TRASH BAG RECEIVING STRUCTURE FOR TRASH CAN

A trash bag receiving structure for a trash can, which is disposed on the outer peripheral edge of a trash can, comprises a shell having a receiving chamber, an opening being provided on one side of the receiving chamber; a container box passing through the opening and contained in the receiving chamber of the shell, the container box having a containing space and having an access opening provided on the top thereof. The container box allowing trash bags to be placed therein can be received in the shell. The container box can be pulled out of the receiving chamber of the shell for the convenience of the user to take out the trash bags.

Description
FIELD OF THE INVENTION

The present invention relates to a trash bag receiving structure for a trash can, and more particularly to a trash bag receiving structure provided on a trash can for the convenience of taking out and replacing trash bags.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

A conventional trash can is simply a barrel. When the user desires to lay a trash bag within the trash can, it is often necessary to take trash bags at other site where the trash bags are placed, tearing off a trash bag, followed by laying the trash bag within the trash can.

However, when it is desired to lay a trash bag within a conventional trash can, the user needs to take trash bags at other site where the trash bags are placed. This brings great inconvenience in use. Furthermore, it is easy for modern people to forget the site where the trash bags are placed due to their busy life, or people cannot find out the trash bags when they desire to use the trash bags but because the trash bags are not returned to their original position after use. This also leads to great inconvenience. Therefore, the present invention is directed to solve the problems as described above.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

It is a primary object of the present invention to solve the above-mentioned problems by providing a trash bag receiving structure for a trash can. When the user desires to lay a trash bag within the trash can, he or she can pull out the container box directly without taking trash bags at other site where the trash bags are placed. Besides, the container box can be received in the shell after use.

Another object of the present invention is to provide to such a structure in which a slide rail device is provided. When the user desires to pull out the container box from the receiving chamber of the shell, the slide rail device can reduce the resistance between the container box and the shell such that the user can save strength during pulling.

A further object of the present invention is to provide such a trash structure in which the bottom of the container box adjacent to the side panel can be pivotally disposed at the bottom of the receiving chamber of the shell adjacent to the opening, so that the container box can be pivotally rotated out of the shell at the opening of the shell.

In order to achieve the foregoing objects, a trash bag receiving structure for a trash can according to the present invention comprises:

a shell having a receiving chamber, an opening being provided on one side of the receiving chamber; and

a container box passing through the opening and contained in the receiving chamber of the shell, the container box having a containing space and having an access opening communicating with the containing space and provided on the top of the container box.

Moreover, a slide rail device is provided between the shell and the container box, so that the container box can be moved on the bottom surface of the receiving chamber of the shell via the slide rail device.

Furthermore, the bottom of the container box adjacent to the side panel can be pivotally disposed at the bottom of the receiving chamber of the shell adjacent to the opening, so that the container box can be pivotally rotated out of the shell at the opening of the shell.

The above objects and advantages of the present invention will become apparent from the following detailed description of preferred embodiments of the invention when read in connection with the accompanying drawings.

Of course, the present invention allows different arrangements in some other cases, but the preferred embodiments will be described in detail herein.

FIG. 1 is a schematic three-dimensional view of the present invention, wherein the container box is separated from the shell.

FIG. 2 is a rear view of a first embodiment of the present invention, wherein the container box is disposed inside the shell via a slide rail device.

FIG. 3 is a rear view of a first embodiment of the present invention, wherein the container box slides out of the shell.

FIG. 4 is a rear view of a second embodiment of the present invention, wherein the container box is pivotally disposed within the shell.

FIG. 5 is a rear view of a second embodiment of the present invention, wherein the container box is pivotally rotated out of the shell.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS

The structures illustrated in FIGS. 1 to 5 are the structures of preferred embodiments. Such structures are for illustrative purposes only and do not limit the invention as claimed.

First, FIGS. 1 to 3 illustrate a first embodiment of a trash bag receiving structure for a trash can according to the present invention, which comprises a trash can 1, a shell 2 and a container box 3.

A lid 11 is pivotally disposed at the top of the trash can 1 and a pedal device 12 is disposed at the bottom of the trash can 1. The pedal device 12 can drive the lid 11 to rotate pivotally. The user can step on the pedal device so that the lid 11 can be opened from or closed on the top surface of the trash can 1.

The shell 2 has a receiving chamber 21. An opening 22 is provided on one side of the receiving chamber 21. The shell 2 includes at least one connecting portion 23 provided at the central position on one side of the shell 2 adjacent to the opening 22. In this embodiment, the shell 2 includes two connecting portions 23. The shell 2 is coupled and fixed to the outer peripheral edge of the trash can 1 via the two connecting portions 23. In this embodiment, the shell 2 is disposed at the rear side of the trash can 1 which is different from the side on which the pedal device 12 is located.

The container box 3 passes through the opening 22 and can be contained in the receiving chamber 21 of the shell 2. The container box 3 has a containing space 31 and includes an access opening 32 communicating with the containing space 31 and provided on the top thereof. The user can put trash bags (not shown) into the containing space 31 of the container box 3. The access opening 32 is configured such that the user can take out the trash bags put in the containing space 31 of the container box 3. Moreover, the container box 3 includes a side panel 33 provided on the surface at the same side as the opening 22 of the shell 2 for closing the opening. A toggle aperture 34 is provided at the central position on the top edge of the side panel 33. Therefore, the toggle aperture 34 allows the finger(s) of the user to be put therein to pull out the container box 3 from the shell 2.

