Description
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

1. Field of the Invention

The present invention relates to an exercising device and, more particularly, to a suspension exercising device.

2. Description of the Related Art

A conventional suspension exercising device in accordance with the prior art shown in FIG. 14 comprises an elongate strip 1 having a first end provided with a loop 100, a holding tube 2 mounted on the loop 100 of the elongate strip 1, and a hanging hook 101 mounted on a second end 102 of the elongate strip 1. The loop 100 of the elongate strip 1 is fixed on the elongate strip 1 by sewing lines 3. Thus, when the hanging hook 101 is hooked onto an elevated support member, a user's hand can hold the holding tube 2 to proceed a swinging action so as to achieve an exercising effect. However, the loop 100 of the elongate strip 1 is fixed by the sewing lines 3 so that the length of the elongate strip 1 is fixed and cannot be adjusted to fit users of different height, thereby causing inconvenience to the user.

Another conventional suspension exercising device in accordance with the prior art shown in FIG. 15 comprises two elongate strips 1a, a holding tube 2a, a hanging hook 101a, and a plurality of connecting snaps 4a. The elongate strips 1a and the hanging hook 101a are connected by the connecting snaps 4a. The holding tube 2a is mounted on a loop 100a of one of the elongate strips 1a. The loop 100a of each of the elongate strips 1a is fixed by sewing lines 3a. Thus, when the hanging hook 101a is hooked onto an elevated support member, a user's hand can hold the holding tube 2a to proceed a swinging action so as to achieve an exercising effect. However, such a conventional suspension exercising device has a complicated construction with many parts, thereby increasing the costs of fabrication and assembly.

Another conventional suspension exercising device in accordance with the prior art shown in FIG. 16 comprises a plurality of elongate strips 1b, two holding tubes 2b, a plurality of connecting snaps 4b, and a fixture 5b. The elongate strips 1b are connected by the connecting snaps 4b. Each of the holding tubes 2b is mounted on a loop 100b of one of the elongate strips 1b. The loop 100b of each of the elongate strips 1b is fixed by sewing lines 3b. One of the elongate strips 1b is attached to the fixture 5b. Thus, a user's hands can hold the holding tubes 2b to proceed a swinging action so as to achieve an exercising effect. However, such a conventional suspension exercising device has a complicated construction with many parts, thereby increasing the costs of fabrication and assembly. In addition, the suspension exercising device is fixed by the fixture 5b so that the user is limited at a determined place, thereby causing inconvenience to the user.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

Referring to the drawings and initially to FIGS. 1-4, a suspension exercising device in accordance with the preferred embodiment of the present invention comprises an elongate strip 10, at least two fixing members 30 adjustably mounted on the elongate strip 10, and a holding tube 20 mounted on the elongate strip 10.

The elongate strip 10 is extended through the fixing members 30 to and fro to form at least two loops 40. The elongate strip 10 is adjustable on the fixing members 30 and has an adjustable length. The elongate strip 10 has two opposite ends 12. Each of the two opposite ends 12 of the elongate strip 10 is extended through a respective one of the fixing members 30 to and fro, and two loops 40 are formed on the two opposite ends 12 of the elongate strip 10 respectively. The length of the elongate strip 10 is adjustable by each of the two opposite ends 12 of the elongate strip 10 and the respective fixing member 30. The elongate strip 10 is made of a non-elastic flat flexible strap.

The holding tube 20 is made of a hard or soft material. The holding tube 20 is mounted on one of the two loops 40.

Each of the fixing members 30 is a fixed snap or an adjustable snap. Alternatively, the fixing members 30 are snaps having different functions and types. Each of the fixing members 30 has a surface provided with two slots 60 and a crossbar 50 between the two slots 60.

In assembly, each of the two opposite ends 12 of the elongate strip 10 is in turn extended through a first one of the two slots 60, the crossbar 50 and a second one of the two slots 60 of the respective fixing member 30, is then formed with one of the two loops 40, and is then extended through the second one of the two slots 60, the crossbar 50 and the first one of the two slots 60 of the respective fixing member 30. Thus, each of the two opposite ends 12 of the elongate strip 10 is in turn extended through the respective fixing member 30 to and fro to form each of the two loops 40 and to adjust the length of the elongate strip 10.

Referring to FIGS. 5-7, one of the two loops 40 is mounted on the holding tube 20, and the other one of the two loops 40 is mounted on and supported by an elevated support member 70 which is mounted on the top of an object, such as a door and the like. The support member 70 is a transverse bar. Thus, the suspension exercising device is disposed at a suspension state so that a user's hand can hold the holding tube 20 to proceed different swinging actions as shown in FIGS. 6 and 7 so as to achieve an exercising effect. In addition, the suspension exercising device further comprises a counter 80 mounted on the elongate strip 10, the holding tube 20 or the fixing members 30 to calculate the number and time of the swinging actions.

Referring to FIGS. 8 and 9, the support member 70 is a transverse rod which is extended through the other one of the two loops 40. Thus, the suspension exercising device is disposed at a suspension state so that the user's leg can hold the holding tube 20 to proceed different swinging actions so as to achieve a different exercising effect.

Referring to FIG. 10, the suspension exercising device comprises three fixing members 30. The elongate strip 10 is extended through two of the three fixing members 30 to and fro to form the two loops 40. The holding tube 20 is mounted on one of the two loops 40 of the elongate strip 10, and the other one of the two loops 40 of the elongate strip 10 is mounted on and supported by the other one of the three fixing members 30. Preferably, the other one of the two loops 40 of the elongate strip 10 is mounted on the crossbar 50 of the other one of the three fixing members 30.

Referring to FIGS. 11-13, the holding tube 20 is mounted on the elongate strip 10 and is disposed between the fixing members 30, and the two loops 40 of the elongate strip 10 are mounted on and supported by an elevated support member 70. The support member 70 is extended through the two loops 40. In assembly, the elongate strip 10 is extended through the holding tube 20. Then, the elongate strip 10 is extended through the fixing members 30 to and fro to form the two loops 40. Finally, the support member 70 is extended through the two loops 40.

Accordingly, the elongate strip 10 is extended through the fixing members 30 to and fro so that the elongate strip 10 is adjustable on the fixing members 30 and has an adjustable length so as to facilitate the user operating the suspension exercising device so that the suspension exercising device is available for users of different height. In addition, the elongate strip 10 and the fixing members 30 can be detached from each other so as to facilitate the user replacing the elongate strip 10 and the fixing members 30 and to facilitate maintenance of the suspension exercising device.

Although the invention has been explained in relation to its preferred embodiment(s) as mentioned above, it is to be understood that many other possible modifications and variations can be made without departing from the scope of the present invention.
