SCARF ALLOWING CHANGEFUL STYLING POSSIBILITIES

Abstract

A scarf allowing changeful styling possibilities includes a main body in the form of a long hollow sleeve, which is formed by weaving or sewing. The main body has two opposite ends separately defining a first and a second opening communicable with each other, and is provided at a middle portion with a third opening communicable with the first and the second opening. A user can wear the scarf in changeful manners by, for example, extending his or her head through the first opening and out of the third opening, and then wind the other end having the second opening around the neck, or put the other end over the head, or extend one arm through the other end and out of the second opening to create unique personalized styling effect.

Description

FIELD OF THE INVENTION

The present invention relates to a scarf allowing changeful styling possibilities, and more particularly to a scarf that allows a user to easily change the wearing manner thereof to thereby create unique and personalized styling effect.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

A scarf is mainly used to protect a wearer against cold and further keep the wearer warm. However, with different materials used, different textures, colors and patterns shown, and different manners of wearing, the scarf can also serve as an ideal decoration or ornament to the apparel to create a unique styling effect for the wearer. Conventionally, the scarf is produced by knitting cotton, silk or other suitable material into a long strip. Therefore, the conventional scarf is usually worn by winding or wrapping it around the wearer's neck. While there are many different wearing manners developed for the conventional scarf, the simple long strip form of the conventional scarf largely restricts the wearer from creating more changeful styling possibilities.

It is therefore desirable to develop a scarf having a structural design different from the conventional strip-shaped scarf, so that the scarf can be worn in more different manners to create unique and personalized styling effect.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

A primary object of the present invention is to provide a scarf allowing changeful styling possibilities, which has a special structural design to allow a user to wear it in manners other than just winding it around the neck and therefore allows the creation of a unique and personalized styling effect.

To achieve the above and other objects, the scarf allowing changeful styling possibilities according to the present invention includes a main body in the form of a long hollow sleeve. The main body has two opposite ends separately defining a first and a second opening communicable with each other, and is provided at a middle portion with a third opening communicable with the first and the second opening.

In addition to the conventional ways of wearing a scarf, a user can wear the scarf of the present invention in many other changeful manners. For example, the user can extend his or her head through the first opening and out of the third opening, so that the main body of the scarf is primarily wound around the user's neck. Then, the user can pull the other end of the main body with the second opening to cover the user's head, so that the main body serves as a hood; or alternatively, the user can then extend one arm through the other end and out of the second opening to cover the arm with the main body to create a unique and personalized style; or, the user can further wind the other end of the main body around the neck. Therefore, unique and personalized styling effect can be created using the scarf of the present invention.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS

Please refer to FIG. 1 that is a perspective view of a scarf allowing changeful styling possibilities according to a preferred embodiment of the present invention. As shown, the scarf includes a scarf main body 1 in the form of a long hollow sleeve. The main body 1 has two opposite ends, one of which defines a first opening 2 while the other one of which defines a second opening 3. The first opening 2 and the second opening 3 are communicable with each other. The main body 1 is provided at a middle portion with a third opening 4, which can be in a round, an oblong, or any other regular or irregular geometrical shape, such that the third opening 4 is communicable with the first and the second opening 2, 3. The main body 1 can be formed by weaving or knitting pure or blended cotton, silk, nylon or flax threads, or by sewing pure or blended cotton, silk, nylon or linen fabrics, such that the formed main body 1 for the scarf of the present invention has the above-described first, second, and third openings 2, 3 and 4. Decorative or ornamental structures, such as fringes, tassels or hairy balls, can be provided along peripheral edges of the first and/or the second opening 2, 3 to give the main body 1 different appearances.

The scarf of the present invention can be worn around a user's neck in many unique manners different from the ways of wearing a conventional scarf. FIG. 2 shows a first exemplary manner of wearing the scarf of the present invention. In this first wearing manner, a user first extends his or her head through the first opening 2 of the main body 1 and then exposes the head from the third opening 4 at the middle portion of the main body 1, so that the main body 1 is primarily wound around the user's neck. Then, the user can pull the other end of the main body 1 with the second opening 3 to cover his or her head, as shown in FIG. 3, so that the scarf serves as a hood to cover not only the user's neck but also the head to provide better warm-keeping effect and create a unique styling effect. Alternatively, after the user's head is extended through the first opening 2 and then exposed from the third opening 4 for the main body 1 of the scarf to primarily wind around the user's neck, the user can further extend one arm through the third opening 4 and out of the second opening 3, as shown in FIG. 4, so that the main body 1 of the scarf is wound around the user's neck and one arm to create another unique styling effect. Alternatively, after the user's head is extended through the first opening 2 and then exposed from the third opening 4 for the main body 1 of the scarf to primarily wind around the user's neck, the user can further pull and wind the other end of the main body 1 around the user's neck, as shown in FIG. 5, so that the whole main body 1 of the scarf is wound around the user's neck.

FIGS. 6 and 7 show a second exemplary manner of wearing the scarf of the present invention. In the second wearing manner, the user first extends one end of the main body 1 having the second opening 3 through the third opening 4 at the middle portion of the main body 1 into the other end having the first opening 2, as shown in FIG. 6, so that the second opening 3 is received in the first opening 2 in an overlapping relation and the scarf looks like a double-layered hat, as shown in FIG. 7. Then, the user can put on the double-layered hat-like scarf by extending the user's head into the overlapped first and second openings 2 and 3, as shown in FIG. 8, so as to create another unique styling effect. Alternatively, the user can put the overlapped first and second openings 2, 3 around the neck with his or her face exposed from an opening 5 formed at the bent middle portion with the third opening 4, as shown in FIG. 9, so as to create another form of hood for covering the user's neck and head at the same time.

With the special structural design of the scarf of the present invention, a user can wear the scarf in different manners to create personalized styles.

The present invention provides a scarf having a sleeve-shaped main body with two opposite openings and a middle opening, allowing a user to wear the scarf in free manners to cover the neck, the head and/or the arm while showing unique and personalized styling effect. Therefore, the present invention is novel, improved, and practical for use to created additional value. And, products derived from the present invention would no doubt satisfy the market demands.

The present invention has been described with some preferred embodiments thereof and it is understood that many changes and modifications in the described embodiments can be carried out without departing from the scope and the spirit of the invention that is intended to be limited only by the appended claims.

Claims

1. A scarf allowing changeful styling possibilities, comprising a main body in the form of a long hollow sleeve, the main body having two opposite ends, one of which defining a first opening while the other one of which defining a second opening; the first opening and the second opening being communicable with each other; and the main body being provided at a middle portion with a third opening, which is communicable with the first and the second opening.
