Disclosed is a pillow whose inner portion is constructed of two layers, an upper layer which is in contact with a user's head having a functional material such as a bead foam therein and a lower layer which is in contact with a floor or the bottom having a cushion member such as cotton, latex foam, and memory foam therein, so that the pillow has an advantage of the functional material, thereby increasing a user's health and has no difficulty of keeping a shape, thereby obtaining an excellent supportability, having a good cushion feeling and saving cost.

Description
TECHNICAL FIELD

The present invention relates to a pillow, and more particularly to a pillow whose inner portion is constructed of two layers, an upper layer which is in contact with a user's head having a bead foam therein and a lower layer which is in contact with the floor or the bottom having a cushion member therein, so that the pillow has an advantage of the bead foam and has no difficulty of keeping a shape, thereby obtaining an excellent supportability, having a good cushion feeling and saving cost.

BACKGROUND ART

Generally, a pillow in the art is comprised of an outer pillow cover and the stuffing of a pillow, and the stuffing of a pillow can be only a single material such as cotton, some kinds of sponges, buckwheat, and bead foam.

However, when such a pillow in the art was filled with only a bead foam material, there was a problem that users who got used to a pillow having a cushion member therein might feel hard.

Further, when such a pillow having a single layer structure was filled with only a cushion member such as cotton, sponge and latex foam, there was a problem that the pillow could not have advantages and effects of bead foam or the like.

Further, when the pillow was filled with only materials such as bead foam or the like, there were problems that it was not easy to keep a shape, the pillow weighed too much when it was large in size, and the cost became high since the functional material of bead foam was much filled.

SUMMARY OF INVENTION Technical Problem

The present invention provides a pillow whose inner portion is constructed of two layers, an upper layer which is in contact with a user's head having a functional material such as bead foam therein and a lower layer which is in contact with a floor or the bottom having a cushion member such as cotton, latex foam, and a memory foam therein, so that the pillow has an advantage of the functional material and a cushion feeling, thereby increasing a user's health, and has no difficulty of keeping a shape, thereby obtaining an excellent supportability, having a good cushion feeling and saving cost.

Solution to Problem

According to the present invention, the pillow includes a division member inside an outer pillow cover, having a two layer structure formed of a first space portion and a second space portion, both space portions being separated with each other.

Further, according to the present invention, there is a spare portion in the outer pillow cover, thereby preventing materials such as bead foam from being pushed into one side.

Further, according to the present invention, the first space portion is used to fill the bead foam as the stuffing of a pillow, and the second space portion is used to fill the cushion member such as cotton, latex foam or memory foam as he stuffing of a pillow.

Advantageous Effects of Invention

According to the pillow of the present invention, since an inner portion of the outer pillow cover has a two layer structure instead of filling the pillow with a single material, which is different from the pillow in the art, it is possible to maintain an advantage of the functional material such as the bead foam, and since there is a spare portion in the outer pillow cover to prevent the material from being pushed to any direction, there is an excellent supportability. Further, since a cushion member having a good cushion feeling, which, is cheap and is easy to keep a shape is used, there is an effect that shape keeping and cushion feeling are good and the cost can be saved.

Hereinbefore, while the embodiments of the present invention are described, they are exemplary ones only and one of ordinary skill in the art may recognize that various alterations and modifications that fall within the scope of the present disclosure may be possible. Accordingly, the true technical protection scope of the present disclosure should be defined by the following claims.

DESCRIPTION OF EMBODIMENTS

Hereinafter, preferred embodiments of the present disclosure will be described with reference to the accompanying drawings.

As illustrated in FIGS. 1 to 5, in a first embodiment of the present invention, a pillow 100 includes an outer pillow cover 110 and a division member 120, wherein there are formed a first space portion 210 and a second space portion 220 between the outer pillow cover 110 and the division member 120, the first and second space portions being separated with each other.

Here, a division member 120 is made inside the outer pillow cover 110 of the pillow 100, and a first space portion 210 and a second space portion 220 are formed in an upper part and a lower part of the division member 120, respectively. So, different stuffing of a pillow can be put into each space portion.

