Description
FIELD OF THE INVENTION

The present invention relates to an embroidery thread organizing card, and more particularly to an embroidery thread organizing card being provided with corresponding thread and embroidering information for sorting and organizing differently colored embroidery threads, allowing users to conveniently and correctly locate desired embroidery threads.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

With the popularization of DIY (do it yourself), many half-finished products serving as material for DIY are available in the gift market now. A user can purchase such half-finished products and use them to produce desired DIY gifts in an easy, convenient and quick manner. The user can also extend personal ideas in the DIY gifts to make them unique.

Among others, cross-stitch embroidery has been used in producing unique DIY crafts. Cross-stitch is a popular form of counted-thread embroidery in which x-shaped stitches are used to form a picture. Cross-stitch is usually executed on easily countable even-weave fabric. The embroiderer stitches in each direction so as to form the picture. Nowadays, needlecraft kits for cross-stitch are readily available in the market. It is no doubt the best choice for both a green hand and a skilled embroiderer of cross-stitch to purchase a needlecraft kit for producing a DIY cross-stitch work.

The needlecraft kits available in the market usually include woolen yarns, embroidery threads, embroidery needles, a piece of Aida cloth, an instruction sheet, and a cross stitch pattern. These items are usually arbitrarily disposed in a clear polybag, a paper box, or a blister package while the embroidery threads and the woolen yarns are separately tied into bundles or extended through a blank card with a hole.

In practical use of the needlecraft kit, the user has to begin from the most difficult procedure of sorting and organizing embroidery threads. That is, the user has to sort the bundles of colorful and mixed embroidery threads and woolen yarns according to their colors, and carefully compares different threads and yarns with the color codes shown in an instruction sheet, so as to identify the correct color, stitching, number of strands, representing symbol on the embroidery pattern for each of the threads and/or yarns. With a highly complicated cross stitch pattern, the quantity of supplied embroidery threads and woolen yarns is also increased, and the user has to take more time to sort and organize the threads and yarns. Meanwhile, for some extremely fine design, the supplied embroidery threads and woolen yarns are so close in color that a user can hardly distinguish them with bare eyes. Therefore, the user would very possibly make mistake in sorting and organizing the threads and yarns and use wrong color threads and yarns in embroidering to result in an imperfect embroidery work. Sometimes, the user has to purchase additional needlecraft kits or threads and yarns in order to complete the embroidery work. Thus, the conventional needlecraft kits with disorderly packed embroidery threads and woolen yarns actually bring a lot of troubles to users in doing the DIY embroidery works, and also form a hindrance to prevent the manufacturers and dealers from expanding their business.

Further, the currently available needlecraft kits all include an instruction sheet. All information related to the embroidery, such as the thread color, the stitches to be used, the symbols shown on the embroidery pattern, the strands of threads to be used, or the special skill of mixing threads, is printed on the instruction sheet. The user has to check the instruction sheet to sort and organize the threads, to locate the correct thread from the bundles before embroidering, to confirm the correct stitch and the symbol on the pattern representing the thread, and to check the pattern for the positions of stitching the thread. All these complicated procedures tend to cause errors in doing the embroidery. It is therefore desirable to improve the embroidery thread packaging manner in the existing needlecraft kits for cross stitch.
