SAFETY BASEBALL BAT
A safety basketball bat can prevent a broken section of a bat to fly out so a to prevent from dangerous accident. The safety basketball bat comprises: a bat body; a hollow channel penetrates through a top end and a distal end of the bat body; a tube body installed in the hollow channel; one opening at one end of the hollow channel being installed with an inner thread; a stop ring being installed at another opening at another end of the hollow channel; an outer diameter of the stop ring being larger than an outer diameter of the tube body; and a tightening cover with an outer thread engaged with the inner thread for tightening the tube body within the bat body. Or no stop ring is used. Two tightening covers are installed at two ends of the hollow channel.
The present invention relates to bats, in particular to a safety basketball bat which can prevent a broken section of a bat to fly out so a to prevent from dangerous accident.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTIONIt is often that the bat breaks when the player waves the bat. Possibly, the break section of the bat will beat somebody to induce accidents. Thus there are many designs aimed at improving the above mentioned defects for preventing the broken bat to fly out. In one prior art, a long channel is formed at a slender section of the bat and a rib is received in the channel for enhancing the structure of the bat.
However in the prior art, the rib in the channel is combined to the channel. Thus the prior art defect cannot be improved effectively.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTIONAccordingly, the object of the present invention is to provide a safety basketball bat which is made of wood or other material and which can prevent a broken section of a bat to fly out so a to prevent from dangerous accident. The safety basketball bat of the present invention comprises: a bat body; a hollow channel penetrating through a top end and a distal end of the bat body; a tube body installed in the hollow channel; one opening at one end of the hollow channel being installed with an inner thread; a stop ring being installed at another opening at another end of the hollow channel; an outer diameter of the stop ring being larger than an outer diameter of the tube body; and a tightening cover with an outer thread engaged with the inner thread for tightening the tube body within the bat body. Or no stop ring is used. Two tightening covers are installed at two ends of the hollow channel.
The various objects and advantages of the present invention will be more readily understood from the following detailed description when read in conjunction with the appended drawing.
In order that those skilled in the art can further understand the present invention, a description will be provided in the following in details. However, these descriptions and the appended drawings are only used to cause those skilled in the art to understand the objects, features, and characteristics of the present invention, but not to be used to confine the scope and spirit of the present invention defined in the appended claims.

Therefore, by the design of the present invention, when the bat body 1 breaks as the bat body 1 is waved, the break section of the bat body 1 will not fly out so as to achieve the object of safety in playing basketball.
The present invention is thus described, it will be obvious that the same may be varied in many ways. Such variations are not to be regarded as a departure from the spirit and scope of the present invention, and all such modifications as would be obvious to one skilled in the art are intended to be included within the scope of the following claims.
