Description
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION Technical Field

The present invention relates to a window shielding apparatus, and more specifically, to a window shielding apparatus having a beautiful curtain sheet as easily controlling the ventilating and shielding degrees of the curtain sheet.

Background Art

A window shielding apparatus is used for interior design as well as the shielding and controlling purposes of lightness or privacy protection. There are diverse types of window shielding apparatuses, such as curtains, vertical blinds, blinders, Roman shades, window tinting, roll screens, etc. Consumers buy the desired products in consideration of the usage purposes, window structure, and their own tastes to install these products.

Among them, a roll screen is a window shielding apparatus which controls high and low of the piece of the screen by rolling up or unrolling down the piece of the screen which functions as a curtain. Such a roll screen controls a blinding degree by adjusting the piece of the screen in vertical direction. For perfect blinding, the piece of the screen has to be unrolled down up to the lower section of a window, while the piece of the screen should be rolled up to the upper section of the window to fully release the blinded state. And, if the user wants a partial blinding state, the user can roll up the piece of the screen until a desired random position only. However, such a roll screen has inconvenience that the user has to pull down an elevating chain to fully open or fully shut the piece of the screen.

Besides, a blind of the window shielding apparatuses shields sunlight by binding louvers made of thin and narrow metal plates, wood plates, and plastic plates, at certain intervals to hang down the bound louvers, so that the user can control inclination of a blind plate according to the angle of a ray and tuck the overall blind when necessary by using a string that adjusts inclination of the plate and a string that rolls up the overall blind. Though blinds are used for office windows a lot, in recent years, as blinds made of various materials such as cloth and paper have emerged, a lot of blinds are being used even for home decoration. A general blind consists of a rotative lever for integratedly rotating plural louvers per unit and an operating rope for vertically moving the respective louvers, in separate ways. As a result, brightness controlling is complicated and the blind is heavier than a roll screen.

As a window shielding apparatus having the good points only of the blind and the roll screen equipped with good and weak points, there is a blind where a front mesh-type curtain sheet, a rear mesh-type curtain sheet, and a lightproof curtain sheet for blocking light are integrally connected together. But, when the front mesh-type curtain sheet and the rear mesh-type curtain sheet for ventilation are disposed front and back together for the purpose of ventilation and floodlighting, glimmering phenomena occur, only to make the weary eyes.

DISCLOSURE Technical Problem

It is therefore an object of the present invention to provide a triple curtain sheet and a window shielding apparatus thereof which can more easily control the ventilating and shielding degrees even without glimmering phenomena in the eyes caused by overlapping of a mesh sheet.

Technical Solution

To accomplish the above object, the present invention provides a triple curtain sheet for a window shielding apparatus, and wherein when a plurality of blind covers(12) are accumulated on a basic mesh sheet(10), each of upper connecting portions(16) of the plural blind covers(12) opened to a lower side is connected to the basic mesh sheet(10) in crossed-weaving type with textile yarns of the mesh sheet, and a plurality of mutually separated opening/closing-type longitudinal yarns(14) are configured on each lower ream(18) of the blind covers(12) in order to be woven on and combined with textile yarns of the blind covers.

Also, the present invention provides a window shielding apparatus, and wherein when a plurality of blind covers(12) are accumulated on a basic mesh sheet(10), each of upper connecting portions(16) of the plural blind covers(12) opened to a lower side is connected to the basic mesh sheet(10) in crossed-weaving type with textile yarns of the mesh sheet, and a plurality of mutually separated opening/closing-type longitudinal yarns(14) are configured on each lower ream(18) of the blind covers(12) in order to be woven on and combined with textile yarns of the blind covers, thereby configuring a triple curtain sheet(2), then when the triple curtain sheet(2) is combined with or fixed to a horizontal slit coupling groove(32) of an axially rotatable driving axial bar(30) between both brackets(24) of a frame(20), a window shielding apparatus(A) is configured by inserting/fixing the blind covers(12) and the basic mesh sheet(10) of the triple curtain sheet(2) into a rear side of the horizontal slit coupling groove(32) and by inserting/fixing the opening/closing-type longitudinal yarns(14) into a front side of the horizontal slit coupling groove(32).

