ROTATABLE MOP

A rotatable mop includes upper and lower rods, as well as a fixing seat sheathed between the upper and lower rods. The fixing seat contains a bolt and a sliding element screwed with the bolt. The sliding element is connected with a grip sheathed at an outer rim of the fixing seat, a bottom of the bolt is a shaft connected with a disc body having mop wool, brush wool or a brush cloth. When using the mop, by sliding up and down the grip along the fixing seat, the sliding element is driven to rotate the bolt clockwise or counterclockwise, such that the disc body rotates along a same direction, thereby constituting brushing to facilitate a cleaning operation. Additionally, a centrifugal force generated by rotation after using the mop spins dry water on the mop wool, brush wool or brush cloth, thereby dehydrating the mop more conveniently.

Description
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

a) Field of the Invention

The present invention relates to a rotatable mop, and more particularly to a rotatable mop which forms rotational brushing by an easy operation and is able to spin dry water attached after use, such that the mop can be dehydrated more conveniently.

b) Description of the Prior Art

When using a mop to wipe a floor, we usually soak mop wool in water and then brush on the floor back and forth, after that we will squeeze dry and re-soak the mop wool. As the mop wool will be rather heavy after being soaked in water, wiping the floor will be more laborious and each time after wiping, the mop wool needs to be squeezed dry by hands and then re-soaked, which requires much time and effort. Especially for a housewife with less strength, even a big trouble is formed while doing housework. Accordingly, an improved mop is provided after continuous research and experiments, such that wiping the floor with the mop and dehydrating the mop can be more convenient.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

The primary object of the present invention is to provide a rotatable mop which constitutes rotational brushing by an easy operation to facilitate a cleaning operation, and is able to spin dry water attached after use, thereby enabling the mop to be dehydrated more conveniently.

The aforementioned rotatable mop includes an upper rod, a lower rod and a fixing seat which is sheathed between the upper and lower rods, wherein an interior of the fixing seat is provided with a bolt and a sliding element which is screwed at the bolt, with the sliding element being connected with a grip which is sheathed at an outer rim of the fixing seat, a bottom of the bolt being pivoted with a shaft and the shaft being connected with a disc body having mop wool, brush wool or a brush cloth. When the mop is used, by sliding up and down the grip along the fixing seat, the sliding element is driven to rotate the bolt clockwise or counterclockwise, thereby driving the disc body to rotate along a same direction, so as to form brushing to facilitate the cleaning operation. In addition, after using the mop, water attached on the mop wool, brush wool or brush cloth is spun dry by a centrifugal force which is generated by rotation, thereby allowing the mop to be dehydrated more conveniently.

To enable a further understanding of the said objectives and the technological methods of the invention herein, the brief description of the drawings below is followed by the detailed description of the preferred embodiments.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS

Referring to FIG. 1 and FIG. 2 at a same time and in association with FIG. 3, the present invention comprises primarily an upper rod 1 and a lower rod 2 which can be sheathed together, as well as a fixing seat 3 which is connected with the upper and lower rods 1, 2. A bottom of the upper rod 1 is provided with a screwing part 11 which is protruded with an abutting block 12, with a cross section of the abutting block 12 being provided with a needle-shaped groove 121.

The lower rod 2 is transfixed with a shaft 21, a top of the shaft 21 is provided with a locking block 22 which is provided with a hexagonal groove 221 and a bottom of the locking block 22 is connected with the shaft 21, allowing the shaft 21 to protrude from a bottom of the lower rod 2. In addition, a position of the shaft 21 close to the bottom of the lower rod 2 is provided with a bearing 24 and a collar 25 which is sheathed at the lower rod 2.

The fixing seat 3 is a hollow tube and is provided with a symmetrical slot 30, an interior of the fixing seat 3 is provided with a bolt 31 and a sliding element 32 which is screwed at the bolt 31. Two ends of the bolt 31 are provided respectively with a bearing 33 and an upper and a lower end of the bolt 31 are provided respectively with a needle-shaped abutting pin 34 and a hexagonal spindle 35.

A grip 4 is sheathed at the fixing seat 3 and is locked at the sliding element 32 by passing screws into the slot 30 of the fixing seat 3.

Two sleeves 5, 6 are sheathed and fixed respectively at two ends of the fixing seat 3.

A disc seat 7 is provided with a cylindrical sheath part 71 at a center, the sheath part 71 is provided with a lock element 72 and a surface of the disc seat 7 is provided with plural through-holes 73. By sheathing the sheath part 71 with the shaft 21 of the lower rod 2 and then locking with the lock element 72, the sheath part 71 is fixed at the lower rod 2 to fix a disc body 8 which is provided with mop wool 81.

