My bakery box

A uniquely designed “My Bakery Box” container that can be made from a variety of materials including corrugated plastics, plastic, or cardboard with an internal component made of a variety of different materials to include plastics and foams. The insert that holds a plate on which the baked goods sit, eliminates the baked goods from touching the outside of the container. A Significant benefits to the consumer includes being able reach under the baked goods to lift the baked goods out securely with their hands under the plate and not touch the actual baked goods. Another feature is that an ice pack can be placed under the insert to eliminate melting and spoilage. “My Bakery Box” outer box consists of three pieces. The outer box consists of two foldable pieces and a cap lid. The entire unit consists of five pieces that can be folded and stored within the lid.

Description

My Bakery Box is composed of five pieces. An outer, foldable, two piece box made of food safe material, one cap lid which fits snugly over the set-up box, two pieces which together form an insert which holds the baked goods can sit, keeping them still and preventing them from touching the outside of the box and a center plate to hold the baked goods. The insert has holes strategically placed to allow the consumer to reach under the baked goods and lift them out safely. When not in use, the entire apparatus can be folded and stored within the lid.

Claims

1) A box apparatus containing the following elements:

a) Two rectangular bottom components, with a rectangular side component attached to each side of the bottom component;
b) Fasteners on one side of each side of component, which attach said component to a neighboring side component when the side components are raised to be orthogonal to the bottom component;
c) A rectangular lid, with a lip around the perimeter of the lid, which fits snugly on the box apparatus when set up;
d) An insert, composed of two triangular pieces which fit together, which sits on the bottom of the box with open space between the top of the insert and the bottom of the box; the pieces have a circular cut out in the middle between them, with a lip on which a plate can sit; the circle is cut twice, one in the center of each triangular piece, such that hands can access the underside of the place and can be removed.
