Description
FIELD OF THE INVENTION

The present invention relates to a cigar tube, in particular to a length-adjustable cigar tube which is length-adjustable so as to suit for various sizes of cigars. Furthermore, the cigar tube can emit clear and sharp sounds so as to provide a pleasure feeling to users.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

A conventional cigar tube generally includes a body having a closed bottom and an open top, and a cap which is removably mounted to the open top of the body. A cigar can be received in the body and the cap is mounted to the body to prevent the cigar from being accessed by dust and moisture. The conventional cigar tube is simply a tube that has a fixed size. In order to let the user to receive the cigar with different length, manufacturers usually make the cigar tube as large as possible so that a small cigar can be received. It is obvious that when a cigar with small size is received in the cigar tube, the cigar is not well positioned in the tube so that it will impact an inside of the tube and will be deformed.

In one prior art about the cigar tube, U.S. Pat. No. 6,290,059, a cigar receiving tube is disclosed, which includes a first tube having two open ends and each open end has a protrusion extending radially outward from an outside thereof. Two second tubes are respectively movably mounted to the tow open ends of the first tube and a collar extends radially inward from an inside of a first end of each of the two second tubes to prevent the second tubes from being separated from the first tube when pulling the second tubes. Each second tube has a cap mounted thereto so that the length of the cigar receiving tube can be adjusted according to the length of the cigar to be received in the cigar tube.

However the prior art cigar tube has a fixed length which is not suitable for various sizes of cigars.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

Accordingly, the primary object of the present invention is to provide a cigar tube which is length-adjustable so as to suit for various sizes of cigars. Furthermore, the cigar tube can emit clear and sharp sounds so as to provide a pleasure feeling to users.

To achieve above objects, the present invention provides a length-adjustable cigar tube, comprising: a tube body having a hollow center for receiving at least one cigar; the tube body being a round cylinder; one end of the tube body having an opening and other portion of the tube is sealed; an upper edge of the tube body having a flange and a recess on an outer side of the tube body and being below the flange; the tube body being made of plastic material; a cover being a tubular structure and having a cylindrical shape; the upper lateral side of the cover being formed with a recess; the cover having a hollow interior; the hollow interior of the cover being formed with three shallow trenches; each trench having an annular shape and being a round cycle; the cover being made of plastic material; an inner diameter of the cover being slightly greater than an outer diameter of the tube body so that the tube body can be received into the cover tightly and the flange of the tube body being matched to one of the three trenches of the cover.

The various objects and advantages of the present invention will be more readily understood from the following detailed description when read in conjunction with the appended drawing.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS

FIG. 1 shows the exploded perspective view of the cigar tube of the present invention.

FIG. 2 is a cross sectional view showing the cigar tube of the present invention.

FIG. 3 is a perspective view showing that a cigar is placed in the tube body of the present invention.

FIG. 4 is an assembly view of the cigar tube of the present invention.

FIG. 5 is a cross sectional view of the present invention, in that a cigar is placed in the cigar tube of the present invention.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

In order that those skilled in the art can further understand the present invention, a description will be provided in the following in details. However, these descriptions and the appended drawings are only used to cause those skilled in the art to understand the objects, features, and characteristics of the present invention, but not to be used to confine the scope and spirit of the present invention defined in the appended claims.

A cigar tube of the present invention is illustrated in FIGS. 1 and 2, wherein FIG. 1 is an exploded view of the present invention and FIG. 2 is a cross sectional view of the present invention. The detailed structure of the tube will be described herein.

A tube body 2 has a hollow center 25 for receiving at least one cigar. The tube body 2 is a round cylinder. One end of the tube body has an opening 26 and other portion of the tube is sealed. An upper edge of the tube body 2 has a flange 21 and a recess 22 on the outer side of the tube body 2 and is below the flange 21. The tube body 2 is made of plastic material.

A cover 1 is a tubular structure and has a cylindrical shape. The upper lateral side of the cover 1 is formed with a recess 12. The cover 1 has a hollow interior 15. The hollow interior 15 of the cover 1 is formed with three shallow trenches 12, 13 and 14. Each trench 12, 13, and 14 has an annular shape and is a round cycle. The cover 1 is made of plastic material. An inner diameter of the cover 1 is slightly greater than an outer diameter of the tube body 2 so that the tube body 2 can be received into the cover 1 tightly and the flange 21 of the tube body 2 is matched to the three trenches 12, 13, 14 of the cover 1.

It should be emphasized that the preferred size of the cigar tube of the present invention is about 25 cm in length and 2.5 cm in diameter which are suitable for receiving a cigar.

One assembly view of the present invention is illustrated in FIG. 4. As the tube body 2 is pulled out from the cover 1, when the flange 21 passes through the trenches, a clear and sharp sound will emit. As the flange 21 passes through the trench 14 nearest an opening 16 of the cover 1, the tube body 2 will emit a loud and sharp sound which makes people feel easy and be inspired.

The operation of the present invention will be described herein with referring to FIGS. 3, 4 and 5, it is illustrated that a cigar 3 is placed within the tube body 2. The cover 1 is engaged to the tube body 2 with the flange 21 of the tube body 2 is engaged to the trench 14 at the interior surface of the cover 1. When the user desires to take the cigar 3 out of the tube body 2, the user will draw out the cover 1 from the tube body 2. In the drawing process, the cover passes through the trench so as to emit a clear and sharp voice. Then at the final stage, the flange 21 will leave from the opening 16 of the cover 1, it will emit a loud and clear voice so as to make the user feel pleasure.

The present invention is thus described, it will be obvious that the same may be varied in many ways. Such variations are not to be regarded as a departure from the spirit and scope of the present invention, and all such modifications as would be obvious to one skilled in the art are intended to be included within the scope of the following claims.