The division member 120 is formed that it is inserted into the outer pillow cover 110 and edges of three portions of it except a feeding entrance are sewn to the outer pillow cover 110 so that two spaces separated into a first space portion 210 and a second space portion 220 are made.

The first and second space portions 210 and 220 can be filled with materials (the stuffing of a pillow) different with each other.

According to the present invention, when the pillow is filled with only the bead foam as the stuffing of a pillow, a user who has used a pillow into which only a cushion member has been inserted may feel hard since it has a low cushion feeling.

Further, when the bead foam filled inside the pillow is pushed into one side except a head portion of a user, the amount of bead foam that supports head of the user is not sufficient so that it causes inconvenience to the user and it is not easy to keep a shape of the pillow.

Further, when the cushion member is the only material inserted into the pillow, the cost becomes low and it is easy to keep a shape and cushion feeling of the pillow, but it is not good for a user's health.

According to the present invention, the first space portion 210 may be filled with bead foam, ceramic, jade, grain and buckwheat, and the second space portion 220 may have the cushion member 320 inserted into it.

Further, it is desirable that the first space portion 210 is filled with the bead foam 310 as the stuffing of a pillow, and the second space portion 220 is filled with the cushion member 320 as the stuffing of a pillow.

The bead foam 310 may be manufactured of materials such as ceramic, elvan, jade, sericite, nano-silver, clay and red clay.

The elvan, jade, nano-silver and red clay emit far-infrared radiation or anion, whereby mineral flows out, thereby speeding up metabolism and enhancing skin health.

The anion makes blood flow smoothly, strengthens immunity function, speeds up metabolism, gives a lot of energy and purifies the blood, so that it is helpful for nerve stability, fatigue recovery and improvement of appetite, makes our bodies light and gives a comfortable feeling.

The far-infrared radiation eliminates waste in the blood vessel such as extravasated blood and impure blood, speeds up blood circulation and metabolism by revitalizing cells, is helpful for anti-age, fatigue recovery and a sound sleep. Further, it absorbs and decomposes pollutants, germs and heavy metals, thereby obtaining antibiosis, insect-proof, high deodorization ability and dehumidification, and preventing mold from growing.

Further, it is desirable that cotton, latex foam and memory foam are inserted into the pillow as the cushion member 320.

The latex foam is foam produced by foaming an undiluted solution of a rubber tree, and has an excellent antibiosis and is good at elasticity and shape keeping.

The memory foam is a new material developed to protect spine and back of a pilot from gravity occurring when a space shuttle takes off and having an open cell structure with visco-elastic, which is absolutely different from existing shape forming products.

According to pressure alleviating property of the memory foam, the memory foam responds to temperature and weight of a body and is gradually and smoothly shaped along entire contour of a body.

Since such memory foam is slowly and perfectly restored to an original shape when the weight is removed, it provides an individual who wants to have a perfect non-loaded sleep as well as a patent needing a treatment of neck or spine with the best satisfaction by giving them a comfortable sleeping.

That is, a neck region is strengthened during a rest period by building a support on a curve portion of an upper spine, thereby obtaining pressure alleviation and comfortable feeling on the neck region even in different sleeping postures. Due to anatomical shape and a unique pressure alleviating property of such a memory foam pillow, an individual having displeasure on his/her neck and back can take a more comfortable sleep.

Furthermore, since the memory foam has a number of air openings that can be formed when a foaming is formed in the forming body, it has air permeability, can restrain the propagation of germs and dust mites, and accordingly keeps high force of restoration even when it is used for a long time.

Further, it is desirable that the cushion member 320 made of the latex foam or the memory foam is manufactured in a half-cylinder shape as illustrated in FIG. 4.

When the stuffing of a pillow is filled in the manner that the bottom of the cushion member 320 made of the latex foam or the memory foam is flat, there is a space between the pillow 100 and a user's cervical vertebrae region so that the cervical vertebrae is not supported, thereby causing an inconvenience to the user.

