DEVICE FOR EYEGLASSES
The present invention concerns a device for spectacles wherein the device consists of a single-piece case, a body, in particular a planar body or the similar for the fixture and/or holding of the folded spectacles and for the use thereof.

The present invention concerns devices for spectacles which can serve for storing and protection.
Different systems and devices for the storing of spectacles of any size are known from the state of the art.
DE 25 28 506 discloses a spectacle case having a fixing device. The spectacle case is closed on one side. At the spectacle case a magnetic fixing device is arranged in order to prevent the falling-out of the spectacle case from the breast pocket. DE 20 2004 002 664 U1 discloses a spectacle case having a fixing device at the belt, which can be worn in particular on the backside of the body. Here, it is a closable spectacle case.
EP 1 564 579 A1 discloses foldable spectacles and a spectacle case for holding the spectacles. Here, the focus is set on the spectacle case. In the two case parts of the spectacle case which are connected by two hinges, there are fixing devices in order to make possible the detachable fixing of the foldable spectacles. In addition a magnifying class can exist on one half of the case.
DE 20 2004 016 141 U1 discloses a spectacle case protecting the spectacles only in case that spectacles and case synergize. Here, the spectacles are stabilized and protected by insertion of the spectacle hinges into the openings of the spectacle case.
DE 699 12 828 T2 discloses a spectacle case for small spectacles, whereby the spectacle case is closable on both sides and at the end is detachably closed with a writing utensil and a torch. In this case only small spectacles can be used. The design is similar to a pen having an additional clip and finding place in the breast- or jacket pocket.
DE 10 2004 009 866 A1 discloses a spectacle case having a lug which, if desired, is removable. This embodiment can be designed in form of a cup and is meant for the installation in motor vehicles or the similar.
Since 1922, U.S. Pat. No. 1,411,065 already discloses a spectacle case having a clip which is worn in the breast pocket. Also in this case, the complete spectacles are inserted. It is the object to prevent the falling out of the spectacles and the case. Disadvantageously, the spectacle case can only be carried in the breast pocket of the shirt or the jacket.
Also U.S. Pat. No. 3,994,391 discloses a spectacle case having a clip. Here, the clip is movable in a swiveling manner around an axis. The spectacle case is worn at the belt. It is not ensured to quickly put on the spectacles.
U.S. Pat. No. 2,777,489 discloses a foldable spectacle case, which has a loop on its rear side, with which the case is closed and which, if desired, can be fixed at a belt. In the case of flexibly designed cases, destruction of the spectacle frame can follow to improper wearing or other potential manipulations.
It is the object of the present invention to provide a device which does not have the disadvantages of the state of the art, which is detachably arranged at the body or on the clothes of the wearer and which makes possible the quick and easy access to the glasses.
One subject of the present invention is a device for spectacles, wherein the device consists of a single-piece or multi-piece case, a planar body or the similar, which stores and/or holds the folded glasses.
According to the invention, the material of the devices can be made from all metallic or non metallic materials and composite materials thereof. Hereby, metallic materials mean besides titanium and aluminium all ferrous and non ferrous metals as well as the noble metals such as gold, silver and platinum. In addition, all oxide compounds of these above mentioned compounds, such as for example spinels and others can be used. Also carbon compounds can be used as Kevlar or other composite materials. Also modifications of carbon having a Mohs-hardness of 10 can be used in form of diamonds. Other jewels can be used as well.
Within the scope of the present invention the spectacle frames are those, which are made of magnetic or non magnetic metallic or non metallic materials. Additionally, all non magnetic spectacle frames can be provided with one or more small magnets.
In one embodiment, the device is in particular a spectacle case. Here, the device is a single-piece case for spectacles, wherein holding fixtures are embedded in order to prevent the falling-out of the spectacles. The spectacle case has on one side an opening and on the opposite side the form of a loop or a drilling, so that the folded spectacles can be taken downward from the spectacle case. The case is open on the side which is turned away from the loop. The spectacles are inserted through this opening into the spectacle case. The spectacle case can be designed in an embodiment according to the invention such that only one part of the folded spectacles is covered by the spectacle case.
