Car trash bag (CTB)

The Car Trash Bag is a waste receptacle for installation inside a car and on the back of passenger or driver car seat to allow all passengers to dump in their trash. It comprises three parts, a) Lower Frame which fixes by headrest and always is in place and holds trash bag, b) Upper Lid which is an open top lid and entangles trash bag and c) Disposable Trash Bag which is a recycled plastic grocery bag or any kind of small trash bag. When the trash bag becomes full of garbage, the Upper Lid will be raised by removing it from Lower Frame and trash bag gets out from underside and a new trash bag will be replaced.

Description
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

1. Field of the Invention

This invention relates to the car trash bag. There are no waste receptacles inside the cars and vehicles, so car passengers have nowhere to dump in their garbage except for the car floor. This invention will allow all passengers inside the car to dispose of their trash in a recycled plastic grocery bag or disposable trash bag which is extremely inexpensive and easy to use.

2. Describe of Related Art

All the other inventions regarding this field of art seem having some issues like being expensive, lack of manufacturability, difficult to use, low limited trash space and lack of efficiency.

BRIEF SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

There are 62 million registered cars in the USA till 2010 which none of them have any kind of trash cans. In this condition, when car passengers need to dispose of trash, there is nowhere to get rid of them, and so car passengers mainly throw them on the car floor under their feet. This would cause the inside of the car looks disorganized and disheveled.

There is not a lot room to place a regular trash can in compact cars, so it is necessary to have a trash can which is very small and at hand reach for every passenger even the driver while she/he is driving the car. This invention has a strong response to all manufacturability, inexpensiveness, great efficiency as describes below.

There are two kinds of advantages for two groups of adherents, for consumers and for manufacturing purposes.

For consumers these advantages are: efficiency, easy to install and use, at hand reach, all kind of recycled grocery bag usability, durability and weight sustainability, being small and inexpensiveness.

For manufacturing purposes these advantages are: no close competitor, extensive market share expectation, compatible with all cars with headrest, easy to packaging and transportation to market, no assembly process requiring.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

FIG. 1 illustrates Car Trash Bag installation view on the back of a car seat.

Front view and side-back view of Car Trash Bag are shown on FIG. 2 and FIG. 3.

Car Trash Bag (CTB) includes Lower Frame CTB, Upper Lid CTB and a disposable trash bag. Exploded view and sections' names are shown on FIG. 4. Both Lower Frame CTB and Upper Lid CTB are U cross-sectional, semi-oval shaped frames and are made of Plastic Materials which are moldable. The shape, dimensions and materials have been selected in conditions to meet all requirements regarding to strength, flexibility, efficiency and beauty.

Lower Frame CTB has a projection in its outer wall and Upper Lid CTB has an internal notch in its inner wall (Please see FIG. 5). This projection and notch will latch in each other and hold and entangle the disposable trash bag in place (like Tupperware food container).

To install Lower Frame CTB in position, the car headrest should pull out. To do this, all cars have a push-button under the headrest (Please see FIG. 6). By pushing it and raising the headrest toward upward the headrest will get out easily.

Lower Frame CTB has two oval loops which are designed in proper position to install on headrest poles in passenger or driver seat (Please see FIG. 4). After positioning the Lower Frame CTB on top of the car seat and replacing the headrest, Lower Frame CTB will be fixed and in place (Please see FIG. 7). Lower Frame CTB is always in its position and never gets out of the car seat.

Now it is possible to put in and enclose a disposable trash bag inside the Lower Frame CTB and folding it around the frame (Please see FIG. 8). After doing this, the Upper Lid CTB will align on top of the trash bag and by pushing it against Lower Frame CTB by finger tips they will lock together (Please see FIG. 5). The middle of Upper Lid CTB is open top and hollow and allows car passengers to dump in their trash (Please see FIG. 4). CTB is ready to use.

When the trash bag becomes full of trash, by grabbing finger knobs (Please see FIG. 4) on Lower Frame CTB and Upper Lid CTB and pushing them apart, the trash bag will get out from underside of Lower Frame CTB and it is possible to put in a new disposable trash bag and use it again.

Claims

1. A Car Trash bag is a waste receptacle which installs on the back of passenger or driver car seat. It comprises of three plastic parts.

a) A Lower Frame CTB, this part has a main role in installation on a car seat and holding disposable plastic bag. It has two oval loops to adjust in all cars which grips by the poles of headrest and fixes by headrest in place. It has a U cross-section, semi-oval shaped circumference with a projection in its outer wall which entangles the disposable trash bag in contact with Upper Lid CTB. This U cross-section semi-oval shaped circumference reaches to two oval loops by two I cross-section blades. It has a finger knob to allow the consumer to open it.
b) An Upper Lid CTB, this part has a U cross-section, semi-oval shaped circumference which is match with Lower Frame CTB. It is an open-top part to allow the consumer to dump in waste and trash. It has an internal notch in its inner wall which latches with Lower Frame CTB projection and entangles a disposable trash bag in between. It has a finger knob to allow the consumer to open it.
c) A disposable plastic bag, which is a receptacle for trash and waste. It is thin and its open top circumference would be greater than 20 inches. For commercial purposes, it is possible to print some advertisements on its exterior.

2. The Car Trash Bag of claim 1, wherein, the Lower Frame CTB and Upper lid CTB are made of flexible plastics like polypropylene or polyethylene or even ABS to refrain from breaking.

3. The Car Trash Bag of claim 1, wherein, after installing this Car Trash Bag on a car seat all passengers can dump in trash in it. When its disposable trash bag becomes full, by parting the Upper Lid from Lower Frame by using finger knobs it is possible to remove trash bag from underside (the Lower Frame CTB is always in place) and replace a new trash bag and latch the Upper Lid CTB again.

4. The Car Trash Bag of claim 1, wherein, is manufacturable and moldable and all Figs in this document are made by a 3D modeling software.

5. This invention can easily use in other areas. By changing the Lower Frame CTB stands (oval loops) from horizontal to vertical stand and using vacuum cups, magnets and or other attaching instruments we will be able to install it on all walls for all transportation fleets like, airplanes, trains, public buses and so on.

6. We can make this CTB bigger with proper attach-to-wall device (like slider bracket, screw-to-wall type) and use it in kitchens, malls, hospitals, offices and any other public areas.