Therefore, when the cushion member 320 made of the latex foam or the memory foam is formed in a half-cylinder shape and the stuffing of a pillow is filled such that the round portion of it is in contact with the bottom or floor, both end portions of the pillow 100 are taken off from the bottom, so that when the user rests his/her head on the pillow 100, the pillow 100 and the cervical vertebrae are in contact with each other and the raised end portions move down, whereby the cervical vertebrae can be comfortably supported.

Further, the outer pillow cover 110 has a zipper 111 mounted at feeding entrances of the first space portion 210 and the second space portion 220.

Further, spare portions 230 are formed on both lower end edges of the outer pillow cover 110. When the first space portion 210 is filled with the bead foam 310, the spare portion 230 is filled with the bead foam 310, thereby preventing the material of the first space portion 210 from being pushed to one side.

According to a second embodiment of the present invention as illustrated in FIGS. 6 to 8, a pillow 500 includes an outer pillow cover 510 and division members 400 and 410, wherein there are formed a first space portion 421, a second space portion 422 and a third space portion 423 between the outer pillow cover 510 and the division members 400 and 410, the first, second and third space portions being separated with one another.

FIGS. 6 to 8 illustrate the second embodiment of the present invention, wherein FIG. 6 is a perspective view of the present invention; FIG. 7 is a partial perspective view of the present invention; and FIG. 8 is a perspective view illustrating that the pillow of the present invention is filled with the stuffing of a pillow. As illustrated in the figures, in the second embodiment of the present invention, it is possible that the pillow 500 is manufactured in a cylindrical shape such that an outer portion of it is filled with the functional material and a cushion or the like is inserted into a center portion of it.

Further, the division member 400 is manufactured in the cylindrical pillow 500 so as to form a first space portion 421 and a second space portion 422, thereby preventing the functional material from being pushed down.

The third space portion 423 may be formed in the middle of the cylindrical pillow 500, into which the cushion material 320 such as cotton, latex foam and memory foam may be inserted.

It is desirable that the first and second space portions 421 and 422 are filled with the bead foam 310 as the stuffing of a pillow, and the third space portion 423 has the cushion member 320 inserted thereto as the stuffing of a pillow.

Further, the first, second and third space portions 421, 422 and 423 have zippers 111 mounted on their feeding portions, respectively.

Accordingly, the pillow of the present invention is not limited to a single material such as cotton, sponges, buckwheat and bead foam as the stuffing of a pillow, which is different from the pillow in the art. Further, since an inner portion of the outer pillow cover has a two layer structure, an advantage of the functional material can be maintained and there is no difficulty of keeping a shape of it, so that there are advantages of an excellent supportability and a cushion feeling.

Further, according to the present invention, since two materials, that is, the functional material that is expensive and the cushion member that is light and cheap can be used, there are advantages that the pillow becomes light and the cost can be saved.

Claims

1. A pillow, comprising:

an outer pillow cover; and
a division member,
wherein there are formed a first space portion and a second space portion between the outer pillow cover and the division member, the first and second space portions being separated with each other.

2. The pillow according to claim 1, wherein there is a spare portion on both sides of the output pillow cover.

3. The pillow according to claim 1, wherein the first space portion is filled with a bead foam as the stuffing of a pillow.

4. The pillow according to claim 1, wherein the second space portion is filled with a cushion member as the stuffing of a pillow.

5. The pillow according to claim 4, wherein the cushion member is made of cotton.

6. The pillow according to claim 4, wherein the cushion member is made of latex foam.

7. The pillow according to claim 4, wherein the cushion member is made of a memory foam.

8. The pillow according to claim 6 or 7, wherein the cushion member is formed in a half-cylinder shape whose lower portion is round.

9. The pillow, comprising:

an outer pillow cover; and
division members,
wherein there are formed a first space portion, a second space portion and a third space portion between the outer pillow cover and the division members, the first, second and third space portions being separated with one another.

10. The pillow according to claim 9, wherein the first and second space portions are filled with the bead foam as the stuffing of a pillow.

11. The pillow according to claim 9, wherein the third space portion is filled with the cushion member as the stuffing of a pillow.