It should be understood that in this description, the plural blind covers made of fiber to cover the basic mesh sheet(10) are called the ‘blind covers(12)’.

ADVANTAGEOUS EFFECT

The present invention can more easily control ventilation/floodlighting degrees as well as blinding effect even without glimmering phenomena in the eyes since a mesh sheet is not overlapped, and can add a beauty of decoration by using blind covers or opening/closing-type longitudinal yarns, resulting in a beautiful curtain sheet.

MODE FOR INVENTION

The present invention will now be described more fully hereinafter with reference to the accompanying drawings, in which preferred embodiments of the invention are shown.

FIG. 1 is a perspective view of a triple curtain sheet for a window shielding apparatus in accordance with an embodiment of the present invention, and FIG. 2 is a perspective view of expanding a principal part of FIG. 1.

A triple curtain sheet(2) for the window shielding apparatus in accordance with the embodiment of the present invention is completed by integratedly weaving a basic mesh sheet(10), a plurality of blind covers(12), and opening/closing-type longitudinal yarns(14) by using textile yarns.

Like shown in FIG. 1 and FIG. 2, the plurality of the blind covers(12) are accumulated on the basic mesh sheet(10) so as to be arranged in horizontal direction, and at this time, each of the blind covers(12) is opened to a lower side while upper connecting portions(16) thereof are crossly woven with textile yarns of the basic mesh sheet(10) located on the bottom, thus the upper connecting portions are integrally connected with the basic mesh sheet(10). Besides, a plurality of mutually separated opening/closing-type longitudinal yarns(14) are integrally connected on lower reams(18) of the blind covers(12), which are opened to the lower side and arranged in the horizontal direction, by being crossly woven with textile yarns of the lower reams of the blind covers(12).

The basic mesh sheet(10) is woven as a mesh with the textile yarns having a thickness of 70 to 100 deniers to form a floodlighting portion of the triple curtain sheet(2), and the blind covers(12) are densely woven with the textile yarns having a thickness of 300 to 600 deniers to form blind portions of the triple curtain sheet(2). And, the opening/closing-type longitudinal yarns(14) are opening/closing-type working yarns for opening up or closing down the blind covers(12) covered on the basic mesh sheet(14), and are made of complex yarns with a good tensile strength while thickness thereof is between 200 and 3000 deniers.

The textile yarns of the blind covers(12), for example, can use slub yarns, and it is desirable to use LM yarns for the lower reams(18) of the blind covers(12) instead of using slub yarns. The LM yarns are in sheath/core structure, and external sheath parts thereof are made of low-fusion-point poly ester which can be fused and bonded at approximately 120° C.-80° C. degrees. Therefore, when thermal treatment is applied after the triple curtain sheet(2) of the present invention is completely woven, the lower reams(18) of the blind covers(12) are melted to stick to each other owing to the LM yarns, resulting in stiffness suitable for a window covering purpose. Moreover, it can get rid of thread-unloosing in the lower reams(18) of the blind covers(12) opened to the lower side, while the crossly-woven opening/closing-type longitudinal yarns(14) can be bonded with the lower reams(18).

In the meantime, instead of using the complex yarns, the above opening/closing-type longitudinal yarns(14) can employ special yarns such as 200 to 3000 deniers of chanel yarns, wing yarns, tear yarns, spangle yarns, and woolen yarns. When the above special yarns such as the chanel yarns, the wing yarns, the tear yarns, and the spangle yarns are used for the opening/closing type-type longitudinal yarns(14), decoration effect can be given to the triple curtain sheet(2) and it is possible to firmly conduct weaving connection with textile yarns which constitute the lower reams(18) of the blind covers(12) thanks to a thick diameter and a large surface contact resistance caused by a material itself.

