CASINO GAMBLING GAME
A casino game is played based on a roll of a pair of six-sided dice. In the game, a player may bet on whether the sum of the dice rolled will be greater than seven, less than seven, or exactly seven. The player will win or lose based on the sum of the dice rolled. The game may be played on a semi-circular game table, similar to blackjack, with the players positioned about the arc of the semi-circle and the dealer disposed at the diameter of the semi-circle. The game table may permit from about 4 to about 10 players, typically from about 6 to about 7 players, to bet on each dice roll.
The present invention relates to casino games and, more particularly, to a casino dice game having three possible wagers.
Current dice games, such as craps, may be intimidating for players who have not played the game before. Moreover, the large number of bets possible in craps makes the game difficult to understand the proper betting. Moreover, typical craps games are played by experienced players who may not have patience for novice players who may not fully understand the rules or appreciate game etiquette.
As can be seen, there is a need for a casino dice game that may be fast paced, easy to understand and entice new players to casino dice games.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTIONIn one aspect of the present invention, a gaming kit comprises a gaming surface; and a plurality of bet placement indicia provided on the gaming surface for each player, wherein the plurality of bet place indicia includes an “over 7” bet placement indicia, a “7” bet placement indicia, and an “under 7” bet placement indicia for each player.
In another aspect of the present invention, a game table comprises a gaming surface on a top face of the game table; a plurality of bet placement indicia for each of a plurality of players, each of the plurality of bet placement indicia includes an “over 7” bet placement indicia, a “7” bet placement indicia, and an “under 7” bet placement indicia for each player.
In a further aspect of the present invention, a method for wagering in a dice game comprises accepting a wager on a gaming surface from one or more players; rolling a pair of six-sided dice to determine a sum thereof; increasing the wager by a predetermined amount for each winning player and permitting the winning player to take the increased wager; and removing the wager for each losing player, wherein the wager is selected from the group consisting of the sum being less than seven, the sum being seven, and the sum being more than seven.
These and other features, aspects and advantages of the present invention will become better understood with reference to the following drawings, description and claims.
The following detailed description is of the best currently contemplated modes of carrying out exemplary embodiments of the invention. The description is not to be taken in a limiting sense, but is made merely for the purpose of illustrating the general principles of the invention, since the scope of the invention is best defined by the appended claims.
Various inventive features are described below that can each be used independently of one another or in combination with other features.
Broadly, an embodiment of the present invention provides a casino game played based on a roll of a pair of six-sided dice.

If a player loses, the dealer may take the player's bet (chip 18) that was placed on the player's bet placement indicia 14. If a player wins, the dealer may pay the player according to a pay table. For example, if a player bets “7” and the sum of the dice is seven, then the player may receive four times their bet. The table below summarizes payouts for winning bets.
Other payouts may be provided, depending on the desires of the casino. For example, for a higher casino profit, the 2 to 1 payout for doubles (4, 6, 8 or 10) may be changed to 1 to 1. In some embodiments, a bonus bet indicia (not shown) may be provided to permit each player to place a bet for a roll of doubles. At least one of, or all of, the payouts may be printed on the gaming table surface.
While the game may be kept simple, with three possible bets for each player, a casino or other game dealer may add rules to the basic game as they may find appropriate. For example, a “press your bet” odds may be provided to permit players who win a first roll to get slightly better payouts when they bet their original bet plus winnings. Other types of side bets and related rules may be provided within the scope of the present invention.
During play, the players themselves may take turns at rolling the dice. In some embodiments, a separate dice rolling surface (not shown) may be provided.
In some embodiments, the game may be played as a computer game, where computer readable media may contain program code adapted to accept a user's bet on one of the three bet placement indicia as described above, program code adapted to randomly generate a dice roll, and program code to determine winners and losers based on the players bet and the dice roll. In some embodiments, especially where casino regulations do not permit the use of dice, other means of random number generation may be used.
It should be understood, of course, that the foregoing relates to exemplary embodiments of the invention and that modifications may be made without departing from the spirit and scope of the invention as set forth in the following claims.
