DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENT

FIGS. 1 through 4 show a display container 10 for a polyurethane product 20 in accordance with a first embodiment of the present invention. The display container 10 includes a space enclosed by first edge 101 and second edge 102 thereof. The space defines a receiving section 11 the polyurethane product 20 is received therein when it is stored in the display container 10. The first edge 101 has a width defined between an inner periphery thereof that delimits the receiving section 11 partially and an outer periphery thereof that delimits a circumference of the display container 10 partially. Moreover, the receiving section 11 where the first edge 101 surrounds provides a sealed closure. Therefore, the first edge 101 can not allow the polyurethane product 20 to insert into the receiving section 11. In the preferred embodiment, the first edge 101 includes two opposing portions in a spaced relationship and a portion extending therebetween and joins the two opposing portions to form a continuous edge. Additionally, the second edge 102 defines an opening 12 thereon, and therefore, the polyurethane product 20 can be inserted into the receiving section 11 through the opening 12.

After the polyurethane product 20 is disposed in the receiving section 11, a vacuumizing device 30 is inserted from outside into the receiving section 11 through the opening 12 and is partially disposed outside the display container 10 and is partially disposed in the receiving section 11. The vacuumizing device 30 is used to vacuumize the receiving section 11 so that the polyurethane product 20 is prevented from oxidization. Additionally, the opening 12 is adapted to be reduced to a size that just enables the insertion of the vacuumizing device 30 (as shown in FIG. 2). After vacuumizing the receiving section 11, a sealing device (not shown) is used to make the second edge 102 close the opening 12 (as shown in FIG. 4). FIG. 4 also shows the sealing device creates a sealed edge 103 having a width defined between an inner periphery thereof that delimits the receiving section 11 partially and an outer periphery defined from the second edge 102 and in which the second edge 102 cooperates with the outer periphery of the first edge 11 to delimit the circumference of the display container 10. Therefore, the polyurethane product 20 is stored in a vacuumized condition and is prevented from being deteriorated due to oxidization. Preferably, the sealing device applies a thermal seal process to close the opening 12.

In addition, the polyurethane product 20 is disposed in a center of the receiving section 11 so it is equally distanced from the any portion of the first edge 101. Consequently, vacuumizing of the receiving section 11 can be accomplished successfully and easily. Furthermore, the polyurethane product 20 referred to hereinwith mainly consists of polyurethane rubber which has high-endurance, and high-durability characteristics and excellent solvent resistance. Specifically, it has 600%-800% elongation, and 2-10 times better abrasion resistance and solvent resistance than natural rubber. Additionally, the polyurethane product 20 is in a form of a strap and is flexible enough to be rolled into a coil which includes a series of concentric circles. Consequently, the polyurethane product 20 does not occupy a large space of the receiving section 11.

FIGS. 5 and 6 show a second embodiment of the present invention. The second embodiment is a display container set 100a including a plurality of display containers 10a detachably engaged together in a row. Each of the display containers 10a includes a first edge 101a having a width defined between an inner periphery thereof that delimits the receiving section 11a partially and an outer periphery thereof that delimits a circumference of the display container partially, with the first edge 101a providing a sealed closure, and a second edge 102a cooperating with the outer periphery of the first edge to delimit the circumference of the display container. Also, each of the display containers 10a is similar to the display container 10 and includes a polyurethane product 20 received therein. Each polyurethane product 20 is disposed in a center of a receiving section 11a of the display container 10a. The polyurethane products 20 are stored in a vacuumized condition and are prevented from being deteriorated due to oxidization. Further, a connecting edge 40a is defined on a portion of the outer periphery of the first edge 101a of each display container 10a. The connecting edges 40a of two adjacent display containers 10a are engaged with each other, and therefore, the two display containers 10a are attached to one another. Additionally, the two display containers 10a are adapted to be separated form each other by disengaging from the connecting edges 40a. In the preferred embodiment, the connecting edge 40a for each display container 10a is in a serrated form which includes a series of consecutive teeth.

FIGS. 7 and 8 show a third embodiment of the present invention. The third embodiment is a display container set 100b including a plurality of display containers 10b detachably engaged together in a column. Each of the display containers 10b includes a first edge 101b having a width defined between an inner periphery thereof that delimits the receiving section 11b partially and an outer periphery thereof that delimits a circumference of the display container partially, with the first edge 101b providing a sealed closure, and a second edge 102b cooperating with the outer periphery of the first edge to delimit the circumference of the display container. Also, each of the display containers 10b is similar to the display container 10 and includes a polyurethane product 20 received therein. Each polyurethane product 20 is disposed in a center of a receiving section 11b of the display container 10b. The polyurethane products 20 are stored in a vacuumized condition and are prevented from being deteriorated due to oxidization. Further, a connecting edge 40b is defined on a portion of the outer periphery of the first edge 101b of each display container 10b. The connecting edges 40b of two adjacent display containers 10b are engaged with each other, and therefore, the two display containers 10b are attached to one another. Additionally, the two display containers 10b are adapted to be separated form each other by disengaging from the connecting edges 40b. In the preferred embodiment, the connecting edge 40b for each display container 10b is in a serrated form which includes a series of consecutive teeth.

In view of the forgoing, the display container 10 is of a simple structure and it eliminates materials and eases a complicated packing process of using a conventional display container. Likewise, each display container 10a, 10b of the display container set 100a, 100b is of a simple structure. Additionally, the polyurethane products 20 are prevented from being deteriorated due to oxidization. Furthermore, the display container 10 and each display container 10a, 10b of the display container set 100a, 100b are not liable to get damaged under the thermal seal process.

While the specific embodiments have been illustrated and described, numerous modifications come to mind without significantly departing from the spirit of invention, and the scope of invention is only limited by the scope of the accompanying claims.
