BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

1. Field of the Invention

The present invention relates generally to a window curtain, and more particularly to an innovative one which allows the cordless window curtain to be set on lateral rails.

2. Description of Related Art

Including Information Disclosed Under 37 CFR 1.97 and 37 CFR 1.98.

The difference between the cordless window curtain of the present invention and common rope-pulling window curtain lies in that the curtain body is elevated manually by the force applied by the user. The curtain body is stopped once the force applied by the user is released. Such a cordless window curtain is designed in such a manner that the pull rope for pulling and controlling the curtain body is concealed to prevent any safety hazard against kids arising from accidental entanglement during play.

Moreover, according to the design of the driving mechanism for the curtain body of said cordless window curtain, the rope-pulling device cannot be fully eliminated, and a rail is generally arranged to provide a holding space for the pull rope exposed at both sides of the curtain body. Yet, the following shortcomings still remain with respect to said cordless window curtain with lateral rails:

The cross section of the lateral rail of the conventional cordless window curtain is designed into a -shaped pattern, such that an opening is set at one side facing the curtain body. This opening is almost as wide as the lateral rail, generally from 2.5 cm to 3.5 cm. However, small fingers of kids could extend easily into the lateral rail from the opening, and are then hooked by the pull rope exposed at both sides of the curtain body, leading to possible safety hazards.

On the other hand, owing to a bigger opening set on the lateral rail, the curtain body of the conventional cordless window curtain could not be stably limited or driven, resulting in unstable shift and bigger noise of the curtain body.

Thus, to overcome the aforementioned problems of the prior art, it would be an advancement if the art to provide an improved structure that can significantly improve the efficacy.

Therefore, the inventor has provided the present invention of practicability after deliberate design and evaluation based on years of experience in the production, development and design of related products.

BRIEF SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

The enhanced efficacy of the present invention is as follows:

Based on the unique configuration of the present invention wherein “the improved structure of cordless window curtain” allows said reducing guide slots to be set at one side of the lateral rail facing the curtain body, and the flanged guide shafts protruded from both ends of the hollow bottom rod at bottom of the curtain body can be inserted into said reducing guide slot, the present invention could, through narrowing design of the reducing guide slot, protect efficiently kids against unexpected insertion of fingers into the locating rope assembly. On the other hand, owing to the technical feature that the flanged guide shafts are inserted into said reducing guide slot, the curtain body could be elevated more smoothly and stably, and also positioned securely in the hanging state, thus improving the quality and applicability of the cordless window curtain.

The improvements brought about by this invention are as follow:

Given the structural configuration wherein the assembly element is designed into a rotary fastener, the cordless window curtain can be easily assembled or disassembled in a timely and efficient manner.

Although the invention has been explained in relation to its preferred embodiment, it is to be understood that many other possible modifications and variations can be made without departing from the spirit and scope of the invention as hereinafter claimed.
