Description
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

1. Field of the Invention

The present invention relates to a seat device, and more particular to a seat device applied to office furniture.

2. Description of Related Art

Among great population of labor staying in office, many people have to seat on office chairs for quite a long time to face the computers during working. Usually, an office chair with a flat seat device makes a person seat thereon feel uncomfortable, causes the spine ache, and leads to inaccurate sitting posture, which might incur various illness. Although some seat devices of conventional office chairs are designed into curved surface, the simple structure of the curved surface is still insufficient to ease the tiredness and to correct a user's sitting posture.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

A main objective of the present invention is to provide a seat device that provides comforting and correcting capabilities.

To achieve the foregoing objective, the seat device comprises a bottom board and a top board secured on the bottom board, where the improvement of the seat device is:

two recesses defined on the top board and adapted to hold the hips.

The two recesses are selectively with round, oval or ellipse top cross-section.

The two recesses are arranged symmetrically to a central line of the seat device at a right side and a left side.

The bottom board has two meshed ventilating holes aligned below the two recesses respectively; each of the two meshed ventilating holes is performed by multiple arc slits in sections arranged concentrically.

The seat device is for chair seat.

The top board has bulged edges at right side, left side and rear side respectively.

The two recesses are tapered downward to perform concave structures.

Further benefits and advantages of the present invention will become apparent after a careful reading of the detailed description with appropriate reference to the accompanying drawings.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS

FIG. 1 is a perspective view of one embodiment of a seat device in accordance with the present invention;

FIG. 2 is an exploded perspective view of the seat device in FIG. 1; and

FIG. 3 is a perspective view of another embodiment of the seat device in accordance with the present invention.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENT

A seat device in the present invention has a bottom board and a top board mounted on the bottom board. The top board has two recesses defined thereon and adapted to partially hold the hip so that the seat device provides comforting and correcting efficiency.

As shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, a preferred embodiment of a seat device 1 in accordance with the present invention comprises a bottom board 1 and a top board 2 secured on the bottom board 1. The top board 2 has two recesses 3 defined thereon and adapted to partially hold hips. The shape of the recesses 3 is selectively with round top cross-section. To fit the hips' shapes, the two recesses 3 are symmetrical to a central line at right side and left side respectively and are tapered downward to perform concave structures respectively. For people in different shapes and sizes, the recesses 3 are selectively with oval or ellipse top cross-section (as shown in FIG. 3).

The bottom board 1 has two meshed ventilating holes 4 right below the recesses 3. Each meshed ventilating hole 4 is performed by multiple arc slits 41 in sections arranged concentrically. When a user sits on the seat device, the meshed ventilating holes 4 have slight deformation corresponding to the recesses 3.

The top board 2 has a soft cushion (not shown), which also has two recesses and a curved surface made of soft cloth, to make people feel comfortable when sitting on the seat device. Optionally, the soft cushion is a flat surface made of cloth material, a curved surface made of net texture, a flat surface made of net texture, a curved surface made of leather, or a flat surface made of leather, to make people feel comfortable when sitting on the seat device.

The top board 2 further has bulged edges 5 at right side, left side and rear side respectively.

Although this invention has been described in its preferred form with a certain degree of particularity, it is understood that the present invention of the preferred form has been made only by way of example and that numerous changes in the details of construction and the combination and arrangement of parts any be resorted to without departing from the spirit and scope of the invention.
