Description
FIELD OF THE INVENTION

This invention relates generally to an underwear support device, and more specifically to a G-string comfort support device.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

In today's society men have become increasingly more concerned with their social appearance.

A variety of approaches are being taken to improve one's social appearance including dieting, exercise, and enhancement of one's own visual body appearance. One manner of acquiring this improvement is through wearing a variety of different underwear, such as Spandex, Briefs, Boxers, Jock Straps, and/or G-Strings. The problems with these previous listed underwear is that none of them actually lift, support, and/or provide a complete desirable comfort for one's entire crotch area.

Furthermore, as mentioned earlier, previous underwear, such as Spandex, squeezes the crotch area constantly while being warm, resulting in discomfort. Briefs also squeeze the crotch area and through continued use they become much looser in their fit, causing a rubbing between the crotch and inner thighs, resulting in an irritational discomfort. Boxers were created as an extremely loose underwear, which being so loose, can and will cause rubbing between the crotch and inner thighs, also resulting in an irritational discomfort as well.

A similar result also exists from both Jock Straps and G-Strings underwear, where both high bands on a Jock Strap and a butt crack band on a G-String that are connected from the bottom of their crotch covering material to the waist band. These straps will rub the area of one's inner thighs, testicles, and butt crack, which like other mentioned underwear resulting in a rubbing irritational discomfort also. This present invention is designed to lift, support, and provide a desirable comfort for a man's crotch.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

A first object of the present invention is to provide an improved underwear support device.

A second object of the present invention is to provide an improved underwear support device including a waistband and crotch support device.

A third object of the present invention is to provide a support device including a waistband and adjustable crotch support.

A fourth object of the present invention is to provide a support device including a waistband and an adjustable crotch device with a pull string.

A fifth object of the present invention is to provide a support device including a waistband and a crotch device configured to adjustably fit and grip the crotch of the user.

In light of the aforementioned problems associated with the prior underwear devices, it is a further object of the present invention to provide a G-string crotch support device. The preferred crotch support device comprises a waistband and a crotch support. A preferred embodiment of the waistband element includes a detachable attachment to allow the waistband to be opened and closed.

A preferred embodiment of the crotch support element is configured to provide lifting and support adjustment of the user's testicles. For example, the crotch support element can be made of a single piece of cloth, or two (2) or three (3) separate pieces sewn or connected together.

It is an even further object of the present invention to provide the crotch support with material the same as or similar to the waist band along with an attachment/detachment device to put on and remove the G-String from one's body, material covering one's crotch area, an adjustment device to adjust the crotch lift, and support device to ensure a comfortable fit for each individual wearer.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS

A preferred embodiment of the support device 10 according to the present invention is shown in FIG. 1.

The support device 10 includes a waistband 11 connected to a crotch support device 12. For example, the waistband 11 can be made of elastic material and the crotch support device 12 can be made of cloth material (e.g. cotton, cotton blend, synthetic) with the waistband 11 and crotch support device 12 sewn together. The waistband is preferably provided with an attachment and detachment device 11A, 11A to allow the waistband to be opened and closed when a user puts the support device 12 on or off. For example, the attachment and detachment device 11A, 11A are male/female snap fasteners 20A, 20B.

The crotch support device 12 includes a crotch lift device including a cloth channel 12a accommodating a pull string 13. The cloth channel 12a is made by folding the inner edges of the cloth material of the crotch support device 12, and then sewing the cloth material together to form a U-shaped channel, as shown in FIG. 1. The pull string 13 is made of a string material, for example, a braided string material.

The user puts on the support device 10, and then pulls the ends of the string 12a to tighten the crotch support device 12. The user then ties the ends of the string 12a together to maintain the fit of the crotch support device 12. It is noted that the support device 10 does not touch the user's legs, thighs, and butt cheeks when being worn.

The waistband 11 includes an attachment and detachment device 11A, which allows the support device 10 to be put on and/or taken off around the user's waistline. The attachment and detachment device is preferably configured to allow the size of the waistband 11 to be adjusted. It is noted that while the waistband 11 can be worn as the user's hip level, it might also be re-positioned at different waistline heights as desired by the user. In addition, the width of the waistband 11 can be varied from that shown. For example, for most applications it can be from one-half (½) inch to six (6) inches wide.

As shown in FIG. 1, the crotch support device 12 is configured to encompass a substantial portion or the entire crotch area of the user. The channel 12a is made of folded and sewn cloth material of the crotch support device 12 to accommodate and retain the pull string 13, which lines the inner edge of the crotch support device 12, as shown in FIG. 2. The channel 12a is configured to allow the pull string 13 to slide therein, and to allow the pull string to be tightened or released to adjust the fit and grip of the crotch support device 12 around the user's testicles.

With the pull string 13 tighten and tied, the crotch support device 12 will retain the testicles of the user during use, and will prevent the testicles from slipping out of the crotch support device 12 when being worn during normal wear and even during athletic activity depending on the design and tightness of the crotch support device 12. The pull string 13 provides the ability for the user to tighten, lift, support and/or loosen the fit around the crotch without pulling on one's skin.

The channel 12 can be continuous, or can be intermittent along its length. For example, in the embodiment shown in FIG. 1, the channel 12 includes a lower U-shaped channel portion 12A1 and two (2) upper channel portions 12A2, 12A2 with the pull string 13 exposed between these portions in the upper corners thereof. The channel 12 or channel portions can be reinforced by extra cloth material layers, or a plastic layer or liner (e.g. plastic sheet, plastic tube, cloth tube).

The exit holes 14 of the channel 12A of the crotch support device 12 is preferably reinforced so that the pull string 13 does not tear open the exit holes 14 during use. For example, the exit holes can be surged to reinforce the inner edges of the exit holes 14. Alternatively, metal or plastic eyelets 30 (FIG. 2) can be secured to the material surrounding the exit holes 14 to reinforce same.

As well, element 13, the string is released through element 14, the holes in the center of the crotch support material to release, tie and untie the string of element 13a device of the present invention.

Another preferred embodiment of the support device 10′ according to the present invention is shown in FIG. 2.

The waistband 11′ is provided with a different attachment and detachment device 11A′, 11A′. For example, the attachment and detachment device 11A′, 11A′ include metal or plastic loops 22A′ and hooks 22B′.

A further preferred embodiment of the support device 10″ according to the present invention is shown in FIG. 3.

The waistband 11″ is provided with another different attachment and detachment device 11A″, 11A″. For example, the attachment and detachment device 11A″, 11A″ include male and female snap buckle 24A″, 24B″.

An even further preferred embodiment of the support device 100 according to the present invention is shown in FIG. 4.

The waistband 111 is provided with a further different attachment and detachment device 111A, 111A. For example, the attachment and detachment device 111A, 11A include hook and loop material fastener 126A, 126B (e.g. two part VELCRO material fastener). The hook and loop fastener is sewn to the waistband 111.

Further, in the support device 100, the pull string is replaced with an elastic band 128 provided around a portion or the entire perimeter of the crotch support device 112.
