The present invention will be described by way of exemplary embodiments, but not limitations, illustrated in the accompanying drawings in which like references denote similar elements, and in which:

FIG. 1 illustrates a side perspective view of a toothbrush and toothpaste tube holder, in accordance with one embodiment of the present invention.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF ILLUSTRATIVE EMBODIMENTS

Various aspects of the illustrative embodiments will be described using terms commonly employed by those skilled in the art to convey the substance of their work to others skilled in the art. However, it will be apparent to those skilled in the art that the present invention may be practiced with only some of the described aspects. For purposes of explanation, specific numbers, materials and configurations are set forth in order to provide a thorough understanding of the illustrative embodiments. However, it will be apparent to one skilled in the art that the present invention may be practiced without the specific details. In other instances, well-known features are omitted or simplified in order not to obscure the illustrative embodiments.

Various operations will be described as multiple discrete operations, in turn, in a manner that is most helpful in understanding the present invention. However, the order of description should not be construed as to imply that these operations are necessarily order dependent. In particular, these operations need not be performed in the order of presentation.

The phrase “in one embodiment” is utilized repeatedly. The phrase generally does not refer to the same embodiment, however, it may. The terms “comprising”, “having” and “including” are synonymous, unless the context dictates otherwise.

FIG. 1 illustrates a side perspective view of a toothbrush 100 and toothpaste tube holder, in accordance with one embodiment of the present invention.

The toothbrush 100 includes a toothbrush head 110, a plurality of bristles 120, a base cap 130 and a toothpaste tube 140.

The toothbrush head 110 is an elongated hollow tube 112 with a closed end 114 and a distal end 116 that has a plurality of apertures 118 disposed on the distal end 116 of the elongated tubular head 110. Toothpaste is received into and pushed through the elongated tubular head 110 and to the apertures 118. The bristles 120 are disposed on the distal end 116 of the elongated tubular head 110 above the apertures 118. The bristles 120 receive toothpaste that is received in the elongated tubular head 110 and pushed through the apertures 118. The base cap 130 is screwed directly onto a toothpaste tube dispersing nozzle 132 and provides a secure seal between the toothbrush head 110 and the toothpaste tube dispersing nozzle 132. The base cap 130 is provided with a plurality of exterior perimeter ridges 134 that facilitate providing a secure seal between the toothbrush head and the toothpaste tube dispersing nozzle. The toothpaste tube 140 contains toothpaste that is pushed into and through the elongated hollow tube 112 and the apertures 118 by typically squeezing the toothpaste tube 140 typically manually, by turning a toothpaste key or other suitable squeezing method. The toothpaste tube 140 can be any suitable brand or type of toothpaste tube containing any suitable brand or type of toothpaste. The toothbrush 100 is approximately 3 to 3½ inches long, although the toothbrush 100 can be other suitable lengths as well. The toothbrush 100 is also made of relatively durable waterproof materials.

The toothbrush is comprised of a hollow toothbrush head with a built-in cap located at its base. The toothbrush is a superior alternative to current toothbrushes on the market. Straightforward to connect, the cap is simply screwed directly onto the toothpaste tube dispersing nozzle providing a secure seal between the toothbrush head and the toothpaste tube. When ready to use, squeeze the desired amount of toothpaste from the toothpaste tube, causing it to travel through the toothbrush and finally exiting from the bristles. The toothbrush is able to prevent large messes while promoting healthy brushing habits for children and adults alike and the toothbrush will be readily available for sale at retail department stores. The toothbrush features a toothbrush head afforded a universal cap base, allowing effortless fastening of any size toothpaste tube. The toothbrush is designed to be fun for children and promote healthy brushing habits, while eliminating undesired messes.

While the present invention has been related in terms of the foregoing embodiments, those skilled in the art will recognize that the invention is not limited to the embodiments described. The present invention can be practiced with modification and alteration within the spirit and scope of the appended claims. Thus, the description is to be regarded as illustrative instead of restrictive on the present invention.
