Description
FILED OF THE INVENTION

The present invention relates to a vacuum packing bag. In particular, it relates to a vacuum packing bag with an opening that can be opened and closed in a quick, convenient and less elaborated manner.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

Vacuum bags are commonly used to store daily necessities, such as clothes, to achieve damp-proof, dustproof, insect control, space-saving purposes, etc., which makes our life easier.

The existing vacuum bags are usually made of soft materials, such as PVC film or nylon composite film, and a sealing means and a vacuum valve provided on the bag body. With the ever-increasing demand for more convenience in daily life, the existing vacuum bags can no long meet such demand because their operation is not very convenient. For example, when bulky articles are placed in traditional vacuum bags, the bags are likely to be puffed up due to the bulkiness of the articles, making it cumbersome to seal the opening, and it may take two persons for the operation, one for holding and narrowing the opening and the other for effecting the sealing.

The present invention makes improvement with respect to the above mentioned deficiency.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

It is an object of the present invention to overcome the deficiency of the prior art and provide a vacuum packing bag with a proper structure, convenient operation and an opening which can be sealed in a labor-saving and convenient manner.

The technical features to solve the existing problem are reflected in the following described packing bags of the present invention:

A vacuum packing bag, comprising a bag body, a re-openable sealing and a vacuum valve provided on the bag body, characterized in that the bag body is formed by at least one front bag piece and one back bag piece, and a fork-like opening is formed at the top of the front bag piece and the back bag piece where they are not joined; a cover piece covering the fork-like opening and provided with connection edges and at least one re-openable edge; the connection edges of the cover piece are joined with corresponding edges of the front bag piece and the back bag piece at the fork-like opening; and the re-openable edge is in connection with the upper edge of the front bag piece at the fork-like opening to form an opening of the packing bag and constitute the re-openable seal of the bag body.

A vacuum packing bag as described above, characterized in that the re-openable seal of the bag body is a ziplock device arranged on the opening of the packing bag.

The bag body of the present invention may be formed by heat sealing of the edges in the lower portions of the front bag piece and the back bag piece such that the front bag piece and the back bag piece form a bag body, a vacuum valve is provided on the bag body, and a fork-like opening is formed at the upper portion of the front bag piece and the back bag piece where they are not joined by heat sealing.

A vacuum packing bag as described above, characterized in that the fork-like opening is Y-shaped.

A vacuum packing bag as described above, characterized in that the ziplock device is composed of a groove provided on the cover piece and a ridge provided on the edge of the front bag piece which may be inserted into the groove, and the ridge is engaged in the groove to accomplish sealing of the opening. The positions of the groove and the ridge are exchangeable, i.e. the ridge may be provided on the cover piece and the groove, on the front bag piece, and the function of the movable seal is the same as under the aforesaid circumstance.

A vacuum packing bag as described above, characterized in that the bag body is placed in a box.

A vacuum packing bag as described above, characterized in that a connection piece is provided between the lower edges of the front bag piece and the back bag piece.

A vacuum packing bag as described above, characterized in that the material of the bag body is plastic.

The present invention has the following advantages over the prior art: because a cover piece is provided at the top of the bag body, an opening is formed between the cover piece and the upper edge of the front bag piece and the opening is away from the middle. Thus, the bag body will not be subject to such a puffing up tension after a quilt is placed into it, which would make the opening difficult to close, and the sealing of the opening is thus made easier and more labor-saving. Furthermore, the opening of the bag body can be configured according to the size of the quilt. The vacuum bag may also be used in combination with a box, such as a non-woven fabric box so as to protect the vacuum bag and prolong its service life.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF PARTICULAR EMBODIMENTS OF THE INVENTION

The present invention is further described with reference to the figures and the detailed embodiments:

As shown in FIGS. 1 through 5, a vacuum packing bag comprises a bag body 3, a re-openable seal means, and a vacuum valve 4 provided on the bag body, wherein the bag body 3 comprises a front bag piece 1 and a back bag piece 2. The front bag piece 1 and the back bag piece 2 are heat sealed at lower edges thereof such that the front bag piece 1 and the back bag piece 2 form a bag body 3, and a vacuum valve 4 is provided on the bag body 3. In other words, the front bag piece 1 and the back bag piece 2 are heat sealed at the bottom edges and the lower portion of the side edges to form a bag body 3, which has a pointed bottom as shown in FIGS. 1, 2 and 3. Generally, the material of the bag body 3 is plastic. Of course, an extra connection piece 10 may be added as necessary between the bottom edges of the front bag piece 1 and the back bag piece 2 so that the bottom of the bag body 3 becomes flat, as shown in FIGS. 4, 5 and 6.

At the top, the front bag piece 1 and the back bag piece 2 are not joined by heat seal, leaving a fork-like (or Y-shaped) opening 8, as shown in FIGS. 1 and 7. A cover piece 5 is provided, which covers the fork-like opening 8. The cover piece 5 comprises a number of connection edges 52 and a re-openable edge 51. The connection edges 52 of the cover piece 5 are heat sealed with corresponding edges of the front bag piece 1 and the back bag piece 2 at the fork-like opening 8.

The re-openable edge 51 of the cover piece 5 and the upper edge of the front bag piece 1 at the fork-like opening 8 form an opening 6 of the packing bag, and a ziplock device 7 is provided on the opening 6 of the packing bag for opening and closing opening 6 of the packing bag. The ziplock device 7 is composed of a groove 72 provided on the cover piece 5 and a ridge 71 provided on the upper edge of the front bag piece 1 which can be inserted into the groove 72, and the ridge 71 is engaged in the groove 72 to accomplish sealing. Specifically, the groove 72 is provided on the movable edge 51 of the cover piece 5, and the ridge 71 is provided on the upper edge of the front bag piece 1, as shown in FIGS. 3 and 6.

As shown in FIG. 9, the vacuum bag as described above may also be used in combination with a hard box 9.

Since a cover piece 5 is joined at the top of the opening end of the bag body 3, the bag body 3 will not subject to a large expansion tension after the quilt is placed inside the bag. Thus, the opening 6 will not become difficult to close after a bulky quilt is placed inside, and it is now much easier and more convenient to seal the opening 6. Furthermore, the opening of the bag body can be configured according to the size of the quilt. The vacuum bag can also be used in combination with a box 9, such as a non-woven fabric box so as to protect the vacuum bag to prolong its service life.

The above embodiments are disclosed for a better understanding of the present invention and are not intended as limitations to the present invention. Those with ordinary skill in the art can make variations or modifications on the basis of the technical solution of the described above. For instance, the bag body of the present invention may also comprise a front bag piece, a back bag piece and strip-like side bag pieces, or a front bag piece, a back bag piece, a strip-like bottom bag piece and strip-like side bag pieces, furthermore, it may also be formed by sealing an end of a seamless tube. The connection of the edges of the bag pieces is not limited to heat sealing process, and other forms of connecting process, such as bonding or a physical method may also be used.
