Description
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

(a) Field of the Invention

The present invention relates to a structure of traffic cone assembly, mainly provided for solving problems that the expenditure for preparing large-scale molds having multi-specifications for conventional integrally-formed traffic cones is overly high. The present invention discloses a design of separately manufacturing cone members and bases and then assembled together for forming traffic cones, so the cost for mold preparations is reduced, and cones and bases having different specifications are pre-made and stored, so the assembly can be rapidly finished according to the requirement of the order, therefore problems and disadvantages of additional cost for overtime working or delaying the delivery date because of the conventional fashion of manufacturing only after receiving orders can be solved, thus the present invention is provided with an excellent industrial application value.

(b) Description of the Prior Art

In the manufacturing of a conventional traffic cone, a cone member and a base are integrally formed through an injection molding means, the manufacturing is relatively easy, but the formation of the cone member is limited because the operation of injection molding has to be carried out with a primary material having better fluidity and not able to be manufactured with a secondary recycled or reused material, so the whole material cost is not able to be reduced, and for mating the different specifications of weight ratios and other modifications, molds with multiple specifications have to be fabricated, the expenditure of fabricating molds is therefore high, and the economical benefit of industrial application is greatly affected.

For solving the mentioned problems, the applicant of the present invention has developed a traffic cone in which a cone member and a base are formed through a multi-staged injection molding means, the base is firstly manufactured through a mold then is placed at a preset location where the mold for forming the cone member is installed, so when the cone member is formed through the injection molding means, the base can be integrally combined for achieving a partially combination effect, therefore the cone member and the base are assembled as one piece; because the base is separately manufactured and formed, the lower-cost secondary material or recycled waste material can be adopted for manufacturing, the material cost is therefore greatly reduced, and for the fabrication of molds, only a small amount of molds need to be made with respect to the different specifications of traffic cone; so with the installation of the base and a preset amount of pads, a traffic cone with required specification can be manufactured, so the expenditure for fabricating molds can be greatly reduced, and a better industrial economical benefit is provided.

However, in the mentioned traffic cone made though the multi-staged injection molding means, the material cost and expenditure for molds are greatly reduced, but the manufacturing is still processed only after receiving the order which requires certain specifications, so massive production in advance for obtaining traffic cones having different specifications for storage is not able to be carried out. When the ordered amount is not a lot, the manufacturing may be able to meet the required quantity and the delivery date, but if the ordered quantity is a lot and the delivery date is urgent, the manufacturing may not catch up and overtime working is needed, so the whole production cost is increased, or even the delivery date would be delayed and the goodwill is affected. Such disadvantage shall be improved.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

In view of the disadvantages of conventional traffic cone assembly, the applicant of the present invention has been researching and developing for improvements, with his experience and skills in the arts, the structure of traffic cone assembly of the present invention is provided, the main object is to separately manufacture the base and the cone member, so not only the material cost and the expenditure of mold fabrication are greatly reduced, the assembly and formation can also be rapidly complete.

Another object of the present invention is to provide a design of separately manufacturing the cone member and the base then assembling afterward, so cones and bases with different specifications can be pre-manufactured and stored, and the traffic cone with required specifications according to the order can be rapidly assembled for being readily to dispatch, so additional cost of overtime working and problems of delaying the delivery date are avoided.

For achieving the mentioned objects, the present invention provides a structure of traffic cone assembly in which a cone member and a base of the traffic cone are separately manufactured then assembled afterward, the bottom of the cone member is formed with a connection ring part on which a mounting ring slot is formed, the center of the base is formed with a connection hole allowing the cone member to be sleeved and combined, and a convex mounting slot is formed in the inner circumference of the connection hole so as to be mounted with the mounting ring slot formed on the connection ring part of the cone member for achieving a mounting positioning effect, so the sleeve connection relationship between the two components is established and kept. With the design of separately manufacturing then assembling, the cones and bases having multiple specifications can be combined with each other for providing a diversifying function, and the required specifications according to the order can be rapidly assembled and satisfied with the preset and stored cones and bases, so the industrial application value is provided.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENT

Many modifications and other embodiments of the inventions set forth herein will come to mind to one skilled in the art to which these inventions pertain having the benefit of the teachings presented in the foregoing descriptions and the associated drawings. Therefore, it is to be understood that the inventions are not to be limited to the specific examples of the embodiments disclosed and that modifications and other embodiments are intended to be included within the scope of the appended claims. Although specific terms are employed herein, they are used in a generic and descriptive sense only and not for purposes of limitation.

Referring to figures, wherein FIG. 1 is a schematic view showing the structure according to the present invention; FIG. 2 is a schematic exploded view showing the structure according to the present invention; FIG. 3 is a schematic view showing the structure relation according to the present invention; FIG. 4 to FIG. 6 are schematic views showing the embodiments according to the present invention. As shown in figures, the structural design of the traffic cone according to the present invention is that: a traffic cone is formed through separately manufacturing a cone member (10) and a base (20) then assembled together.

