Abstract

The invention of Handbag With Interchangeable Decorative Embellishment, relates to handbags having a detachable, interchangeable, and removable handbag system that allows the consumer to change the appearance of the handbag instantly by attaching the decorative element upon or detaching the decorative element from the body of the handbag without ever affecting the practical function or size of the handbag. That said interchangeable element might be made in a collection of varied ornamental material purposed to interpret the current fashion trends to enhance the visual appeal of the handbag.

Description

FIELD OF INVENTION

The present invention relates generally to a handbag that is commonly used everyday as an item to carry things in or as a decorative fashion accessory. More particularly, it relates to an interchangeable handbag system that purposed to enhance the visual appeal of the handbag. The system does not change the practical function or the size of the handbag itself.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

Although many attempts were made in prior art to provide interchangeable covering to allow a quick change of appearance on a handbag. However, while these systems may be suitable for the intended purpose of changing the exterior covering or interior lining of the handbag, their primary focus remain on changing the fabric of the entire exterior covering or interior lining. Therefore, the element is often limited in fabric. The present invention differ from other interchangeable handbag system, as shown on FIGS. 1, 2, 3, and 4, the said interchangeable embellishment may be made in a collection of varied ornamental material purposed to interpret the current fashion trends, and the receiving fastener device on the handbag are also hidden under a cleverly designed panel that is not easily noticeable, so the handbag is able to maintain its usual appearance when the interchangeable system is not in use.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

The primary objective of the present invention is to provide a convenient, easy to use, and creative way to interpret the current fashion trends. Another objective is to allow the handbag to maintain its usual appearance by providing a cleverly designed panel with a hidden receiving fastener device. A further objective is to allow user the options of personal styling in matching the interchangeable embellishment to clothing or other fashion accessories. An additional objective is to provide an economic way to satisfy the user's desire to achieve fashion trends without the expenses to purchase additional handbags, as provided by the present invention which allow user to mix and match the handbags with the interchangeable embellishments.

FIG. 3 is a collective view of the interchangeable embellishment, made in a collection of varied ornamental material, being applied to the handbag and how the appearance of the handbag changes with the application.

FIG. 4 is a front collective view explaining the “mix and match” ability of the said interchangeable system. The patterns showing within the broken lines on FIG. 4 are for illustrative purposes only and pattern uses in future of this invention are not limited to the illustrations showed.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS

An interchangeable handbag system according to the present disclosure is shown generally at 4 and 5 in FIG. 2 whereas the interchangeable embellishment is received by a snap-on fastener, which is hidden under a carefully designed panel on a handbag body to allow user to attach or detach the interchangeable embellishment in seconds without using any tools.

That said receiving device is intended to be non-visible as shown at 1, 6, 10, and 11 in FIGS. 1, 3, and 4 respectively, so as to enable the handbag to remain its usual appearance when the system is not in use.

That said interchangeable embellishment shown at 2, 3, 7, 8, 9, 10a, 10b, 11a, and 11b on FIGS. 1, 2, 3, and 4 respectively are examples of a collection of varied ornamental material may be use to produce the element, however, the embellishment may be included, but not limited to the material featured on the illustration.

Additional features shown as an example at 10, 10a, 10b, 11a, and 11b in FIG. 4 illustrated the “mix and match” ability of the said interchangeable system. The above drawings showing handbag 10 and handbag 11, made in two different body materials, having the same embellishment applied to the handbag body creating a different appearance at 10a and 11a, or 10b and 11b.

The broken lines shown on FIGS. 1, 2, 3, and 4 are for illustrative purposes only, the particular handbag silhouette illustrated is intended to be an example and it should not limit the future use of other handbag silhouette for the said interchangeable system.

The present invention of an interchangeable decorative embellishment system can be applied to the body of a handbag quickly without the use of any tools, allowing user the options to keep the usual appearance of the handbag or to affectively switching the handbag to the current fashion trends by simply apply the interchangeable embellishment.

Claims

1. The present invention relates to handbags having a detachable, interchangeable, and removable handbag system that provides a convenient, easy to use, and creative way to interpret the current fashion trends by using interchangeable decorative embellishment to allow user to change the appearance of the handbag instantly by attaching the decorative element upon or detaching the decorative element from the body of the handbag.

Said interchangeable handbag system as stated in claim 1, wherein, said system quickly and affectively interpret the current trends by incorporate a detachable and removable decorative embellishment that is to be made in a collection of varied ornamental material such as, but not limited to PVC (polymerizing vinyl chloride), woven or non woven fabric, metal links, feather, beads and stones.

3. Said interchangeable embellishment as stated in claim 2, may be detach from or attach to another handbag in the same or different silhouettes with the same interchangeable system, to allow user to mix and match to achieve the most desirable appearance on a handbag.

Said interchangeable system as stated in claim 1, provides a cleverly designed panel with a hidden receiving fastener device intended to be non-visible on the handbag body, allowing the handbag to maintain its usual appearance when said system is not in use. So as to give user options to use the handbag in its usual appearance or to enhance its appearance. Said panel as described above is not limited to the shape illustrated in FIGS. 1,2,3, and 4.

5. Said hidden receiving fastener device as stated in claim 3, shall not limited to snaps, zippers, Velcro, button, or any other fastening system that is equally affective to attach the decorative embellishment to handbag body.
