Sole Cushion
Shoe sole cushioning device for providing foot comfort to persons who are obliged to stand or walk on hard surfaces or wear uncomfortable shoes such as high heels or hard soled, rigid, inflexible, shoes for long periods, the device consisting of a moderately thick foam/gel/cellulose/plastic/rubber or like-material sole placed beneath the shoe and secured there to by means of adhesive that is readily and easily removed for purpose of conveniently replacing a worn shoe sole cushion.
This invention relates generally to footwear.
It is generally well known that many persons who are obliged to stand or walk for long hours on hard pavements or floors complain of tired feet. This situation is of course objectionable and therefore in want of improvement.
It is the principal object of the present invention to provide a shoe cushioning sole that comprises a novel device for footwear that eliminates the above described objection for people with tired feet due to standing or walking on hard surfaces.
The object of the present invention is to provide a shoe cushioning sole which is moderately thick foam/gel/cellulose/plastic/rubber or like-material outer sole so to thoroughly cushion the person's shoes from the hard surface standing upon.
Another object of the present invention is to provide a shoe cushioning sole wherein the foam/gel/cellulose/plastic/rubber or like-material outer sole can be readily and easily replaced after becoming worn out.
Other objects of the present invention are to provide a shoe cushioning sole which is simple in design, inexpensive to manufacture, rugged in construction, easy to use and efficient in operation.
These and other objects will be readily evident upon a study of the following specification and the accompanying drawing wherein:
Referring now to the drawing in detail, the reference numeral 10 represents a Sole Cushion according to the present invention wherein there is an adhesive 11 that is detachably attached upon the bottom of a person's shoe 12.
The Sole Cushion 10 is of a generally shoe-shaped outer sole configuration. The Sole Cushion 10 comprises a moderately thick one piece member made of foam/gel/cellulose/plastic/rubber or like-material or the equivalent.
Upon the upper side 13 of the Sole Cushion 10 there is placed an adhesive 11 so as to adhesively secure the Sole Cushion 10 to the bottom of a person's shoe 12.
If it is desired to place the Sole Cushion 10 only on the forefoot 14 or heel 15 section of a person's shoe, a person herself may readily cut along the lines 4-4 and 5-5 and simply place the Sole Cushion to the forefoot or heel section of the bottom of the shoe.
The Sole Cushion due to its thick foam/gel/cellulose/plastic/rubber or like-material provides comfort for persons who stand or walk all day long on hard surfaces or wear uncomfortable shoes.
Claims
1. The Sole Cushion is a separate outer sole component being readily attached or detached from the bottom of a person's shoe to permit replacement of said outer sole after becoming worn out, said outer sole being configured to the bottom of a person's shoe, comprising a moderately thick foam/gel/cellulose/plastic/rubber or like-material.
2. The Sole Cushion as set forth in claim 1, wherein a replaceable adhesive is placed between said outer sole and the bottom of a person's shoe for adhesively securing said outer sole and a person's shoe together.
