Abstract

A screw-type tip modification for a standard beach umbrella pole, that makes it easier for the task of anchoring it into the sand by simply twisting the pole by hand without the need of tools or special handles. A wrap around the beach umbrella pole floor mat with a unique zebra-print color to stand apart from traditional beach umbrella colors.

FIELD OF INVENTION

This invention generally it is based on the field of outdoor umbrellas and more specifically, in the necessity to secure the umbrella unto the floor easily and without the need of additional tools and/or attachments. In addition, a color matching floor mat designed especially to wrap around the umbrella pole. Furthermore, a unique zebra-print colored look to stand apart of the classic beach umbrella colors.

BACKGROUND OF INVENTION

Beach umbrellas are a very common item to use at the beach because it provides a great protection from the sun rays. People goes to the beach when it is mostly sunny, but at the same time, we need protection from an extreme overexposure from the sun.

Beach umbrellas are usually made of a two piece metal pole (top and bottom) and a wire structure that opens and closes in a retractable manner, this action takes place in the top part of the metal pole. The bottom part it is inserted into the sand by digging a hole that in some cases it is hard to do due to the surface of the sand being hard. So, by adding a screw-type tip to the bottom of the pole will make inserting the pole into the sand very easy by simply twisting the pole by hand like a screwdriver and without the need of additional tools or special handles. The more insertion of the pole into the sand, the more secure it will stand the force of wind. Once the bottom part of the umbrella it is properly inserted into the sand, it can support the top part of the umbrella.

The floor mat is becoming a popular need to lay down at the beach to relax and to rest under the shade of the beach umbrella. Adding a especially designed floor mat to wrap around the pole of the beach umbrella, people will have the perfect combination of items to spend the day at the beach in total comfort and style.

The present invention essentially comprises an screw-type tip added to the lower end of the pole that can be inserted into the sand by turning the pole by hand to secure the beach umbrella without the need of handles or tools.

BRIEF SUMMARY

In accordance with an embodiment of the present invention, a screw-type tip (104) is added to the bottom part of the beach umbrella pole (103) made of a rigid, resilient material like hard plastic, metal or polyethylene.

The floor mat (103), typically consist of a soft nylon or plastic material suitable to withstand the outdoor weather and contact with the sand.

It is attached at the bottom, at ground level, around the bottom pole (102) of The beach umbrella (100) and it is secured to say in place with a Velcro strip (105).

The unique zebra-print look (107) was chosen to complete this beach umbrella (100) and floor mat (103) set to make it stand apart from traditional beach umbrella Colors.

CONCLUSION

In sum, the described invention includes a zebra-print colored beach umbrella with an added screw-type thread in the bottom of the pole of the beach umbrella to make the task of anchoring the umbrella into the sand easier and without the need of additional tools or special handles. In addition, this invention includes a matching zebra-print floor mat with an easy to open and install feature.