According to the invention, the folded spectacles can be covered partly or completely by the device.
In a further embodiment of the device according to the invention for spectacles, the fixture, in particular in the spectacle case, is made from the group of magnetic attachments, spring mechanisms, hooks, lugs or the similar.
Preferred fixtures are those from the group of the magnetic fixtures or of spring mechanisms.
The opening in form of a loop or drilling at the device, in particular at the spectacle case, is meant for supporting a chain, a ribbon, a thread or similar flexible materials, so that the spectacle case can be worn for example around the neck. Advantageously it is hereby ensured that the spectacles are always worn near the body of the user and thus are protected.
In a further embodiment the device according to the invention for spectacles is made as three-dimensional body, which also has fixtures. These fixtures are externally arranged and designed as a spring, a rounded pin, a profile in u-form, a clip or the similar, into which one can detachably hang in, clamp, insert or in another way fasten the spectacle frame.
On its downside the body is connected in a detachable manner with the tissue, knits or other materials of the clothes detachable by means of a clamp, magnets, safety-pin systems, clips or the similar.
Preferred bodies are planar geometrical forms, these ensuring a large holding surface for the spectacles. With concern to the surface, an amount of at least 2 to 50 fixtures can be arranged on the surface, if desired. Preference is given to at least 2 to 25 fixtures.
In a further preferred embodiment according to the invention the device for spectacles is designed as tree-dimensional body. It can be the matter of, for example, a rectangular body, decorated with one colour or several colours and/or other additional applications. The body is made partly or completely from a magnet or a magnetic material which attracts ferrous or other magnetizable materials. The spectacle frame is either completely made of these materials or at least at the hinge jaw and/or at the side-piece of the spectacle frame. The weight of the spectacles is chosen such that the spectacles, being made of a magnetic material, are held by a permanent magnet without the spectacles being able to fall from the permanent magnet. An arrangement which is detachably connected with the clothes of the wearer, is on the side which is turned away from the spectacles. This may be a clip, a safety pin fastener, a different clamp-connection or a further magnet arranged between the tissue of the clothes for example of the shirt pocket and the permanent magnet which holds the spectacles. Preference is given to the magnetic solution, because in this case no larger pressure sites or injection sites rest in the tissues.
In a further embodiment the spectacles may be non magnetic spectacles. In this case, according to the invention, a permanent magnet is embedded at the jaw of the frame or arranged in another way, so that the permanent magnet is attracted to the jaw by the magnet in the device and thus is held.
The magnet can be fixed at the spectacles in a detachable or non detachable manner, for example a permanent magnet can be adhered to the spectacles. In this embodiment the device according to the invention can be provided for common spectacles, for example for sun-glasses.
The side pieces of the spectacles can be made of metal, synthetics or other materials, such as wood or horn. The side pieces may also be manufactured by combinations of these materials.
The material of the side piece can be in itself magnetic or at least magnetizable, in particular by magnetic metals and/or synthetics, or it may be magnetizable by way of auxiliary agents, such as magnetic powders.
It is possible to magnetize only parts of the side pieces or of the spectacles. This is preferably reached by putting magnetic powder only on certain sites and/or affixing or embedding magnetic parts, for example in form of modish applications.
In the same way, magnetic powders can be completely or partly admitted to the device according to the invention, which can also be described as click-holder, and/or magnetic parts can be admitted or embedded.
Furthermore it is possible within the scope of the invention to fix also additional magnetic components at the spectacles instead of completely or partly magnetized spectacles. These additional components can be for example small magnetic parts of any desired form, which are adhered to the spectacles, preferably to the spectacle frame, whereby the adhesion can be reversible or irreversible. The additional components can be designed also as covers which are drawn over the ends of the side-pieces. Also in this embodiment the additional components can be adhered reversibly or irreversibly to the spectacles if desired. Furthermore, the additional components can be manufactured in form of “clickable” parts, i.e. the magnetic part is fastened to the spectacles by way of a flexible clamp; the clamp can be produced from the magnetic part itself, or it is fastened to the magnetic part, preferably adhered.
