ROTATING DIAPER CHANGING SIDE FRAME OF BABY PLAY YARD
A rotating diaper changing side frame of baby play yards is revealed. The rotating diaper changing side frame includes a frame rod and two corresponding locking parts respectively disposed with a pivot part for pivoted to and fixed on the frame rod. By the two corresponding locking parts quickly mounted with and fixed on an upper frame rod of a play yard, the diaper changing side frame is installed. While not in use, the diaper changing side frame is rotated and turned to another direction by the pivot part to be received. The design is space-saving.
1. Field of the Invention
The present invention relates to a diaper changing side frame, especially to a rotating diaper changing side frame of baby play yards that is disassembled quickly and having compact design.
2. Description of Related Art
Generally, a play yard with a limited area to confine babies therein has an enclosure of a certain height to prevent babies from climbing out of the play yard. When parents or baby sitters want to change diapers or feed babies, they usually need to take babies out of the play yard for feeding and other treatments. This is not convenient for users.
Thus some baby play yards are added with a diaper changing frame so that users can change diapers and feed babies by the arrangement of the diaper changing frame. Refer to Taiwanese Pat. Pub. No. 415197, each of two sides of a diaper changing frame is disposed with a positioning block. The position of each positioning block is corresponding to three adjacent poles of a play yard. A locking slot is formed on the bottom of each positioning block and is used to mount on a pole of an upper frame of the play yard. Thus the diaper changing frame is set over the upper frame of the play yard and the length of the diaper changing frame is not limited by the width of the play yard.
The above diaper changing frame is positioned by the positioning block mounted into the upper frame. The diaper changing frame is usually placed on somewhere near the play yard while not in use. However, in practice, the above design has following shortcomings.
- 1. If the disassembled diaper changing frame is placed randomly, users may not get the diaper changing frame immediately when they are in need.
- 2. While being assembled, the plurality of positioning blocks should be aligned with and mounted in the upper frame. The assembly and disassembly are not easy and convenient.
- 3. The disassembled diaper changing frame occupies a certain space of the baby's room.
Thus there is room for improvement and a need to a diaper changing side frame of baby play yards that overcomes the above shortcomings.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTIONTherefore it is a primary object of the present invention to provide a rotating diaper changing side frame of baby play yards having locking parts and pivot parts for quick release and space saving.
In order to achieve the above object, a rotating diaper changing side frame of baby play yards of the present invention includes a frame rod and two corresponding locking parts respectively arranged with a pivot part for pivoted to and fixed on the frame rod thereof. Thereby the two corresponding locking parts are quickly mounted and fixed on an upper frame rod of a play yard. While not in use, the diaper changing side frame is rotated and turned to another direction by the pivot part to be folded and received. The space for storage is saved.
Moreover, a push and stop part is disposed on an inner side of each locking part. The push and stop part is used for quick and easy assembly and disassembly.
The structure and the technical means adopted by the present invention to achieve the above and other objects can be best understood by referring to the following detailed description of the preferred embodiments and the accompanying drawings, wherein:

Furthermore, when parents or caregivers intend to disassemble the whole diaper changing side frame 1, they only need to remove the locking parts 12 from the upper frame rod 21 of the play yard 2. For smooth and easy engagement/disengagement, the push and stop part 122 is disposed on the inner side of each locking part 12.
Compared with the structure available now, the present invention has following advantages:
- 1. The rotating diaper changing side frame of the baby yards of the present invention are assembled and disassembled conveniently by means of the easy mounting and quick release locking parts.
- 2. Due to the rotating design, the diaper changing side frame is pivoted and rotated over the upper frame rod of the play yard while in use. After use, the diaper changing side frame is rotated and attached to the lateral side of the play yard so as to save storage space.
Additional advantages and modifications will readily occur to those skilled in the art. Therefore, the invention in its broader aspects is not limited to the specific details, and representative devices shown and described herein. Accordingly, various modifications may be made without departing from the spirit or scope of the general inventive concept as defined by the appended claims and their equivalent.
Claims