The cone member (10) is made of a reflective material having better fluidity, and is formed in a cone shape with narrower top and % wider bottom, a through hole (11) is formed on the top so an warning lamp (not shown) can be installed therein when needed. The bottom of the cone member (10) is formed with a diameter-expanded connection ring part (12), and a mounting ring slot (13) is formed at the outer circumference of the connection ring part (12), and an inclined guiding surface (14) is defined above the mounting ring slot (13) on the outer circumference of the connection ring part (12), so as to be connected with the base (20) through the mounting ring slot (13) of the connection ring part (12).

The base (20) is made of a material having poorer fluidity or made of a recycled waste material, or made of a material having better fluidity if production cost is not concerned, the shape thereof is substantially is a rectangular plate, a connection hole (21) having a preset diameter is formed at the center, the inner diameter of the connection hole (21) is mated with the outer diameter of the connection ring part (12) at the bottom of the cone member (10), and a convex mounting ring (22) is formed at the inner circumference of the connection hole (21), the convex mounting ring (22) can be mounted and fixed in the mounting ring slot (13) of the connection ring part (12), and a concave slot (23) having a preset depth is formed at the bottom of the base (20), and a preset amount of protrusions (24) are installed at the preset locations; the protrusions (24) can be served to provide a better stability when the traffic cone is used and also served to properly partition the plural stacked traffic cones, and the depth of the mentioned concave slot (23) is variable with respect to the different specifications and weight ratio design of the base (20), i.e. the larger the weight ratio design of the base (20), the shallower of the depth of the concave slot (23), and the material thickness of the base (20) is relatively thicker, thus traffic cones with different specifications can be assembled.

According to the design of separately manufacturing the cone member (10) and the base (20), and with the installations of the mounting ring slot (13) of the connection ring part (12) of the cone member (10) and the convex mounting slot (22) of the connection hole (21) of the base (20), when the assembly of traffic cone is processed, the base (20) is sleeved from the top of the cone member (10) and downwardly moved to the connection ring part (12) at the bottom of the cone member (10), and with the inclined guiding surface (14), the convex mounting ring (22) at the inner circumference of the connection hole (21) of the base (20) can be guided so as to be mounted in the mounting ring slot (13) of the connection ring part (12) so the mounting and positioning between the two components are stabilized and fixed, and the traffic cone assembly can be rapidly finished; and various specifications of the cone members (10) and the bases (20) can be mated and assembled for achieving an effect of assembly variety. As such, a manufacturer can respectively produce cone members (10) and bases (20) having multiple specifications and store in a warehouse, when a custom-made order is received, the traffic cone (10) and the base (20) having the proper specifications according to the order are assembled, so the production of the traffic cone with the required specification can be obtained within a short time; compared to the conventional production procedure in which the manufacturing is only processed after receiving an order, the present invention provides economical advantages of shortening the production time and lowering the production cost.

Moreover, for meeting the different weight ratio designs of the base (20), several molds have to be prepared, but the cone member (10) can be served to mate with the base (20) for providing multiple types assemblies in which different specifications are required, so the actual amount of the required molds according to the present invention is greatly less than the amount of molds for conventional integrally-formed traffic cones in which each specification needs a certain mold, and the molds according to the present invention have relatively smaller sizes, so the whole expenditure for mold preparations according to the present invention can be effectively reduced; as a whole, the present invention provides a better industrial application and economical benefit.

Referring to FIG. 7 and FIG. 8, which are schematic views showing the structure relationship according to another embodiment of the present invention. As shown in figures, in the assembly of the cone member (10) and the base (20) of traffic cone, beside the design of the convex mounting slot (22) at the inner circumference of the connection hole (21) at the center of the base (20) being mated with the mounting ring slot (13) at the outer circumference of the connection ring part (12) at the bottom of the cone member (10) and the inclined guiding surface (14) at the top of the connection ring part (12) for enabling the cone member (10) and the base (20) to be rapidly sleeved and assembled, the inclined guiding surface (14) at the top of the connection ring part (12) of the cone member (10) is further designed for having a smaller inclination, so a ring abutting surface (15) is formed between the inclined guiding surface (14) and the mounting ring slot (13), such that the cone member (10) utilizes the inclined guiding surface (14) for guiding to enable the connection ring part (12) to pass through the convex mounting ring (22) of the base (20) such that not only the convex mounting ring (22) and the mounting ring slot (13) are mounted, the ring abutting surface (15) can also be abutted against the inner wall of the connection hole (21) of the base (20) for obtaining a firmer positioning effect, and the mounting connection relation between the cone member (10) and the base (20) is more stabilized and the concerns of loosening or separating are avoided, therefore the another embodiment of the present invention is assembled.

As abovementioned, the present invention provides a novel design of the structure of traffic cone assembly in which the cone member and the base are separately manufactured then are assembled together to form a traffic cone, so not only the material cost and the expenditure for preparing molds are saved, but the traffic cones with required specifications according to the order can be rapidly assembled with the pre-stored cone members and bases, thus problems and disadvantages of conventional traffic cones are solved, and the present invention is provided with better industrial applications and economical benefits.

Although the present invention has been described with reference to the preferred embodiments thereof, it is apparent to those skilled in the art that a variety of modifications and changes may be made without departing from the scope of the present invention which is intended to be defined by the appended claims.
