DETAILED DESCRIPTION

The following detailed description, which references to and incorporates the drawings, describes and illustrates one or more specific embodiments. These embodiments, offered not to limit but only to exemplify and teach, are shown and described in sufficient detail to enable those skilled in the art to practice what is claimed. Thus, for the sake of brevity, the description may omit certain information known to those of skill in the art.

FIG. 1 is a palm-up view of an exemplary hand-shaped clutch 100 having a sealable void 101 (see FIG. 3) with a sealable opening 114 toward a wrist-end of the hand shape. The clutch 100 may include a palm area portion 102 that may be formed from fabric such as, but not limited to, knitted fabric, woven fabric, leather, polyester, and felt materials. The clutch may also include a thumb portion 104 and a plurality of finger portions 106 that may be formed from materials similar to those used to form the palm area portion 102, or may be formed from different materials. The thumb portion 104 and the finger portions 106 may be sealed from the void 101 through a sealing means such as, but not limited to, fusing tape 108, such as heat and bond heavy duty sealing tape, and/or other sealing means such as stitching 408 (see FIG. 4). The palm area portion 102 may be adorned with ornaments or patterns, such as the heart-shaped pattern 110 shown in FIG. 1.

FIG. 2 shows a dorsal view of the hand-shaped clutch 100 wherein the dorsal side of the clutch 100 includes a hand-back portion 202 that may be formed from materials similar to those used to form the palm area portion 102, or may be formed from different materials.

FIG. 3 shows a wrist opening view of the hand shaped clutch 100. Sealable opening 114 may be sealable through a variety of means, such as but not limited to a hook-and-loop tape or pad system, such as that illustrated in FIG. 3 by a hook tape 116a and a loop tape 116b. The hook tape 116a and a loop tape 116b may be attached to the palm area portion 102 and the hand-back portion 202 in a variety of manners, such as but not limited to stitching. The sealable void 101 may be formed between the palm area portion 102 and the hand-back portion 202, when the sealable void 101 is sealed from the finger portions 106, the thumb portion 104, and from the exterior at the opening 114. Sealable void 101 may be configured to accept an object (not shown), such as but not limited to, a drawing, a photograph, such as a photograph of a loved one, a note, such as a love note, and/or a charm (not shown).

FIG. 4 shows a palm-up view of a second exemplary hand-shaped clutch 400 having a sealable void 401 (see FIG. 6) with a sealable opening 114 toward a wrist-end of the hand shape. Clutch 400 shows the thumb portion 104 and the finger portions 106 sealed from the void 401 through a stitching 408 sealing means.

FIG. 5 shows a dorsal view of the hand-shaped clutch 400 wherein the dorsal side of the clutch 400 includes a hand-back portion 402 that may include a pocket 410 mounted on the exterior of the hand-back portion 402 configured to accept an object (not shown), such as but not limited to, a drawing, a photograph, such as a photograph of a loved one, or a note, such as a love note (not shown).

FIG. 6 shows a wrist opening view of the hand shaped clutch 400.

A method system for carrying mementoes may include the steps of: first, forming a sealable void, such as sealable void 101, from one or more hand-shaped materials, such as hand shaped materials that include the palm area portion 102 and the hand-back portion 202, the hand-shaped materials including a plurality of finger portions, such as finger portions 106, the sealable void 101 not including the finger portions 106 of the hand-shaped materials; second, placing one or more mementoes in the sealable void 101; and third, sealing the sealable void 101.

The word “exemplary” is used herein to mean “serving as an example, instance, or illustration.” Any embodiment or variant described herein as “exemplary” is not necessarily to be construed as preferred or advantageous over other embodiments or variants. All of the embodiments and variants described in this description are exemplary embodiments and variants provided to enable persons skilled in the art to make and use the invention, and not necessarily to limit the scope of legal protection afforded the appended claims.

The above description of the disclosed embodiments is provided to enable any person skilled in the art to make or use that which is defined by the appended claims. The following claims are not intended to be limited to the disclosed embodiments. Other embodiments and modifications will readily occur to those of ordinary skill in the art in view of these teachings. Therefore, the following claims are intended to cover all such embodiments and modifications when viewed in conjunction with the above specification and accompanying drawings.