For instance, though it is desirable to longitudinally form the aforementioned opening/closing-type longitudinal yarns(14) at 2 cm to 4 cm intervals, they can be longitudinally formed at denser or sparser intervals when necessary, for example, according to thickness or type of the longitudinal yarns or an esthetic sense.

When the opening/closing-type longitudinal yarns(14) are pulled up in the triple curtain sheet(2) configured like above, the lower reams(18) of all of the blind covers(12) are lifted up to show the basic mesh sheet(10), thereby forming a floodlighting portion on the triple curtain sheet(2). And, when the pulled-up opening/closing-type longitudinal yarns(14) are put down, the lower reams(18) of all of the blind covers(12) are lifted down to form blind portions by the blind covers(12).

It is possible to weave the triple curtain sheet(2) of the present invention by using two beams or a single beam and a creel. One beam is used to weave the blind covers(12) and the basic mesh sheet(10) for constituting the triple curtain sheet(2), and the other beam or the creel is used to allow the opening/closing-type longitudinal yarns(14), which constitute the triple curtain sheet(2), to be woven with the blind covers(12).

FIG. 3 shows a one-repeat weaving diagram of a triple curtain sheet(2) in accordance with an embodiment of the present invention.

In the weaving diagram of FIG. 3, ‘pi(‘i’ is a natural number)’ refers to a warp, and ‘tj(‘j’ is a natural number)’ refers to a weftknit, then ‘X’ indicates that the warp is up on the weftknit while no indication means that the warp is down on the weftknit. Moreover, the triple curtain sheet(2) of the present invention is substantially woven in turn-over state. That is to say, the opening/closing-type longitudinal yarns(14) are woven to be located in the utmost bottom part.

Sectors ‘S1’ and ‘S3’ indicate parts where the basic mesh sheet(10), the blind covers(12), and the opening/closing-type longitudinal yarns(14) are independently woven on the triple curtain sheet(2), and sectors ‘S2’ and ‘S4’ refer to parts where the basic mesh sheet(10) and the blind covers(12) are woven through united connection on the triple curtain sheet(2) while the blind covers(12) and the opening/closing-type longitudinal yarns(14) are woven through united connection. Then, it is to be understood that the corresponding parts of each sector are woven by being continuously repeated more than tens of times.

Among the warps ‘pi(i=1˜7)’ of the sectors ‘S1’ to ‘S4’, a warp ‘p6’ can be the opening/closing-type longitudinal yarns(14). The warp ‘p6’ is in only down state with being never up in the sectors ‘S1’ and ‘S3’, and it is shown that the warp ‘p6’ is woven in combination with warps and weftknits of the blind covers as being once crossed to the up state in down state in the sectors ‘S2’ and ‘S4’.

Among the warps ‘pi(i=1˜7)’, ‘p4’ of the sector ‘S1’ and ‘p2’ and ‘p5’ of the sector ‘S3’ are maintained in up state only, without being crossed with weftknits up and down, but ‘p2’ and ‘p5’ in the sectors ‘S2’ and ‘S4’, which form connecting portions, are partially crossed-woven with the weftknits. And, the warps('p4′ of the sector ‘S1’ and ‘p2’ and ‘p5’ of the sector ‘S3’), which have been maintained in up state, are sheared after the triple curtain sheet(2) is woven.

The weftknits ‘tj’ in the sectors ‘S1’ and ‘S3’ are crossly woven with the warps as being continuously supplied to some parts, where the blind covers(12) and the basic mesh sheet(10) are formed, but the weftknits are not supplied to other parts, where the opening/closing-type longitudinal yarns(14) are configured. Namely, blank knitting is carried out without supplying the weftknits on the other beam or creel.

Therefore, while the basic mesh sheet(10) and the blind covers(12) are individually woven in independent warp/weftknit cross-weaving type in the sectors ‘S1’ and ‘S3’, there is no cross-weaving with the weftknits(blank weftknitting) on the opening/closing-type longitudinal yarns(14), the warp ‘p6’.

