Ghost

This application claims benefit of priority to Provisional Application #61517601 dated Apr. 22, 2011. Designed for a physically challenged person to carry concealed different sizes of licensed handguns comfortably, totally independent of other articles of clothing, with ease of accessibility and a nonrestrictive range of motion. The revolutionary horizontal holster belt renders a “weightless” effect when a weapon is positioned correctly in either of the two receptacles on the holster belt, snugged to the body of the wearer and then closed to complete the circle. Thus the name, The Ghost. Using the properties of physics, The Ghost distributes evenly the weight of the contents instead of only in one vertical place. Positioned on the body in this circumstance allows wearer to effectively conceal the contents of said receptacles.

Description
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

Designed exclusively for my husband after he was disabled, this invention relates to an apparatus for carrying concealed a licensed handgun comfortably. When the general public began to see it on him, they requested one and we then started the process of the Provisional patent and now the Non-Provisional patent. The GHOST holster belt allows the licensed wearer the ability to carry many different sizes and calibers of handguns by wearing The GHOST around said person, in multiple positions to suit each said person. The GHOST offers a flexible, comfortable design, independent of the wearer's clothing that renders the accessibility of the handgun in different positions of movement. Utilizing simple physics along with the correct placement of the components of The GHOST holster belt gives the effect of the handgun appearing “weightless” and therefore unlike any other type of concealed carry or regular carry.

Use of concealed carry holsters of various kinds are available and are usually of rigid materials on a rigid belt and being totally dependent on particular articles of clothing, restricting the comfort, the attire, the movement, and the accessibility of said licensed handgun. These other options may not offer any of the concealment qualities, flexibility, ease of movement, accessibility from multiple positions, and most differentially, the “weightless” attributes of The GHOST holster belt when worn correctly.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

This invention as a method of concealed carry is revolutionary in design and concept, offering many different options to properly licensed individuals to carry concealed. Through the two individual flexible receptacles attached to the belt portions of this invention and the adjustment section, persons may have a most comfortable way to carry concealed.

This present invention is designed to facilitate physically challenged and non physically challenged individuals who, after qualifying through instruction and being duly licensed by the Governments of their States and Federal Governments of the United States of America, have an option not available to them before to comfortably carry concealed. the handguns of their choice. Clarification of the invention will be better understood with reference to the following drawings, description, and claims.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS

FIG. 1 illustrates a perspective front view of the Ghost holster belt according to an embodiment of the invention;

FIG. 2 illustrates perspective front view of the Ghost holster belt according to an embodiment of the invention with shading to assimilate the material.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION

The following detailed description represents the best currently contemplated mode for the construction of the invention. The description is not to be taken in a limiting sense, but is made solely for the purpose of illustrating the general principles of the invention.

Referring to FIGS. 1 and 2; the Ghost holster belt 1 is the rigid female end of a reusable securing mechanism for mating with 11. which is the male end of a reusable securing mechanism, ranging in size of 1⅜ to 1¾ inches wide and 1⅝ to 2 inches long when engaged.

2 and 4 depict the expanding and retracting strips proportionately sized to connect the rigid male and female (1 and 11) to the non-rigid multi directional expanding contracting material receptacles, 7 being the larger of the two receptacles, and 8 being the smaller.

The receptacle 7 may expand to the size of the item incased within the receptacle and secured close with 14 a continuous coil tract type closing apparatus utilizing 5 as the closing and opening tool.

The receptacle 8 may also expand to the size of the item incased within the smaller of the two receptacles, again using 13 continuous coil tract type closing apparatus utilizing 6 as the closing mechanism.

Articles 9 and 10 are used in conjunction with the woven expanding and retracting strip 3 sized purposely to provide an adjustment of the whole circle of completed parts for the comfort of the wearer and to manage the weight created by the weapon of choice placed within said receptacles (7 and 8) created for that purpose.

Particularly important is 12 to facilitate 3, 9, and 10 allowing the adjustment to be made. The material used for 2,3, and 4 offers the best advantage for said adjustment and maneuverability to form a most comfortable holster belt.

The whole of FIG. 1 or FIG. 2 as described in detail comprising of all components is connected and worn around the whole body at several levels, across the body, or attached in like manner to a part of the body as is deemed best by the individual wearer.

Comfort, flexibility, conceal ability is addressed with described components attached in the order presented by drawing. Although revolutionary in concept, the utility and practicality of this invention as a concealed method of carry for handguns, medical equipment or necessities, travel companion for passport or valuables, and integrated into most all daily activities has proven to suffice most applications and to exceed most expectations.

Developed for the physically challenged but incorporated into the general public as well as useful for Law Enforcement Officers, this invention offers an option that until now was not realized for the above applications and more.

While the invention has been particularly shown and described with respect to the illustrated embodiments thereof, it will be understood by those skilled in the art that the forgoing and other changes in form and details maybe made therein without departing from the spirit and scope of the invention.