By the aforementioned structures, the upper rod 1 is locked at the sleeve 5 with the screwing part 11, allowing the abutting pin 34 at the upper end of the bolt 31 to abut with the groove 121 of the abutting block 12 of the upper rod 1. After the lower rod 2 has been sheathed in the sleeve 6, the spindle 35 at the bottom of the bolt 31 is latched in the groove 221 which is provided in the locking block 22 of the lower rod 2 and is locked by the collar 25, thereby constituting a mop. Therefore, when using the mop, by sliding the grip 4 up and down along the fixing seat 3, the sliding element 32 is driven to rotate the bolt 31 clockwise or counterclockwise and by transmission of the shaft 21, the disc seat 7 and the disc body 8 rotate along a same direction, thereby constituting rotational brushing to facilitate a cleaning operation. In addition, a centrifugal force which is generated by the rotation of the disc body 8 after using the mop, will spin dry water attached on the mop wool 81, thereby dehydrating the mop more conveniently.

When the aforementioned bolt 31 rotates, as two ends are provided respectively with the bearing 33 and the upper end is provided with the abutting pin 34, the abutting pin 34 can abut with the groove 121 of the abutting block 12 of the upper rod 1, thus allowing the bolt 31 to rotate more smoothly and flexibly.

Referring to FIG. 4, after being used, the mop of the present invention can be lifted up and suspended in an ordinary water bucket or sink. Then, the grip 4 is held by hands to slide up and down along the fixing seat 3 to drive the disc seat 7 and the disc body 8 to rotate clockwise or counterclockwise. By the centrifugal force generated by the rotation of the disc body 8, water attached on the mop wool 81 is spun dry, allowing the mop to be dehydrated more conveniently.

Referring to FIG. 5, a surface and a side of the disc body 8 can be provided respectively with mop wool 82, and the surface is provided with plural through-holes 83. In addition, a trumpet-shaped shade 9 is sheathed at the lower rod 2 to enclose the disc seat 7 and the disc body 8, and by sliding up and the down the grip 4 along the fixing seat 3, the disc seat 7 and the disc body 8 are driven to rotate clockwise or counterclockwise to wash a wall or glass. Furthermore, dirt which is brushed down while washing, drops into the shade 9 from the through-holes 73, 83 of the disc seat 7 and the disc body 8, to prevent from polluting ambient environment.

Referring to FIG. 6, the present invention can be provided with a rectangular seat 10 which includes a sheath part 101, the sheath part 101 is provided with a lock element 102, and the seat 101 can be provided respectively with brush wool 103, static cloth 104 or a plastic sheet 105. Similarly, by sliding up and down the grip 4 along the fixing seat 3, the seat 10 rotates clockwise or counterclockwise to brush and clean a floor, a glass door or a window.

Accordingly, the present invention provides a rotatable mop which is constituted by a transmission mechanism, such that more labor works can be saved while using the mop and water attached on the mop can be spun dry by an easy operation after using, thereby enabling the mop to be dehydrated more conveniently.

It is of course to be understood that the embodiments described herein is merely illustrative of the principles of the invention and that a wide variety of modifications thereto may be effected by persons skilled in the art without departing from the spirit and scope of the invention as set forth in the following claims.

Claims

1. A rotatable mop comprising:

an upper rod and a lower rod, with an interior of the lower rod being provided with a shaft and a fixing seat being provided with a symmetrical slot;
the fixing seat which is connected between the upper and lower rods and is a hollow tube;
a bolt, which is provided in the fixing seat, is screwed with a sliding element and a lower end of which is provided with a spindle to be connected with the shaft of the lower rod;
a grip, which is sheathed at the fixing seat and is locked at the sliding element by passing screws through the slot of the fixing seat; and
a disc seat which is fixed at a bottom of the shaft of the lower rod to sheath a disc body having mop wool or brush wool;
by the structures, a rotatable mop being constituted and when using the mop, by sliding up and down the grip along the fixing seat, the sliding element being driven to rotate the bolt clockwise or counterclockwise, allowing the disc seat and disc body to rotate along a same direction by transmission of the shaft, so as to constitute rotational brushing to facilitate a cleaning operation; in addition, by a centrifugal force generated by the rotation of the disc body after using the mop, water attached on the mop wool or the brush wool being spun dry, thereby enabling the mop to be dehydrated more conveniently.

The rotatable mop according to claim 1, wherein a bottom of the upper rod is provided with a protruded abutting block, a cross section of the abutting block is provided with a needle-shaped groove and an upper end of the bolt is provided with an abutting pin which is abutted with the groove, allowing the bolt to rotate smoothly and flexibly.

3. The rotatable mop according to claim 1, wherein a top of the shaft of the lower rod is provided with a locking block which includes a groove to latch and fix the spindle of the bolt.

The rotatable mop according to claim 1, wherein the lower rod is further provided with a trumpet-shaped shade, the disc seat and the disc body are provided with plural through-holes, such that dirt which is brushed down drops into the shade from the through-holes of the disc seat and the disc body while washing a wall or glass, thereby preventing from polluting ambient environment.

5. The rotatable mop according to claim 1, wherein the disc seat is a rectangular seat which is provided with brush wool, static cloth or a plastic sheet to brush and clean a floor, a glass door or a window.