The triple curtain sheet(2) is collectively woven through the above weaving operation, and the warps('p4′ of the sector ‘S1’ and ‘p2’ and ‘p5’ of the sector ‘S3’) maintained in the up state only are sheared and thermally compressed. Accordingly, the longitudinal yarns(14) are fusion-spliced on the lower reams(18) of the blind covers(12).

FIG. 4 shows a perspective view of a window shielding apparatus having a triple curtain sheet in accordance with an embodiment of the present invention, and FIG. 5 and FIG. 6 show side sectional views of FIG. 4 while FIG. 7 shows a state plane figure of FIG. 5.

A triple curtain sheet(2) manufactured in the same type as FIG. 1 and FIG. 2 is combined with or fixed to a horizontal slit coupling groove(32) of an axially rotatable driving axial bar(30) between both brackets(24) of a frame(20) of a window shielding apparatus(A) like shown in FIG. 4. The window shielding apparatus(A) is configured by inserting/fixing blind covers(12) and a basic mesh sheet(10) of the triple curtain sheet(2) into a rear side of the horizontal slit coupling groove(32) and by inserting/fixing the opening/closing-type longitudinal yarns(14) into a front side of the horizontal slit coupling groove(32). Then, elevation controlling ropes(36) are engaged with a chain wheel(34) combined with one side end of the driving axial bar(30), so that the triple curtain sheet(2) is elevated up and down when a user pulls the elevation controlling ropes(36). For instance, when the user pulls a rear rope of the elevation controlling ropes(36), the triple curtain sheet(2) is lifted down by being released from the rotated driving axial bar(30), and if the user pulls a front rope of the elevation controlling ropes(36), the triple curtain sheet(2) is rolled up on the reversely-rotated driving axial bar(30).

If the rear rope of the elevation controlling ropes(36) is further pulled when the triple curtain sheet(2) is fully lifted down, the blind covers(12) and the basic mesh sheet(10) combined with the driving axial bar(30) move to a rear side while at the same time, the opening/closing-type longitudinal yarns(14) combined with the driving axial bar(30) move to a front side, like shown in the side sectional view of FIG. 5. As a result, the opening/closing-type longitudinal yarns(14) lift up reams(18) of all of the blind covers(12). Thus, the basic mesh sheet(10) hidden by the blind covers(12) is exposed to form a floodlighting portion on the triple curtain sheet(2) like shown in FIG. 4, FIG. 5, and FIG. 7.

Likewise, if the front rope of the elevation controlling ropes(36) is slightly pulled when the floodlighting portion is formed on the triple curtain sheet(2), the blind covers(12) and the basic mesh sheet(10) combined with the driving axial bar(30) move to an upper side while at the same time, the opening/closing-type longitudinal yarns(14) combined with the driving axial bar(30) move to a lower side, like shown in FIG. 6. Accordingly, the opening/closing-type longitudinal yarns(14) release the reams(18) of all of the blind covers(12), so that the blind covers(12) are closed to the bottom. Therefore, the floodlighting portion of the basic mesh sheet(10) is converted into a blind portion by being covered with the blind covers(12).

The window shielding apparatus(A) equipped with the triple curtain sheet(2) of the present invention has good ventilation/floodlighting properties because only the basic mesh sheet(10) and the sparse opening/closing-type longitudinal yarns(14) exist during the formation of the floodlighting portion. Also, it is possible for a manufacturer to give a beauty of decoration by using the blind covers(12) or the opening/closing-type longitudinal yarns(14), thereby beautifully decorating the appearance of a curtain sheet.

In accordance with the provisions of the patent statutes, the present invention has been described in what is considered to represent its preferred embodiment. However, it should be noted that the invention can be practiced otherwise than as specifically illustrated and described without departing from its spirit or scope.
