DUST REMOVAL PAPER FOR USE WITH MOP

A dust removal paper for use with a mop is composed of a rectangular main body and two sleeve-joint portions. The sleeve-joint portions are connected with two short sides of the main body separately and each include a sleeve-joint channel. The dust removal paper can be connected with the mop via the sleeve-joint channels for mopping and cleaning the ground or wall. Because the mop does not need tiny hooks for connection with the dust removal paper, the dust removal paper can abut much against the ground or wall to enhance the cleaning efficiency. Besides, when two swing links of the mop pivot 180 degrees to exchange their positions, the dust removal paper can be flipped upside down automatically. It is very convenient in operation.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

1. Field of the Invention

The present invention relates generally to a cleaning apparatus, and more particularly, to a dust removal paper for use with a mop for mopping the wall or the ground.

2. Description of the Related Art

A conventional mop is to work with a disposable dust removal paper and dust removal paper can be adhered to a head portion of the mop. A user can drag the head portion on the ground. The head portion includes a plurality of tiny plastic hooks provided on one surface thereof in contact with the dust removal paper. The plastic hooks can hook the fibers provided on the surface of the dust removal paper, such that the plastic hooks can be fixedly connected with the dust removal paper to prevent them from separation from each other while the user is operating the mop. However, those tiny plastic hooks disable the head portion and the dust removal paper from abutment against the ground to lower the cleaning effect of the dust removal paper. Additionally, it is inconvenient to attach the dust removal paper to the head portion of mop. Thus, the conventional structure of combination of the dust removal paper and the mop should be improved.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

The primary objective of the present invention is to provide a dust removal paper, which can abut much against the ground or the wall for higher cleaning efficiency.

The foregoing objective of the present invention is attained by the dust removal paper composed of a main body and two sleeve-joint portions formed at two ends of the main body. Each of the sleeve-joint portions includes a sleeve-joint channel extending horizontally.

In one embodiment of the present invention, the main body is rectangular and includes two long sides and two short sides. The sleeve-joint portions are connected with the two short sides of the main body separately. The sleeve-joint channels are parallel to the two short sides. Each of the sleeve-joint portions has two gaps formed at two ends thereof separately. The sleeve-joint portions are fixed to the main body via a coupling member having two ends coupled with a top side and a bottom side of the main body separately.

In another embodiment of the present invention, the dust removal paper is made of a thin member in one piece. The thin member includes a wipe portion, two internal coupling portions, two wraparound portions, and two external coupling portions. Each of the internal coupling portions are connected with one of two ends of the wipe portion. Each of the two wraparound portions is connected with one of the internal coupling portions. Each of the two external coupling portions is connected with one of the wraparound portions. The internal and external coupling portions located at the same side of the thin member are fixedly superimposed on each other to enable the wraparound portions to be scrolled to become the sleeve-joint portions. The wraparound portions can be scrolled toward the same direction, or one of them is scrolled upward and the other is scrolled downward.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS

Referring to FIG. 1, a dust removal paper 10 constructed according to a first preferred embodiment of the present invention is composed of a main body 20 and two sleeve-joint portions 30. The detailed descriptions and operations of these elements as well as their interrelations are recited in the respective paragraphs as follows.

The main body 20 is rectangular and is a non-woven or woven fabric made of natural fiber or artificial fiber. As shown in FIG. 2, The main body 20 includes two long sides 22 and two short sides 24.

The sleeve-joint portions 30 are formed at a left end and a right end of the main body 20 and connected with the short sides 24 of the main body 20 separately. Each of the sleeve-joint portions 30 includes a sleeve-joint channel 32 extending horizontally and axially parallel to the short sides 24 of the min body 20, running through a front end and a rear end of the coupling portion 30 and having two gaps 34 formed at front end and a rear end thereof separately.

Referring to FIG. 2, each of the sleeve-joint portions 30 is formed by a coupling member 40 fixed to the main body 20. The coupling member 40 has two ends connected with a top side and a bottom side of the main body 20 separately. In actual production, the coupling members 40 can be interconnected with the main body 20 separately by adhesion, press fit, or stitching.

