Archery accessory bracket for compound bows-mounts to universal site mount position of bows currently marketed as per illustrations attached for use in mounting flashlights, laser aiming devices, video cameras, among other things
The invention described and illustrated herein accomplishes multiple functions to aid archery hunters in illumination, laser aiming and video recording of hunting and target shooting experiences. The invention leverages existing site mounting locations on compound bows and offers an adjustable setting based upon the bow/site combination leveraged by the hunter. The invention is adaptable for multiple lighting solutions as well as cameras and significantly improves the shooters ability to leverage the advantage of having an illumination device by placing it close to the site verses low on the base of the bow in the stabilization mount.
Archery accessory bracket for compound bows—mounts to universal site mount position of bows currently marketed as per illustrations attached for use in mounting flashlights, laser aiming devices, video cameras, among other things.
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTIONThis invention relates generally to archery bows used for shooting arrows. Currently, there are a number of stabilization-based illumination devices on the market however this invention leverages the existing site mounting location verses the stabilization location therefore providing the shooter with improved visibility in all shooting conditions. Additionally, this invention allows the shooter to take advantage of existing LED lighting solutions that combine lighting with laser dot aiming devices thereby further improving shot accuracy. Furthermore, the invention is designed to accept a digital camera for video recording of shooting and or hunting experiences as seen through the eyes of the hunter and is adaptable to most existing marketed compound bows and sites for a wide array of brand and design utilization.