It is possible within the scope of the present invention that the device contains one or more magnets, and that one or more magnets are attached to the spectacles at the respective complementary site/sites. The magnets can be adhered to the spectacles (permanent or removable without trace), or be attached removably at the spectacles preferably by flexible “click-fasteners”.
In a further embodiment of the present invention, the device for spectacles is a three-dimensional body, which is designed at its front side with fixtures, to which the spectacles are detachably connected with the body and on its downside are connected in detachable form by way of a clamp, magnets, safe-pin systems, clips or the similar.
One embodiment of the device according to the invention has the form of a spectacle case. The form of the spectacle case is designed for the halfway holding of the folded spectacle frame. The exterior case consists of a wear-resistant material. Here all common synthetics or composite materials from the group of synthetics, metals or ceramic materials may be used. The exterior case has a rectangular profile-form design. On the close side of the u-profile, a drilling is arranged at the upper area. The drilling is meant for the insertion of a chain, a ribbon or of similar flexible or non flexible (inelastic) materials. Wires, thin, curved profiles can be counted to the non flexible materials. The opening of the spectacle frame shows downward. The spectacle frame lies on a soft material which is embedded into the exterior case. Between the exterior case and the soft tissue material, elastic and foamed materials, if desired containing synthetics, are arranged on the narrow sides, which are deformable on light pressure. By insertion of the spectacle frame into the u-profile of the exterior case, the elastic, foamed and, if desired, synthetic-containing material is pressed together by the movement of the spectacles and light pressure. If the spectacles are in the end position, the elastic, and, if desired, synthetic-containing foamed material expands back into the original position thus holding the spectacle frame. Additionally, on at least one side of the spectacle case at the opening is a flat spring, which can be separated from the spectacles by the soft material, in order not to damage the spectacles. If the spectacles have reached the end position, the glass of the spectacles is held in the interior of the exterior case by a flat spring to prevent falling out and in addition by the elastic, if desired synthetic-containing foamed material.
With preference, the spectacles are held in a folded manner, whereby the spectacle side-pieces are abutted to the spectacle glass by the elastic, foamed and if desired synthetic-containing material in a rigid position, so that no shifting or other movements can occur.
A further embodiment of the device according to the invention is designed as a spectacle case. The form of the spectacle case is designed for the halfway insertion of the folded spectacle frame. Also here, the exterior case consists of a wear-resistant material. The present form of the exterior case has the shape of an open u-profile form. In the cross-section, the exterior case is designed as c-profile. The elastic, foamed and, if desired, synthetic-containing material is arranged at the top and at the bottom of the small sides in order to fix the folded spectacles. Above the elastic, foamed and, if desired, synthetic-containing material the soft material is arranged in order to prevent the damage or scratching of the spectacles. In this embodiment there are no permanent magnets. In the upper area a drilling is set also in this case. This serves for the holding of a chain, a ribbon, a thread or similar flexible materials. In this embodiment as well the opening of the exterior case shows downward. The spectacle frame lies on the soft material which is embedded into the exterior case. In this variant there is additionally a permanent magnet between the exterior case and the soft, tissue material on the small sides under the elastic, foamed and, if desired, synthetic-containing material. In a further modification the permanent magnet can be embedded as well in the elastic, foamed and, if desired, synthetic-containing material. Below the drilling there is a further permanent magnet arranged on the level of the hinge of the closed spectacle side-piece. In the described modification a flat spring can, if desired, be additionally arranged on at least one side of the opening, the flat spring being separated from the spectacles by the soft material in order to prevent damage. If the spectacles have reached the end position, the glasses of the spectacles are held by the flat spring in the exterior case. After insertion of the side-pieces into the spectacle case of the invention, they rest outside of the exterior case. It is advantageous that this modification allows the spectacle frame to be withdrawn completely at the folded side-pieces.
