Eyeglass and sunglass display and carrying case

This invention provides for the efficient transport and storage of multiple pairs of eyeglasses and/or sunglasses along with miscellaneous items. In addition, it provides security for the contents and allows for the quick inventory of the items it contains. The invention is designed using lightweight, durable materials allowing for both ease of use and long-term durability.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

Traditionally, eyeglasses and sunglasses are put in drawers, left out, or put in places where they are forgotten. Under these conditions, the glasses are often damaged or lost. This invention provides an environment where the glasses (along with peripheral items) can be safely stored, transported and inventoried.

BRIEF SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

A product to safely house, carry and inventory eyeglasses and sunglasses along with storage for miscellaneous items. The intent is to prevent damage, display contents clearly, transport and keep track of glasses while providing security to the contents.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

This invention consists of the following components and performs in the following manner; whereas a base unit is comprised of a storage drawer with locking mechanism and drawer pull and whereas eyeglasses and sunglasses rest on inclined “wave” display section for viewing and recognition and on which clear housings shall be attached to individual “wave” sections in which to insert labels for inventory and tracking purposes and whereas “wave” display section shall be securely attached to top of base unit and whereas lid is comprised of clear view material on top for viewing and locking mechanism and whereas lid is secured to base unit with hinges and whereas material used to line all interior surfaces (clear view lid material excepted) shall be a soft, non-scratch type and whereas all exterior surfaces shall be of a durable, washable material and whereas all structural materials used to assemble case shall be of a durable, rigid, lightweight type and whereas all locking mechanisms shall be keyed alike.