Referring to FIGS. 2 to 3, a slide rail device 4 is provided between the bottom surface of the receiving chamber 21 of the shell 2 and the bottom of the container box 3, so that the container box 3 can be horizontally moved on the bottom surface of the receiving chamber of the shell via the slide rail device 4. When the user desires to pull out the container box 3 from receiving chamber 21 of the shell 2, the slide rail device 4 can reduce the resistance during pulling.

In use of the present invention, the user can put his or her finger(s) in the toggle aperture 34 and apply an outward pulling force to the container box 3 in a direction away from the shell 2, so that the container box 3 can be horizontally moved via the slide rail device 4 and be moved away from the shell 2 at the opening 22. At this time, the user can take out the trash bags put in the containing space 31 of the container box 3 from the access opening 32. After a trash bag has been torn off, the trash bags are put in the containing space 31 of the container box 3 from the access opening 32 and a pushing force is applied to the container box 3 in a direction toward the shell 2, so that the container box 3 is pushed back into the receiving chamber 21 of the shell 2 along the slide rail device 4.

As concluded above, an advantage of the present invention is that the container box 3 allows the user to put trash bags therein. A trash bag receiving structure for a trash can according to the present invention can be mounted to a trash can 1 commonly used in daily life. Therefore, when the user desires to use a trash bag, it is not necessary to take trash bags at other site where the trash bags are placed. This provides great convenience in use, and the container box 3 can be received in the shell 2 after use.

Furthermore, the present invention utilizes a slide rail device 4 so that when the user desires to pull out the container box 3 from the shell 2, the container box 3 can be pulled out of the receiving chamber 21 of the shell 2 via the slide rail device 4 to reduce the resistance during pulling. This enables more effortless pulling of the container box. Also, the container box 3 can be pulled out of the shell 2 more smoothly via the slide rail device 4.

Of course, there are still many embodiments present in the invention and they only differ from one another by variation in the details. FIGS. 4 and 5 illustrate a second embodiment of the present invention, wherein the bottom of the container box 3 adjacent to the side panel 33 is pivotally disposed at the bottom of the receiving chamber 21 of the shell 2 adjacent to the opening 22, so that the container box 3 can be pivotally rotated out of the shell 2 at the opening 22 of the shell 2. At this time, the user can take out the trash bags from the access opening 32 of the container box 3. When the container box 3 is pivotally rotated to a predetermined position, the diagonal end of the container box 3 opposite to the pivoting point will abut against the inner wall on the top of the receiving chamber 21 of the shell 2 to provide a stop function, so that the container box 3 is prevented from being pivotally rotated excessively.

In use of the second embodiment of the present invention, a finger is put in the toggle aperture 34 and an outward pulling force is applied to the container box 3. At this time, the container box 3 can be pivotally rotated out of the shell 2 at the opening 22 of the shell 2. The user can take out the trash bags from the access opening 32 of the container box 3. After a trash bag has been torn off, the container box 3 is pushed toward the shell 2 so that the container box 3 is pivotally rotated to its original position.

In addition to the function same as that of the above-mentioned first embodiment, the second embodiment of the present invention utilizes a pivotal element instead of a slide rail device, so that it requires simpler assembling members.

It is to be understood that the disclosure of the above-mentioned embodiments is illustrative only and the invention is not limited to the disclosed embodiments, and therefore all changes in values or substitution by equivalent elements should still be included within the scope of the invention.

Those skilled in the art can now appreciate from the foregoing detailed description that above-described objects can be achieved by the present invention, and the application for a patent is duly filed accordingly.

Claims

1. A trash bag receiving structure for a trash can, the structure being disposed on the outer peripheral edge of a trash can and comprising:

a shell having a receiving chamber, an opening being provided on one side of the receiving chamber; and
a container box passing through the opening and contained in the receiving chamber of the shell, the container box having a containing space and including an access opening communicating with the containing space and provided on the top of the container box.

The trash bag receiving structure for a trash can as described in claim 1, wherein the container box includes a side panel provided on the surface at the same side as the opening of the shell for closing the opening and a toggle aperture is provided at the central position on the top edge of the side panel.

3. The trash bag receiving structure for a trash can as described in claim 1, wherein the shell is provided with at least one connecting portion and the shell is coupled to the trash can via the connecting portion.

4. The trash bag receiving structure for a trash can as described in claim 3, wherein the shell is provided with two connecting portions.

5. The trash bag receiving structure for a trash can as described in claim 1, wherein a slide rail device is provided between the bottom surface of the receiving chamber of the shell and the bottom of the container box.

6. The trash bag receiving structure for a trash can as described in claim 1, wherein the bottom of the container box adjacent to the side panel is pivotally disposed at the bottom of the receiving chamber of the shell adjacent to the opening.

7. The trash bag receiving structure for a trash can as described in claim 1, wherein the shell is disposed at the rear side of the trash can.