In a further embodiment of the device of the invention the permanent magnet is arranged below the drilling and has a length which corresponds to the total amount of the exterior case. The spectacles are folded. The spectacle side-pieces are abutted to the spectacle glass, but are outside of the exterior case. The spectacle glasses are held by the elastic, foamed and, if desired, synthetic-containing material in an upright, rigid position and are additionally held by at least on flat spring.
In a further modification, instead of the permanent magnet(s) a nut spring mechanism is arranged which can detachably hold the hinge or the jaw of the spectacle side-pieces and fix it in the exterior case.
A further variant of the device of the invention is designed as spectacle case. Hereby, the opening, which serves as a loop for a chain, a ribbon or similar flexible or non flexible (inelastic) materials, is set at the exterior case. In an embodiment, not described here, the opening can also be integrated into the exterior case. In this case it is a matter of an exterior case covering 50 to 75% of the spectacle frame. Arranged on the front side of the rigid exterior case is a lug, which consists of a flexible material, and which fixes the spectacle frame in the region of the nose saddle between both spectacle glasses. The lug can be flexible and be detachably closed with a hook and loop fastener. In a further modification the lug can cover partly or completely the spectacle frame in the closed position.
In a further modification a side-piece or a lid is used instead of the flexible lug, which is designed in a swiveling manner with a hinge or other models, in order to fasten the spectacles in the exterior case. The spectacle frame lies on a soft material coating the exterior case. The elastic, foamed and, if desired, synthetic-containing materials are arranged between the exterior case and the soft, tissue material materials which are formable on light pressure. When inserting the spectacle frame into the u-profile of the exterior case, the elastic, foamed and, if desired, synthetic-containing material is pressed together by the light pressure of the movement of the spectacles. If the spectacles are in the end position, the elastic, foamed and, if desired, synthetic-containing material expands into the original position, thus holding the spectacle frame.
In a further modification, the device of the invention has the form of a spectacle case. Thereby the loop is on the small side, so that the exterior case is opened downward. The spectacle frame with the abutted spectacle side-pieces is inserted into the half-open upper part. The protection against the falling-out of the spectacles happens by means of a lug integrated into the rear side of the exterior case, and which is detachably connected at the upper part of the exterior case by means of a hook and loop fastener, a press button or the similar and which positively encloses the spectacle frame in the middle part of the region of the nose saddle. Instead of the flexible lug, a side-piece or a lid can be used, which is designed in a swiveling manner with a hinge or other modifications in order to fix the spectacles in the exterior case. The glasses of the spectacles are held as well by the elastic, foamed and, if desired, synthetic-containing material in an upright, rigid position.
In a further variant, the spectacles can be held, in addition to the elastic material (adsorber), at the spectacle glasses by at least one flat spring which is arranged at the opening of the spectacle frame.
Some of the preferred embodiments (a), (b), (c), (d) of the present invention can be described as follows:
a) A vertical, elongated device, open downwards, for the wearing of spectacles, the opening being oval to rectangular in order to be able to store folded spectacles.
This model can look like a cut-through spectacle case, which still has between 10 to 90% of the original length.
The device has inwardly a holding-mechanism for spectacles, whereby the holding-mechanism is based in particular on clips, springs and/or magnets.
The spectacles in this device are vertically arranged so that the glasses of the spectacles are one on top of the other.
At its upper end or on its rear side it has a holding element or fixing element.
The holding element or the fixing element at the upper end of the device is preferably a loop or a drilling, which can be protrudent or embedded low lying for the support of a chain, a ribbon or a wire; the holding element or fixing element on the rear side of the device preferably is a safety-pin system, a hook and loop system, a counter system with magnets, a clip or a spring system, the latter in particular “like a hair pin”. That means that the loop or the drilling in this case is on the short side of the device.
