HOUSING STRUCTURE

A housing structure includes a housing, a holding member, a first stop portion and a second stop portion. The housing has an accommodating space. The holding member, movably disposed in the accommodating space between a first position and a second position, includes an operating portion and a limiting portion connected with the operating portion. The first stop portion is disposed in the accommodating space, and the second stop portion is disposed in the accommodating space and below the first stop portion. When the holding member is in the first position, the operating portion abuts the first stop portion, and when the holding member is in the second position, the limiting portion abuts the second stop portion.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

1. Field of the Invention

This invention generally relates to a housing structure and more particularly to a housing structure including hidden holding members.

2. Description of the Related Art

FIG. 1 shows a conventional housing structure. Referring to FIG. 1, a conventional housing structure 10 usually has holding members 12 on both sides of a housing 11 for convenience of carrying and transporting. The holding member 12 on the housing 11 is rotatable. When carrying, the holding members 12 can be rotated outward for a user to conveniently hold. When storing, the holding members 12 can be hidden in recesses 13 in the housing 11. However, the holding members 12 disposed at sides of the housing 11 are stressed in a direction not perpendicular to a horizontal plane. Therefore, the holding members 12 can only be used for a housing structure storing objects with light weight.

BRIEF SUMMARY OF INVENTION

The invention provides a housing structure including a housing, a holding member, a first stop portion and a second stop portion. The housing has an accommodating space. The holding member, movably disposed in the accommodating space between a first position and a second position, includes an operating portion and a limiting portion connected with the operating portion. The first stop portion is disposed in the accommodating space, and the second stop portion is disposed in the accommodating space and below the first stop portion. When the holding member is in the first position, the operating portion abuts the first stop portion, and when the holding member is in the second position, the limiting portion abuts the second stop portion.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF INVENTION

FIGS. 2A and 2B show sketch diagrams of a housing structure of the invention. Referring to FIGS. 2A and 2B, the housing structure 100 of the invention can be a server including a housing 110 and two holding members 120. The housing 110 includes two accommodating space 111. The two holding members 120 are disposed on opposite sides of the housing 110 and are movably disposed in the accommodating space 111. As shown in FIG. 2A, the holding member 120 can be disposed at a first position to be hidden in the housing 110, or when the server is going to be carried by a user, the holding member 120 can be pulled out to be disposed at a second position from the accommodating space 111 for convenience of transporting the housing structure 100, as shown in FIG. 2B.

FIGS. 3A˜3C are sketch diagrams showing the holding member disposed at a first position, a second position and a third position. Referring to FIG. 3A˜3C, the housing structure 100 further includes a first stop portion 131, a second stop portion 132, a pair of first position fixing portions 141 and a pair of second position fixing portions 142 in each accommodating space 111. The holding member 120 comprises an operating portion 121 and a limiting portion 122, wherein the operating portion 121 has an angle R for a user to conveniently raise the operating portion 121 to a level where the angle R is located. The limiting portion 122 is connected to the operating portion 121. The limiting portion 122 is operated in coordination with the first position fixing portion 141 and the second position fixing portion 142 to limit locating positions of the holding member 120.

The first stop portion 131 is disposed in the accommodating space 111, the second stop portion 132 is disposed below the first stop portion 131, the first position fixing portion 141 is disposed below the second stop portion 132, and the second position fixing portion 142 is disposed below the first position fixing portion 141. The limiting portion 122 of the holding member 120 is movable among the second stop portion 132, the first position fixing portion 141 and the second position fixing portion 142. The first position fixing portion 141 and the second position fixing portion 142 comprise flexible elastic bumps. When the limiting portion 122 crosses the first position fixing portion 141 or the second position fixing portion 142, the holding member 120 can be fixed at the first position (as shown in FIG. 3A), at the second position (as shown in FIG. 3B) or at the third position (as shown in FIG. 3C), respectively.

As shown in FIG. 3A, when the holding member 120 is disposed at the first position, the operating portion 121 abuts the first stop portion 131 to prevent the holding member 120 from excessively falling into the accommodating space 111. At this moment, the operating portion 121 is disposed outside the accommodating space 111 for a user to conveniently raise the holding member 120 by grabbing the operating portion 121. The limiting portion 122 is limited to be below the second position fixing portion 142 by the second position fixing portion 142. Before the limiting portion 122 is raised to cross the second position fixing portion 142, the holding member 120 can be fixed at the first position and is not moved in the accommodating space 111 when the housing structure shakes.

As shown in FIG. 3B, a user can raise the holding member 120 so that the limiting portion 122 crosses the second position fixing portion 142 to be located at the third position. At this moment, the limiting portion 122 is limited between the first position fixing portion 141 and the second position fixing portion 142.

Or, as shown in FIG. 3C, a user can completely raise the holding member 120 so that the limiting portion 122 crosses the first position fixing portion 141 to be located at the second position. At this moment, the limiting portion 122 abuts the second stop portion 132, wherein the second stop portion 132 can prevent the holding member 120 from moving out of the accommodating space 111. When the limiting portion 122 cross the first position fixing portion 141, the limiting portion 122 is fixed between the first position fixing portion 141 and the second stop portion 132 with the help of the first position fixing portion 141.

It is noted that in an another embodiment, the invention can optionally increase a plurality of position fixing portions between the first position fixing portion 141 and the second position fixing portion 142 for the holding member 120 to have more fixing positions. In addition, in a further embodiment of the invention, the first stop portion 131, the second stop portion 132, the first position fixed portion 141 and the second position fixed portion 142 can be disposed at any surface in the accommodating space 111, and is not limited to the surface shown in FIGS. 3A˜3C.

The holding member 120 of the housing structure 100 vertically moves in the accommodating space 111, which is stressed in a direction perpendicular to a horizontal plane, such that a greater weight can be endured. In addition, a user can take out the holding member 120 at the position over the housing 110. Therefore, a neighboring space of the housing 110 can be used more flexibly.

While the invention has been described by way of example and in terms of the preferred embodiments, it is to be understood that the invention is not limited to the disclosed embodiments. It is intended to cover various modifications and similar arrangements (as would be apparent to those skilled in the art). Therefore, the scope of the appended claims should be accorded the broadest interpretation so as to encompass all such modifications and similar arrangements.

Claims

1. A housing structure, comprising:

a housing comprising an accommodating space;
a holding member, movably disposed in the accommodating space between a first position and a second position, including an operating portion and a limiting portion connected with the operating portion;
a first stop portion disposed in the accommodating space; and
a second stop portion disposed in the accommodating space and below the first stop portion,
wherein when the holding member is in the first position, the operating portion abuts the first stop portion, and when the holding member is in the second position, the limiting portion abuts the second stop portion.

The housing structure as claimed in claim 1, further comprising a first position fixing portion and a second position fixing portion, wherein the first position fixing portion is disposed below the second stop portion, and the second position fixing portion is disposed below the first position fixing portion, and when the holding member is disposed in the first position, the limiting portion is limited to be below the second position fixing portion.

3. The housing structure as claimed in claim 2, wherein the first position fixing portion includes an elastic bump.

4. The housing structure as claimed in claim 2, wherein when the holding member is disposed in the second position, the limiting portion is limited to be between the first position fixing portion and the second stop portion.

5. The housing structure as claimed in claim 4, wherein when the holding member is disposed in the third position, the limiting portion is limited to be between the first position fixing portion and the second position fixing portion.

6. The housing structure as claimed in claim 4, wherein the second position fixing portion includes a elastic bump.

7. The housing structure as claimed in claim 1, wherein the operating portion has an angle R.
