To-Gather

-

In this artwork of “TO-Gather” you will find three carrier vest connected to a host vest with tracking devices imbedded in each vest. You will also find helmets. The drawing also illustrates how a host and two small children would be connected during a natural disaster.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

I, Tonita S. Osei-Rosa, came upon the idea for “TO-Gather” after recent reports of people being lost after natural disasters, such as Tornadoes. I wanted to create a device that kept families together and made them easier to locate after natural disasters. I am applying for a Utility, non-provisional patent to further create and test this invention while protecting my rights as the sole inventor.

After hurricanes, earth quakes, and tornadoes people are often displaced and it takes days, weeks, and or more to find them (bodies). I came up with the idea to connect people together and implant tracking devices so that time and lives could be saved during the after math of a natural disaster when trying to locate “lost” ones.

I came up with drawings and specifications for this invention which I am submitting in my application.

BRIEF SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

“TO-Gather” (Tonita Osei-Gather) is a body vest connected to several smaller body vest to keep a family size of four or less together during a natural disaster. Should the vest become detached during the disaster there are small tracking devices located in each vest (similar to GPS) that will automatically activate once the vest are turned on. The search and rescue team will have access to a mother board (similar to OnStar) that will be able to track each vest locating the person and possibly saving a life in a shorter time span. Should the person or persons be deceased the vest still is activated and the search and rescue team can locate the body for proper burial/disposal. This will cut down on man power used during this time and allow families closure once finding the bodies (alive or deceased). The vest can only be deactivated once located. “TO-Gather” also comes with helmets.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF SEVERAL VIEWS OF THE DRAWING

FIG. 1A is the front carrier of the vest. It (FIG. 1A) shows the side view of the front carrier, padding and tracking device. FIG. 1B is the double cross straps on the host (heaviest person) wearing the main vest with attachments. It (FIG. 1B) shows the straps, closures, and host tracking device. FIG. 1C is the strap (detailed view). It (FIG. 1C) shows the closure and strap. FIG. 1D is a side carrier (right). It (FIG. 1D) is intended for a bigger child or smaller adult and shows the straps crossing over and tracking device. FIG. 1E is a side carrier (left). It (FIG. 1E) is intended for a bigger child or smaller adult and shows straps crossing over and tracking device. FIG. 1F is a full body model of “TO-Gather” showing a (right) side view of the host, two children and helmets for everyone in model.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

“TO-Gather” is a natural disaster vest (host) connected to multiple smaller vest with tracking devices located in each vest. “TO-Gather” is created similar to body carriers (also known as baby carriers-not related to any specific brand) with multiple size carriers connected to a host vest. The tracking devices are similar to those used in GPS systems (not specifically related to any brand). There are also helmets included (no specific brand). The vest all have strong, padded, reinforced straps and carriers (backs). The tracking device in imbedded in the padding in each vest. The closures on each strap have to be opened by hand and cannot be opened by any object hitting it. The closures are pinch-lock closures and must be squeezed in to release and open. “TO-Gather” is different from anything on market to locate “lost” people because it is the first invention to connect people together and should they become separated have tracking devices to locate them individually using a mother board similar to “OnStar” locators.

Claims

1. I, Tonita Osei-Rosa, being the sole inventor of “TO-Gather” claim that the host vest along with the connecting vest carriers, the tracking devices, the helmets, and the “mother board” are subject matter of this invention. I request that patent be granted protecting the entirety of this claim.