In another preferred embodiment instead of the one drilling or the one loop each can have two or more drillings or loops. This embodiment is advantageous because the device, being free-hanging, inclines less to rotation than with a drilling or a loop.
In the inside, the device is preferably coated with a soft material in order to protect the spectacles. Preferred variants of the coating materials are cloth, foam, fleece.
The device covers preferably between 80 to 20% of the inserted spectacles, in a variant between 90 to 50%, in another modification between 10 to 50%, in a further variant between 65 to 35%.
Another variant of the device covers the whole spectacles either in a flush manner or such that the spectacles are recessed.
In a modification it is possible that the front or the rear side reach or surmount the complete length of the spectacles, not however the other side. Thus, the spectacles can be protected by the device on one side, however be exposed on the other side.
This simplifies in particular the withdrawal of the spectacles and is advantageous, if the user appreciates quick and comfortable withdrawal.
The device can be provided such that the spectacles can be inserted with the spectacle glasses in direction to the front side or that it is inserted with the spectacle glasses in direction of the rear side or in such a manner that it doesn't matter if the spectacles are inserted with the spectacles glasses in direction of the front or the rear side.
b) A device, such as described under point a), wherein the front side is formed completely or partly open. Preferably it is arranged partly open with a remaining edge which can be up to 20% of the imaginary front side.
The edge, variable in its width, can be differing by functional reasons, for example a little bit deeper drawn at the top than on the sides, or it can be artificially formed, for example in wave form.
c) A horizontal, longitudinal device for wearing spectacles, which at its top has an opening, which can be closed by a lug and/or a lid.
The lid preferably covers the whole width of the device, at least however a width which conforms to the opening covered by the lid. The opening has to have a width such that the spectacles can fit through. It is possible to dispose the opening with an edge a little bit surmounting the interior.
The lid is movably fixed with preference at the upper edge of the rear side of the device.
In a preferred embodiment the front side of the device has only half the size of the rear side. Thus the insertion of the spectacles into the device is facilitated.
The lid can be fixed by any common method at the front side of the device, preferred are press buttons, snap locks or hook and loop fasteners.
Instead of the lid a lug can be applied such that it runs from the upper edge of the rear side via the middle of the spectacles to the front side. The fixing of the lug at the front side takes place in the same manner than that of the lid. Alternatively to one lug one may also use two lugs.
The lug(s) can be arbitrarily be modified in its width. If the lug runs over the total width of the device, the lug conforms to a lid. It is preferred that the lug has a width of 1 to 3 cm being attached such, that it runs over the middle of the inserted spectacles.
The lid as well as the lug can be produced from a non flexible material, such as metal or synthetics, or also from a flexible soft material such as (imitation) leather.
At its upper end or on its rear side the device has a holding or a fixing element.
The holding element or the fixing element at the upper end of the device is preferably a loop or a drilling, which can be designed as being protrudent or embedded low lying/recessed for the support of a chain, a ribbon or a wire; the holding or fixing element at the rear side of the device is preferably a safety-pin system, a hook and loop system, a counter system with magnets, a clip or a spring system, the latter in particular in form of a hair pin. That means that the loop or the drilling in this case is hereby on the long side of the device.
In another preferred embodiment instead of the one drilling or the one loop each can have two or more drillings or loops. This embodiment is advantageous because the device, being free-hanging, inclines less to rotation than having a drilling or a loop.
In the inside the device can have a holding mechanism for spectacles, the holding mechanism being based in particular on clips, springs and/or magnets.
In this device the spectacles are horizontally arranged so that the spectacles glasses lie side by side.
In the inside, the device is preferably coated with a soft material in order to protect the spectacles. Preferred variants of the coating materials are cloth, foam, fleece.
The device covers preferably between 90 to 55% of the inserted spectacles, in a variant between 80 to 60% with regard to the device without lid and/or lug.
