Description
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

1. Field of Invention

The present invention relates to a toe-sock covering for an individual toe.

2. Description of Related Art

Socks are knitted or worn hosiery that may be worn over an individual's foot. Socks protect feet from chafing, absorbing perspiration, keeping feet warm and generally keeping feet comfortable throughout the day. Socks come in many styles and may extend from the ankle to the knee. Materials utilized to manufacture socks include cotton, wool, nylon, polyester or spandex to name a few. Socks usually cover the entire foot and some socks have been designed to encase individual toes. Such toe socks have a glove-type fit where compartments have been provided for each individual toe. Individual toe socks are often worn with sandals or flip-flops in order to showcase their unique style and provide a convenient means for the individual to wear the particular shoe of choice. Other toe socks include rubber-grip adhesive over the outside of the socks so that the socks may be worn as a house slipper or for specific activities such as yoga. The toe sock design remains essentially similar to a conventional sock where the sock includes individual compartments for each toe.