The dust removal paper 10 is to work with a mop 12 for cleaning, as shown in FIG. 3. The mop 12 includes a head portion 14 and two swing links 16 pivoted to the head portion 14. The two swing links 16 can be inserted into the sleeve-joint channels 32 in such a way that the mop 12 and the dust removal paper 10 can be interconnected with each other. The gaps 34 allow that the sleeve-joint channel 32 is shorter than the shot side 24 of the main body 20, such that the sleeve-joint channels 32 can coordinate with the head portion 14 and the swing links 16.

Because the dust removal paper 10 is connected with the mop 12 via the sleeve-joint channels 32, the head portion 14 does not need to have tiny hooks provided at its bottom side, allowing that the head portion 14 and the dust removal paper 10 can abut against the ground to further enhance the cleaning efficiency. Besides, when the sleeve-joint portions 30 are sleeved onto the two swing links 16, as shown in FIG. 4, the two swing links 16 can pivot toward each other for 180 degrees to exchange their positions. In this way, the dust removal paper 10 can be turned upside down once one side of the main body is dirty, so it is very convenient in operation.

In addition, not limited to the short sides 24, the two sleeve-joint portions 30 can be alternatively mounted on the long sides 22 of the main body 20.

The dust removal paper 10 can have interchangeable structures recited thereinafter. Referring to FIG. 5, a dust removal paper 50 constructed according to a second preferred embodiment of the present invention is similar to the structure of the first embodiment, having a main body 52 and two sleeve-joint portions 54. The difference between the two embodiments lies in that the dust removal paper 50 does not include the aforesaid gaps 34.

Referring to FIG. 6, a dust removal paper 60 constructed according to a third preferred embodiment of the present invention is made of a thin member 60 in one piece. The thin member 60 includes a wipe portion 62, two internal coupling portions 64, two wraparound portions 66, and two external coupling portions 68. The two internal coupling portions 64 are connected with two ends of the wipe portion 62 separately. The wraparound portions 66 are connected with the internal coupling portions 64 separately. The external portions 68 are connected with the wraparound portions 66 separately. During the production, the internal and external portions 64 and 68 located at the same side of the thin member 60 are fixedly superimposed on each other to enable the wraparound portions 66 to be scrolled to function as the above-mentioned sleeve-joint portions and channels of the first embodiment. The wipe portion 62 functions as the above-mentioned main body of the dust removal paper of the first embodiment. In this embodiment, one of the wraparound portions 66 is scrolled upward and the other is scrolled downward.

Referring to FIG. 7, all of the wraparound portions 76 of the thin member 70 in accordance a fourth preferred embodiment of the present invention are scrolled upward, so the thin member 70 can also become a proper dust removal paper.

Although the present invention has been described with respect to specific preferred embodiments thereof, it is in no way limited to the specifics of the illustrated structures but changes and modifications may be made within the scope of the appended claims.

Claims

1. A dust removal paper for use with a mop, comprising:

a main body; and
two sleeve-joint portions formed at two ends of the main body, each of the sleeve-joint portions having a sleeve-joint channel and extending horizontally.

2. The dust removal paper as defined in claim 1, wherein the main body is rectangular and comprises two long sides and two short sides; the sleeve-joint portions are connected with the two short sides of the main body respectively; the sleeve-joint channels are axially parallel to the short sides of the main body.

3. The dust removal paper as defined in claim 1, wherein the sleeve-joint portions are formed by two coupling member fixed to the main body, the coupling member having two ends connected with a top side and a bottom side of the main body respectively.

4. The dust removal paper as defined in claim 1, wherein each of the sleeve-joint portions comprises two gaps formed at two ends thereof respectively.

The dust removal paper as defined in claim 1, wherein the dust removal paper is made of a thin member in one piece, the thin member comprising a wipe portion, two internal coupling portions, two wraparound portions, and two external coupling portions, each of the two internal coupling portions being connected with one of two ends of the wipe portion, each of the two wraparound portions being connected with one of the internal coupling portions, each of the two external coupling portions being connected with one of the wraparound portions, the internal and external coupling portions located at the same side of the thin member being fixedly superimposed on each other to enable the wraparound portions to be scrolled to become the sleeve-joint portions.

6. The dust removal paper as defined in claim 5, wherein one of the wraparound portions is scrolled upward and the other is scrolled downward.

7. The dust removal paper as defined in claim 5, wherein the wraparound portions are scrolled toward the same direction.
