Concealed glove pocket
A pocket in the shape of a glove made of fabric and intended to be sewn inside the front panel of a garment such as jeans, trousers, shorts and/or skirts, particularly useful to allow the wearer of the garment to place their hand inside the pocket and use their gloved fingers to touch, scratch and/or adjust their genitals comfortably while concealed from view by casual observers within close proximity.
1. Field of the Invention
The present invention relates to fabric pockets, more particularly to interior front pockets that are commonly sewn into garments such as jeans, trousers, shorts and/or skirts.

These patents suggest, of course, pockets which are superposed upon a garment to allow entry of the hand. However, none of the patents suggest an interior front pocket in the shape of a glove. Horwitz illustrates a web (A) which forms a separate pocket external to an inner pocket (B).
Michael, arguably the closest match with the present invention, illustrates a half-glove or half-mitten to be sewn to the exterior of a pair of jeans (for example, on the back pocket) to enable a person “other than the wearer” to insert his or her hand
The remaining pockets illustrate multiple pocket constructions. Tworoger illustrates a mitten-like pocket which is integrally formed within a jacket; yet not adapted to be added upon the posterior of a pair of jeans or the like. Rothman illustrates a multiple pocket construction which is integrally formed within an existing pocket on a pair of trousers, and is designed to hold small items (like writing pens) separately from the other pockets.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTIONIt is common for people, especially teenagers, to touch, scratch and/or adjust their genitals with their fingers while their hand is inserted in the front pocket of the garment they are wearing. The problem they face is twofold. First, conventionally shaped front pockets do not permit the wearer of the garment to touch, scratch and/or adjust their genitals in a non-restrictive and meaningful way. Second, conventionally shaped front pockets make it difficult to conceal from the view of others in close proximity the movement of the hand of the wearer of the garment when they touch, scratch and/or adjust their own genitals.
Conventional front pockets, such as those sewn into jeans, trousers, shorts and/or skirts are shaped like a small bag designed to hold small items like coins, keys, and of course, the human hand. Conventional front pockets do not afford freedom of movement of the garment wearer's hand, specifically their fingers, while the hand is confined within the front pocket. Conventional front pockets restrict the wearer of the garment from having the ability to articulate their fingers while touching, scratching and/or adjusting their genitals.
The present invention consists of a unique pocket design shaped like a glove to permit the wearer of the garment to insert their hand into the front pocket of the garment and have freedom of movement of their fingers to touch, scratch and/or adjust their genitals while concealed from view under the front panel of the garment, as set forth in the following specification.
The present invention will permit the wearer of the garment much greater freedom of movement with respect to the movement of their hand and fingers while inserted into the glove pocket. The present invention will permit the wearer of the garment to easily touch, scratch and/or adjust the wearer's genitals without said activity being obvious to a casual observer in close proximity.

The glove pocket can be constructed of a number of fabrics, or combinations thereof, including cotton, silk, satin, nylon, spandex and/or polyester.
In a first embodiment of the invention, the garment features two front pockets, one for the left hand and one for the right hand. Each pocket is designed to accept only the correct hand, be it a right hand or a left hand.

The glove pocket provides natural unrestrictive motion of the hand, especially the fingers and thumb. The glove pocket maximizes the range of motion of the palm, fingers and thumb to allow the wearer of the garment a greater freedom of movement of their hand while it is in their pocket.

1. A pocket made of fabric in the shape of a glove assembled by the stitched union of two patterned pieces each containing a plurality of independently extending tubular members extending from their respective lower halves, intended to be used as an interior front pocket for a garment of the type used for covering the lower half of the human body, such as jeans, trousers, shorts and/or skirts.
2. A pocket, according to claim 1, distinguished from other pockets by the fact that the shape of the pocket herein is in the form of a human hand, either a right hand, a left hand, or both.
