Crank & roll
“Crank and Roll” a 5 in 1 mop is disclosed. The “Crank and Roll” can accomplish all five (5) tasks independently of the need for buckets and wringers or wax and duster applications.
Problem Solved: House cleaning requires multiple cleaning tools for different cleaning tasks, which also require additional storage space
They are usually single task purpose tools or require secondary or tertiary additional assist products, such as buckets and wringers, etc.
The “Crank and Roll” can accomplish all five (5) tasks independently of the need for buckets and wringers or wax and duster applications.
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTIONAs stated above, House cleaning requires multiple cleaning tools for different cleaning tasks, which also require additional storage space The invention claimed here solves this problem.
The “Crank and Roll” a 5 in 1 mop, can clean or do 1. floors 2. walls 3. windows 4. dusting 5. waxing and doesn't require additional storage space for buckets, pails, wringers or any other additional cleaning instruments. Saves storage space.
The claimed invention differs from what currently exists. It can accomplish 5 different cleaning tasks with this one tool at hand.
This invention is an improvement on what currently exists. It can accomplish 5 different cleaning tasks with this one tool at hand.
They cannot accomplish all five cleaning tasks, by use of a singular tool such as the “Crank and Roll”
The “Crank and Roll” can accomplish all five (5) tasks independently of the need for buckets and wringers or wax and duster applications.
Also, it can produce A mop for mopping. A duster for dusting. A wall cleaner for cleaning walls. A window cleaner for cleaning windows. A waxing device for floor waxing. A rinsing tool for rinsing or sanitizing. A deodorizer for floor or wall application.
The Version of the Invention Discussed Here Includes:1. Mop stick with attached upper crankable barrel type roller and lower, floor level crankable roller(s) and a attached spray dispenser holder plus a protruding nub for squeegee attachment
2. The cleaning belt that slips onto the
3. The spray dispenser container
4. The squeegee
Relationship between the Components:
1. the mop stick with rollers that crank have the 2. cleaning belt slipped over them and the 3. spray dispenser is placed into its housing with appropriate solution and 4. the squeegee is affixed any suitable use
How the Invention Works:The “stick” provides the leverage, and attached to the stick are the crank rollers, that crank and roll the cleaning belt surface, from the top crank roller to the bottom floor roller(s); continually providing a clean belt bottom roller surface; when the top crank roller is cranked. When the cleaning belt is slipped onto the cranking rollers, it's ready to clean the area in need of cleaning or rinsing, or waxing, or dusting; by spraying from the affixed spray dispenser, the appropriate cleaning or rinsing solution, to be utilized for the cleaning task at hand. The squeegee is utilized for squeegee tasks.
How to Make the Invention:Attach to a cleaning stick, a upper crank barrel roller aligned with lower level, crank barrel floor roller(s) which enables the aligned upper and lower rollers to accept a slip on (over the rollers) cleaning belt, with a crank knob attached to the upper barrel crank roller, that feeds a clean belt surface to the bottom floor roller(s) when the upper roller is cranked into a new position, in order to move the cleaning belt into a new floor or bottom level position for cleaning, rinsing, waxing, or dusting. At the sticks upper end is a attached spray dispenser holder. At the sticks lower level is a nub for squeegee affixing, opposite the barrel roll side; with the upper stick handle also being able to accept the squeegee, for additional reaching, if needed.
The cleaning stick, the rollers, the spray dispenser holder, the squeegee nub and squeegee and the cleaning belt are all necessary. A power feed belt roller instead of a physical crank to roll belt feed.
How to Use the Invention:A person would only have to keep, use and store one item, instead of the many others that are necessary to complete different cleaning tasks. Less storage space, less clutter.
Also, it can create: A mop for mopping. A duster for dusting. A wall cleaner for cleaning walls. A window cleaner for cleaning windows. A waxing device for floor waxing. A rinsing tool for rinsing or sanitizing. A deodorizer for floor or wall application.
