RELATED APPLICATIONS

This application claims priority to Taiwan Application Serial Number 98221143, filed Nov. 13, 2009, which is herein incorporated by reference.

FIELD OF THE INVENTION

The present invention relates to an interpretative book structure, and more particularly to an interpretative book structure with multi-view illustrations.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

Generally, an interpretative book, such as an interpretative book about human organ system, usually includes a plurality of illustrations and corresponding interpretative text. When the interpretative text describes some different conditions or states of the organ system, such as a normal condition or a damaged condition thereof, a plurality of illustrations correspondingly showing such different conditions must be provided in the interpretative book to help the reader to clearly understand the possible changes in the organ system.

In the conventional interpretative books, to help in the explanation of different changes in the interpreted subject, illustrations corresponding to such changes must be drawn and displayed in the book one by one. For instance, when there are three possible changes in the conditions of the interpreted organ system, three illustrations must be drawn corresponding to such three changed conditions. These illustrations would occupy a large space of the interpretative book to disadvantageously increase the volume thereof. Therefore, it is desirable to reduce the number of illustrations in the book without sacrificing the quality of the interpretative book.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

A primary object of the present invention is to provide an interpretative book structure with multi-view illustrations, so that each of the multi-view illustrations, when being viewed at different viewing angles, can show a plurality of images indicating different conditions of a corresponding illustration to thereby reduce the volume of the interpretative book.

To achieve the above and other objects, the interpretative book structure according to an embodiment of the present invention includes an interpretative book unit having at least one illustrated page and at least one interpretative page corresponding to the illustrated page, the illustrated page having an illustration provided thereon, and the interpretative page having interpretative text provided thereon; and at least one multi-view illustration unit being provided on the interpretative page, the multi-view illustration unit having a multi-view illustration provided thereon, and the multi-view illustration being corresponding to a part of the illustration provided on the illustrated page. The multi-view illustration unit, when being viewed at different viewing angles, can show images indicating different conditions of the illustration, so that a large quantity of pictures can be saved to reduce the volume of the interpretative book.

According to a further embodiment of the present invention, the interpretative page is provided with an engaging hole, and the multi-view illustration unit is fitly received in and engaged with the engaging hole, so that the multi-view illustration unit and the interpretative page form an integral body.

According to a still further embodiment of the present invention, the interpretative page is further provided with an overall illustration, on which a position of the illustration in the overall illustration is indicated to help a reader to more clearly understand the actual position of a part indicated by the illustration on a complete object indicated by the overall illustration.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS

The structure and the technical means adopted by the present invention to achieve the above and other objects can be best understood by referring to the following detailed description of the preferred embodiment and the accompanying drawings, wherein

FIG. 1 is an exploded perspective view of an interpretative book structure with multi-view illustrations according to an embodiment of the present invention;

FIG. 2 is an assembled view of FIG. 1;

FIG. 3 is a fragmentary plan view of one interpretative page of the interpretative book structure shown in FIG. 2;

FIG. 4 is a sectional view taken along line A-A of FIG. 3;

FIG. 5 shows one interpretative page of the interpretative book structure of FIG. 2 being viewed from a first viewing angle and an enlarged view of a multi-view illustration shown on that interpretative page;

FIG. 6 shows the interpretative page of the interpretative book structure of FIG. 5 being viewed from a second viewing angle and an enlarged view of the multi-view illustration shown thereon; and

FIG. 7 shows the interpretative page of the interpretative book structure of FIG. 5 being viewed from a third viewing angle and an enlarged view of the multi-view illustration shown thereon.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS

Please refer to FIGS. 1 and 2 that are exploded and assembled perspective views, respectively, of an interpretative book structure with multi-view illustrations according to an embodiment of the present invention, and to FIGS. 3 and 4 that are a plan view of one interpretative page of the interpretative book structure shown in FIG. 2 and a sectional view taken along line A-A of FIG. 3. As shown by these figures, the interpretative book structure with multi-view illustrations according to the present invention includes an interpretative book unit 100 and a plurality of multi-view illustration units 200.

The interpretative book unit 100 has a plurality of illustrated pages 110 and a plurality of interpretative pages 120 corresponding to the illustrated pages 110. Each of the illustrated pages 110 has an illustration 111, such as, for example, a human joint diagram. Each of the interpretative pages 120 has interpretative text 121 shown thereon corresponding to the illustration 111 for interpreting, for example, the structure of a human joint and various changes in the condition thereof.

The multi-view illustration units 200 can be separately provided on the interpretative pages 120 in any feasible manners. In the embodiment shown in the accompanying drawings, each of the interpretative pages 120 is provided with an engaging hole 122 for one multi-view illustration unit 200 to glue thereto or fitly set therein, so that the multi-view illustration unit 200 and the interpretative page 120 form an integral body.

Each of the multi-view illustration units 200 has a multi-view illustration 210, which corresponds to a part of the illustration 111 shown on a corresponding illustrated page 110. The multi-view illustration 210, when being viewed at different viewing angles, will show images indicating different conditions.

Please refer to FIGS. 5 to 7 that show the use of the interpretative book structure with multi-view illustrations according to the embodiment of the present invention. With the interpretative book according to the present invention, while the interpretative text 121 on each of the interpretative pages 120 interprets the illustration 111 shown on the corresponding illustrated page 110, the multi-view illustration unit 200 on that interpretative page 120 being viewed at different viewing angles can show images indicating different conditions of or changes in the illustration 111 to match the interpretative text 121 interpreting, for example, different conditions in the human joint as shown in the illustration 111. For instance, when the multi-view illustration unit 200 is viewed at a first viewing angle, a first-view illustration 210a appears as shown in FIG. 5 to present the illustrated object, such as a joint, in a normal condition; when the interpretative book is slightly turned or the reader shifts to view the multi-view illustration unit 200 at a second viewing angle, a second-view illustration 210b will appear as shown in FIG. 6 to present the illustrated object, such as a joint, in a minor damaged condition; and when the interpretative book is further turned or the reader further shifts to view the multi-view illustration unit 200 at a third viewing angle, a third-view illustration 210c will appear as shown in FIG. 7 to present the illustrated object, such as a joint, in a seriously damaged condition. Thus, by providing the multi-view illustrations 210 on the multi-view illustration units 200 to match the interpretation of different conditions of an illustrated object by the interpretative text 121, it is no longer necessary to provide a large quantity of additional pictures in the interpretative book to interpret such different conditions of the illustrated object.

In practical implementation of the present invention, the multi-view illustration units 200 are a multi-coating structure, by which light is refracted to thereby provide a 3D illustration effect.

In the interpretative book structure with multi-view illustrations according to the embodiment of the present invention, since the multi-view illustration units being viewed at different viewing angle can each show 3D images indicating different conditions, they are advantageously helpful to the reader in understanding various changes in the illustrated object. Moreover, with the multi-view illustration units, it is able to save a large quantity of pictures to thereby reduce the volume of the interpretative book.

In the interpretative book structure with multi-view illustrations according to the embodiment of the present invention, each of the interpretative pages 120 further includes an overall illustration 123, such as a full human body diagram, on which a position of the illustration 111 in the overall illustration 123 is indicated to help the reader to more clearly understand the actual position of a part indicated by the illustration 111 on a complete object indicated by the overall illustration 123.

The present invention has been described with some preferred embodiments thereof and it is understood that many changes and modifications in the described embodiments can be carried out without departing from the scope and the spirit of the invention that is intended to be limited only by the appended claims.