The device can be provided such that the spectacles can be inserted with the spectacle glasses in direction to the front side or that it is inserted with the spectacle glasses in direction of the rear side or in such a manner that it does not matter if the spectacles are inserted with the spectacles glasses in direction to the front or to the rear side.
d) A device as described under c), however in vertical design.
That means that the loop(s) or the drilling(s) are here on the short side of the device. The device is open downward.
The device covers preferably between 80 to 20% of the inserted spectacles, in a variant between 90 to 50%, in another modification between 10 to 50%, in a further variant between 65 to 35%.
Another modification of the device covers the whole spectacles either in a flush manner or such that the spectacles are recessed.
In a further variant it is possible that the front or the rear side reach or surmount the complete length of the spectacles, not however the other side. Thus, the spectacles can be protected by the device on one side, however exposed on the other side. This simplifies in particular the withdrawal of the glasses and is advantageous, if the user appreciates quick and comfortable withdrawal.
In a preferred embodiment of the present invention, in all modifications, in particular in the variants a), b), c) and/or d), the loop or the drilling can, instead of from the front to the rear side, run longitudinally, i.e. when viewing to the direction of the front side of the device, from left to right through the device or its rear side or it can be disposed at or along the upper edge of the device, for example in form of a tube or a ring, which, if desired, can be provided with openings. It may have a completely thorough drilling from left to right or, in case that the device has deepenings, elevations and/or recesses, for example because of esthetic or practical shaping, it may even have a multiple drilling through several or all deepenings, elevations and/or recesses. Of course these drillings can start at the extreme left as well as at the extreme right edges or optionally as well on one or on both sides, shifted inward.
This device of the present invention is called a device with a longitudinal hanging. Thus, the present invention also comprises devices for spectacles with longitudinal suspension. Else the device can have all characteristics mentioned in the description or can be combined therewith.
It is possible to combine the holding or fixing elements at the upper end with those which are arranged on the rear side of the device thus making possible a double fixing.
With regard to these devices, “above” means the side of the device with the loops or the drilling, “rear side” is the side directed to the body of the wearer and “front side” the side which is turned away from the wearer.
In case that the spectacles are completely covered by the variants a), c) and d), they can also be worn by way of a lug which can be wrapped for example around the wrist of the wearer. In this case, the terms front side and rear side are not distinguishable, because the device is worn hanging freely.
All embodiments a), b), c) and d) may of course be embellished in different ways.
The possibilities of designing the individual pieces of the four variants a), b), c) and d), such as a holding device or the similar are the same as mentioned above in this description.
Even a reduced form of the device according to the invention is possible. The device according to the invention then has not got any case, but consists of a structure component for the fixing of the spectacles, preferably a magnet, and a structure component or a structure unit for the wearing of the device. The last mentioned component or component unit can be arranged in form of a chain, a clip, a safety pin or the similar, whereby one variant can be arranged as clip holder in form of a ball pen clip; this embodiment is pinned on a bag, so that from the outside the impression of a pen or the similar being in the bag is aroused.

The exterior case 7 consists of a wear-resistant material. Hereby all common synthetics or composite materials from the group of synthetics, metals or ceramic materials may be used. The presently described form of the exterior case 7 has a rectangular profile-form design. On the close side of the u-profile, a drilling is disposed at the upper side described as drilling 2. This is meant for the insertion of a chain, a ribbon or of similar flexible or non flexible materials. The opening 9 of the spectacle frame 7 shows downward. The spectacle frame 3 lies on a soft material 8 with which the exterior case 7 is coated. Between the exterior case 7 and the soft tissue material 8, elastic and foamed materials 5, if desired containing synthetics, are arranged on the narrow sides 10, which are deformable on light pressure. By insertion of the spectacle frame 3 into the u-profile of the exterior case 7, the elastic, foamed and, if desired, synthetic-containing material 5 is pressed together by the movement of the spectacles and light pressure. If the spectacles are in the end position, the elastic, and, if desired, synthetic-containing foamed material 5 expands back into the original position thus holding the spectacle frame. In addition, on at least one side at the opening 9 is a flat spring 6, which is separated from the spectacles 3 by the soft material 8, in order not to damage the spectacles. If the spectacles 3 have reached the end position, the glass of the spectacles is held in the exterior case 7 by the flat spring 6.

