TOILET BOWL

The invention relates to a bathroom toilet bowl with a water flush tank, a urinal, a seat and a cover. So that the toilet bowl is known for improved technical and hygienic properties, along with complete protection against soiling of the toilet seat and the surroundings of the toilet bowl, the urinal additionally has a hollow half-ring, arranged in the upper portion of the urinal. This half-ring repeats the shape of this portion of the urinal. The half-ring has a slit cut out along its entire inside, and in the course of using the urinal, water in the form of a continuous water curtain flows out over this slit. The water is conveyed by means of a faucet (handle) into the half-ring via a flexible hose. The hose is connected by means of a transition piece to a flexible main hose for supplying the toilet bowl with water.

BACKGROUND

The invention relates to a toilet bowl in accordance with the preamble of claim 1.

The invention can be employed in technical sanitary installations, and, in particular, relates to toilet bowl installations employing water.

Screens, which have an upper plate, are known for protection against spray from a toilet bowl. The upper plate is fastened with the aid of a holding element on the inner side of the lower portion of the seat. The upper plate, consisting of a hinged element, is fastened on the bottom [U.S. Pat. No. 6,550,075 B1]. The lower plate is fastened at the top of the hinged element, and its lower element is lowered onto the toilet bowl. The edges of the lateral walls of the plate are fastened on the upper and lower plate.

The disadvantage of this protective screen is its insufficient protection, because there is no rear wall and no system for cleaning the screen (removal of splatters) is provided. This means that the hygienic performance of this system is essentially poor.

Furthermore, a urinal for a toilet bowl employing water is known, having a seat, a lid and lateral walls made of an easily foldable material. The lateral walls are embodied in such a way that their edges can be fastened. This urinal also contains a flexible curtain, which is embodied to be lowered to the toilet bowl in order to close the gap (RU 2371553). In addition, the urinal has a ring. The fan-shaped lateral walls are fastened with their edges on the top of the ring from above. The ring has the same configuration as the seat and is provided with a bent-off edge.

The disadvantages of this urinal lie in the need for erecting it, as well as in the difficulties occurring in connection with the disposal of its one-way version. Generally, this urinal is not user-friendly.

It is the object of the invention to develop a toilet bowl with improved technical and hygienic properties, while assuring complete protection of the toilet seat and the vicinity of the toilet bowl against soiling, in particular, when it is used by men.

The intended object is attained by means of the characteristics of claim 1.

It is evident that the invention is, in any case, realized if a conventional urinal has means suitable for forming a preferably shallow water layer on the entry side of the urinal, which prevents urine splattering or ricocheting from the interior wall of the urinal from reaching the outside.

This is achieved in particular in a toilet bowl with a water flush tank, a urinal, a seat and a cover. In this case, the urinal has a hollow half-ring arranged in the upper part of the urinal. The hollow half-ring has a slit, cut out along its entire inside. In the course of using the urinal, the water flows over this slit in the form of a water curtain, and is conveyed via a faucet (handle) through a flexible hose to the half-ring. In this case the hose is connected by means of a transition piece with a flexible main hose for providing the toilet bowl with water.

The technical result consists in the improvement of the hygienic properties of the toilet bowl.

The technical result is achieved as follows:

The urinal of the toilet bowl has a hollow half-ring arranged thereon, with a narrow slit cut out from the inside of the half-ring. When the toilet bowl is used by men standing before the toilet bowl, the water reaches the half-ring through this narrow slit under pressure. The water enters the toilet bowl over the entire length of the narrow slit of the half-ring. In the process, the water covers the horizontal surface of the toilet bowl in the form of a thin curtain, and in this way prevents the splattering of urine when the toilet bowl is used by men standing before it. The pressure of the stream of urine is greater than the pressure of the water curtain exiting from the slit of the half-ring. Because of this, the stream of urine overcomes the water curtain without problems. In this way, the water curtain covers the horizontal surface of the bowl of the toilet and prevents urine from splattering. This contributes to an increase in the hygienic properties of a toilet bowl of such a structure.

The hollow ring is connected with a flexible hose by means of a transition piece. The flexible hose is used for conveying water to the toilet bowl. This makes it possible to conduct the water directly to the narrow slit of the half-ring via a further flexible hose. The water is introduced into the center of the half-ring with the aid of an additional faucet (handle), which is arranged on a transition piece.

Further advantageous embodiments of the toilet bowl can be taken from the dependent claims.

SUMMARY

The invention relates to a bathroom toilet bowl with a water flush tank, a urinal, a seat and a cover. So that the toilet bowl is known for improved technical and hygienic properties, along with complete protection against soiling of the toilet seat and the surroundings of the toilet bowl, it is provided in accordance with the invention that the urinal additionally has a hollow half-ring, which is arranged in the upper portion of the urinal, that this half-ring repeats the shape of this portion of the urinal, that the half-ring has a slit, cut out along its entire inside, and that in the course of using the urinal, water in the form of a continuous water curtain flows out over this slit, and that the water is conveyed by means of a faucet (handle) into the half-ring via a flexible hose, and the hose is connected by means of a transition piece to a flexible main hose for supplying the toilet bowl with water.

DESCRIPTION

The device is used in the following manner: The water is conveyed into the toilet bowl 3 with the aid of the faucet (handle) 6. The water reaches the toilet bowl 3 through the flexible hose 7. It is conducted to the hollow half-ring 5. From there, the water reaches the space of the toilet bowl 3 under pressure and covers the horizontal surface of the toilet bowl with a thin water curtain. When the urine stream reaches the toilet bowl 3, this water curtain prevents a formation of urine splatters. The formation of the water curtain appears to be the most elegant solution of the problem addressed here. However, the solution in accordance with the invention could also consist in, for example, creating several separate flat water streams toward the center of the toilet bowl, where they fall. In this process, they form a central sheet-like portion made of water, which catches the urine stream.

The proposed attainment makes it possible to obtain the technical result and to assure high technical effects when using the toilet bowl.
