Glow-in-the-dark backpack

The Glow-in-the-Dark Backpack is made out of a variety of materials and a glow in the dark substance that allows it to glow in the dark. The backpack has a small compartment for storing writing utensils, etc. and a large compartment for storing books, etc. The backpack has a white zipper for the small and large compartments. It also has a hanging loop to place on a hook for resting. It has two shoulder straps with material that extends from the straps. The material has a small hard plastic adjuster (adjust straps) in the middle to adjust the straps. The backpack comes in fluorescent colors. The backpack varies in size for children and adolescents.

Description

The Glow-in-the-Dark Backpack consists of a variety of materials and a glow in the dark substance (powder/pigment/plastic pellets) that allows it to glow in the dark. It has storage compartments (small and large) that allows the user to store books, supplies, etc. The compartments contain a zipper that allows it to close and secure the items stored. The small and large compartments of the backpack are sewn together.

The backpack contains two shoulder straps for carrying the backpack. Each of the shoulder straps are placed several inches apart and are sewn to the top left and top right of the back of the backpack. The straps have an extended piece of material at the end with a small hard plastic material (adjuster) located in the middle that is used to adjust the straps to fit the user's desired fit.

The backpack has a hanging loop. Each of the ends are placed in the front of each of the straps and sewn to the backpack.

The size of the backpack will vary (small and standard-sized).

Variations may include kid friendly designs.

BACKGROUND OF INVENTION

Almost everyone uses a backpack from children to adolescents to college students. The backpack is used mainly for storing educational items and supplies, but can be used for multiple purposes depending on the user. It can be an essential item for students. Backpacks are usually made out of plastic and nylon. They tend to be basic in appearance with a few exceptions (cross-strings, etc). The invention that I am claiming offers a stylish and unique version of the standard backpack.

SUMMARY OF INVENTION

The Glow-in-the-Dark Backpack has unique characteristics (glow in the dark feature) and adds style to the standard backpack in that it comes in fluorescent colors which makes it stand out. Children and adolescents can appreciate the unique look. The backpack also allows the user to be visible in dark areas or areas that are not well lighted.

The backpack consists of a small and large compartment, two shoulder straps and a hanging loop. The small and large compartments are sewn together. The small and large compartments are used for storing items (mainly educational items). The two shoulder straps are for carrying the backpack. The hanging loop is for resting the backpack on a hook. The backpack has unique characteristics and is colorful in appearance. It adds a level of style to your standard backpack.