The elastic and soft material can be the same or different, or there may be two layers of the same material, shown in the drawings separated from each other only for illustrative reasons.
The opening as a loop or a drilling (2) can also run longitudinally through the body or the rear side instead of from the front side to the rear side, i.e. over the long side of the device (that means not along or through (10)).

1. Device for spectacles wherein the device consists of a single-piece or multi-piece case, a body, in particular a planar body or the similar for the fixture and/or holding of the folded spectacles.
2. Device for spectacles according to claim 1 wherein the device consists of a single piece case for spectacles, whereby fixtures are designed in the case in order to prevent the falling out of the spectacles.
3. Device for spectacles according to claim 1 wherein the spectacle case completely covers the spectacles.
4. Device for spectacles according to claim 1 wherein the spectacle case only partly covers the spectacles.
5. Device for spectacles according to claim 1 wherein the spectacles case is designed of metallic, non metallic composite compounds or mixtures thereof.
6. Device for spectacles according to claim 1 wherein the spectacle case may consist of noble metals from the group of gold, platinum, silver, alloys of these with further metals or mixtures of these.
7. Device for spectacles according to claim 1 wherein the fixture to be used can be from the groups of magnetic supports, spring mechanisms, hooks, lugs or the similar.
8. Device for spectacles according to claim 1 wherein magnetic fixtures are designed as preferable fixture in the spectacle case.
9. Device for spectacles according to claim 1 wherein the spectacle case is open downward and that is has at its upper side an opening for the fixture of a chain, a ribbon, a thread or similar flexible materials.
10. Device for spectacles according to claim 1 wherein the holding fixture is designed as three dimensional body.
11. Device for spectacles according to claim 1 wherein the three dimensional body is magnetic.
12. Device for spectacles according to claim 1 wherein the three dimensional body is designed at its front side with fixtures to which the spectacles are detachably connected with the body and at its down side connected detachably with the tissue by means of a clamp, a magnet, safety pin systems, clips or the similar.

Vertical, longitudinal device (1), open downward, for wearing spectacles, the openings (9) of which are designed in an oval or rectangular manner so that it can hold folded spectacles, whereby the device has a holding mechanism in its interior, and at its upper end or at its rear side has as holding or fixing element.
14. Device according to claim 13 wherein the holding or fixing element at the upper end of the device is a loop or a drilling (2).
15. Device according to claim 13 wherein the device is coated in its interior with a soft material (5), (8) for the protection of the spectacles.
16. Device according to claim 13 wherein the inserted spectacles are covered by the device from between 80 to 20%, in a modification between 90 to 50%, in another modification between 10 to 50% and in a further variant between 65 to 35%.
17. Device according to claim 13 wherein the device covers the whole spectacles either in a flush manner or such that the spectacles are recessed.
18. Device according to claim 13 wherein the front side is designed as being completely or partly open.
19. Horizontal, longitudinal device (1) for wearing spectacles which at its upper end has an opening and which opening can be closed by a lug (13) and/or a lid (13), whereby the device at its upper end or on its rear side has a holding or fixing element.
20. Device according to claim 19 wherein the holding or fixing element at upper end of the device is a loop or a drilling (2) being at the long side of the device.
21. Device according to claim 19 wherein it has in its interior a holding mechanisms for spectacles.
22. Device according to claim 19 wherein the device is coated in its interior with a soft material (5), (8) for the protection of the spectacles.
23. Device according to claim 19 wherein it is differently designed in a vertical manner, whereby the loop or the drilling (2) is hereby at the short side of the device (1) and whereby the device is open downward.
24. Device according to claim 1 wherein it has a longitudinal hanging.
