention will be fully understood based on the following disclosure of preferred embodiments thereof, only given as a matter of example, absolutely not of restriction, referring to the enclosed drawings, wherein:

FIG. 1 represents a front view of a match cushion-bag according to this invention;

FIG. 2 represents in a side view the bearing structure of the cushion-bag of FIG. 1, and

FIG. 3 represents the inventive match cushion-bag in one of its positions.

As depicted in FIG. 1, the match cushion-bag, which represents a model of the human body of the opponent, has a geometry that includes a plurality of facets. Precisely, one has two extreme side facets 1A, 1B that represent side bands of human body, suitably angled according to the aforesaid principle, of about 45°. Moreover, one has an inferior face 2 that represents lower belly, such face is sloped downwards of an angle e.g. of 15°-20°. Moreover, one has a vertical front face 3 that represents thoracic chest; a face 4 represents the throat and the chin, and turns a concavity downwards; a front and vertical face 5 that represents the face; two side faces 6A and 6B that represent the sides of the head, with slopes converging forwards by about 15°; two faces 7A and 73 that are access spaces for knocking 6A and 6B respectively; by 8 one has the intersection between 2 and 3 with a concavity turned upwards, which gives support to the knock received at the abdomen, keeping the osteal structure of the hand, closed in the knock, on its axis.

Referring to FIG. 2, the supporting structure is represented whereupon the aforedescribed cushion-bag is mounted in an adjustable manner.

In it one can see a fixed support beam 11, to be mounted vertically to a wall by means of a spacing base 11B; two wall attachments, one of which 12 visible, similar to 11B, but removable, to give stiffness to support beam 11, and of aid to the mounting. The not visible attachment is placed at the upper extremity of beam 11.

Moreover, there are two opposite tubings 13 and 14, which are united with each other by a threaded bar-and-nut system, that allow an opening with a transom-window movement. First tubing 14 is inserted into and slides along structure 11 and two locks 14A and 14B of any kind allow its locking in a desired position. Tubing 13 holds the cushion-bag anchored to itself, e.g. by screws that attach themselves onto plates 15, 16, welded onto 13 and suitably drilled. On 13 there is an anchor clamp 17, towards the free upper extremity. By clamp 17 it is allowed that 13 is positioned on structure 11, acquiring a given vertical position.

An extremity of piston, e.g. hydraulic piston, shock absorber 19, is united to a throughbolt-and-nut anchor 18 that allows also a rotary motion thereof. The sane situation holds in correspondence with 18B which is integral with smooth-running slide 19 endowed with latches to be able to adjust heights.

Having disclosed the structure of the inventive apparatus, now one briefly discloses the setting for its use.

Starting from a vertical setting of the cushion-bag, by acting upon the latches of the anchor clamp 17, one detaches tubing 13 from structure 11. By acting upon latches of 20 we can make the same to slide and so adjust the slopes of tubing 13 to desired angles.

Anchor clamp 17 also performs the function of giving consistency to tubing 13 in its fixed vertical position, allowing to hit the cushion-bag with an extreme force without damaging the structure (in vertical position only—when it is in a bowed position, 17 does not perform any function). As we already know, though hitting at the maximum of the force, on will not notice harms to osteal structure, by virtue of the geometries, studied on the field, which allow its full impact. Therefore, though hitting with maximum force, however, one increases technical gesture. In a vertical position one matematically has lesser actions to bring. Moreover, a slight vibration also allows not to stress weldings to rupture.

By acting upon latches of 14-14A and 14B—we shall adjust the heights at will as a function of the height of the opponent boxer, e.g. at 1.90 m. In this way one can develop technical gesture fit for fighting an opponent of various height and in various lines of the technique.

This invention has been disclosed and illustrated referring to specific embodiments thereof, but it is to be expressely understood that variations, additions and/or omissions can be made, without so departing from the scope of protection relevant thereto, which remains exclusively defined by the appended claims.

For instance, notwithstanding the inventive cushion-bag has been disclosed as mounted upon a structure that allows position settings thereof, however, this one is not restricted to such a type of mounting, but a wall fixed mounting can be envisaged.

Claims

1. An antitrauma shock-absorber anatomic match cushion-bag stimulator of technical gesture, conformed according to an ergonomic geometric figure, including facets respectively representative of corresponding areas of the body of an opponent boxer, and reflecting the impact angle of a knock thereupon; in such a way as to unload the impact in a substantially perfect manner onto all the osteo-articular structure actually involved in the impact.

2. The match cushion-bag according to claim 1 further characterized in that the stuffing of the cushion-bag presents a differentiated density, higher in the zones having a lesser volume, in such a way as to offer a uniform strength to the brought knock.

The match cushion-bag according to claim 1, further characterized in that it is equipped with a structure for supporting it, endowed with an anchor tubing to be anchored to a wall, and with a tubing for supporting the match cushion-bag; the tubing for supporting being united to the anchor tubing by uniting means such as to allow a height and transom-window sloping setting.

4. The match cushion-bag according to claim 3, wherein said support structure is further endowed with means for absorbing the brought knock.
