Toy Bracelet Unit With Detachable Wristband And Interchangeable Key

A toy bracelet unit with chambers and detachable wristband that the user can personalize and interact with a interchangeable key. The chambers can be opened one at a time or multiple chambers can be opened at once, based upon the arrangement of the corresponding notches on the interchangeable key. Each chamber can be personalized by said user, which can be revealed upon opening the chambers, once interaction of the interchangeable key to the toy bracelet unit is committed by said user.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

The present invention relates to toys, and more particularly toy charms, to be worn by a child. In the case of children's bracelets, however, it is difficult to play with and have the ability to use them as a storage device with the ability to access them.

The prior art contains other toy products that include a wrist-encircling bracelet or band, so that the toy could be worn on the wrist. Such constructions are shown in U.S. Pat. No. 4,581,904 to Lehmann, U.S. Pat. No. 4,936,699 to Yoshida, U.S. Pat. No. 5,115,646 to Bishop. These patents, however, do not provide storage chambers. Neither are the described structures adapted to have the function to access the chambers with a key.

It is an object to provide of the present invention to not only be worn on the wrist, but which also comprises features to reveal hidden tabs with a interchangeable key.

BRIEF SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

The objective of the invention is to provide a toy bracelet unit to be worn on the wrist with distinction. The toy bracelet unit comprises detachable wristbands that can be interchanged by said user. The said user can personalize the toy bracelet unit within the chambers contained within it. The said user can also detach the wristbands and reattach different variations of wristbands made available for the unit. The present invention provides various ways of personalization for said user to have a distinct appearance when worn. The ornamental main body of the toy bracelet unit, which is not limited to a single embodiment is made detachable from the base.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE SEVERAL VIEWS OF THE DRAWING

The invention is best illustrated by the accompanying drawings.

FIG. 1 is a top elevation view of the toy bracelet unit. Comprising of a detachable wristband 14(a) 14(b), chambers 2, 4, 6 and 8, the interchangeable key holder 12 and the interchangeable key entrance 10 for the interchangeable key.

FIG. 2 is a perspective view of the interchangeable key, comprising of hidden notches 26, 28, 30 and 32, behind panels 18, 20, 22 and 24 with the first notch 26 revealed.

FIG. 3 is a perspective view of the toy bracelet unit combined with the interchangeable key as the notch 26 opens the corresponding chamber 2 and reveals the inside tab within the tab holder 36.

FIG. 4 is a perspective view of an interchangeable key in its initial configuration. Panels 18, 20, 22 and 24 conceal the notches.

FIG. 5 is a perspective view of the interchangeable key as the panel 18 is pulled open in preparation to reveal the hidden notch 26.

FIG. 6 is a perspective view of the interchangeable key as the pulled panel 18 is shifted across in preparation to reveal the hidden notch 26.

FIG. 7 is a perspective view of the interchangeable key as all of the notches 26, 28, 30 and 32 are revealed.

FIG. 11 is a transparent view of the toy bracelet unit as the interchangeable key sits in the shaft of the interchangeable key entrance 10 in preparation to commit Interaction of corresponding notch 26 to chamber 2. The interaction of corresponding notch 26 to chamber 2 will reveal the chamber's personalized tab contained in the tab holder 36, which is illustrated in FIG 3.

FIG. 12 is a transparent view of the toy bracelet unit as the interchangeable key is being prepared to be stored in the interchangeable key holder 12.

FIG. 13 is a transparent view of the toy bracelet unit as the interchangeable key is being stored in the interchangeable key holder 12.

FIG. 14 shows the ornamental main body of the present embodiment of the toy bracelet unit being detached from the base.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

All examples given are for clarification only, and are not intended to limit the scope of the invention.

FIG. 1 shows a top elevation view of one embodiment of the present invention and FIG. 2 is one embodiment of the interchangeable key. Even though the drawing shows a heart-shaped exterior and square-shaped chambers in the case of the toy bracelet unit and rectangular-shape in the case of the interchangeable key, the invention may be shaped differently, with triangle-shaped chambers and/or shaped into footballs, baseballs, soccer balls for example. The present invention may be made out of different materials such as metals, woods, plastics, composites, glass, resin for example. The toy bracelet unit comprises of at least one chamber, preferably at least 4, more preferably approximately 20 chambers with a interchangeable key containing corresponding notches to each chamber. All chambers contain an individual tab holder 36 which can store an individual tab that can be personalized by said user. FIG. 1 referring to chambers 2, 4, 6 and 8, remain closed until FIG. 2 the interchangeable key is put into the key entrance 12 by said user with the corresponding notch(s) 26, 28, 30 and 32 to reveal each chamber's individual tabs located inside their individual tab holders 36.

FIG. 3 is a perspective view of the toy bracelet unit being interacted with the interchangeable key. While in the interchangeable key entrance 10, the interchangeable key, which has the notch 26 exposed is turned to interact with the corresponding chamber 2. The tab contained in the tab holder 36 is revealed to show the user's various personalization's, which are not limited in scope. In this example the use of a tab can refer to plural. Each comprised tab per chamber can be personalized by said user in many ways by including names, colors, recorded sounds, illuminations and other unique ways for example. In this view of the present embodiment of the invention, it is the most common state at which it will look once worn on the wrist of said user.

FIG. 4 shows the initial configuration view of the present embodiment of the interchangeable key. This configuration has the position of the panels 18, 20, 22 and 24 as they conceal the corresponding notches 26, 28, 30 and 32 to the chambers 2, 4, 6 and 8 located on the toy bracelet unit. The initial configuration is the preferred configuration for storage in the interchangeable key holder 12.

FIG. 5 shows a schematic view as the panel 18 is pulled open and shifted across in preparation to reveal the notch 26. This schematic view and method of panel 18 can be referred to panels 20, 22 and 24 as this schematic view and method of notch 26 can be referred to notches 28, 30 and 32.

FIG. 6 shows the schematic view of the panel 18 is pushed inward towards the back of the interchangeable key, which forces out the initially concealed notch 26. This schematic view and method of panel 18 can be referred to panels 20, 22 and 24 as this schematic view and method of notch 26 can be referred to notches 28, 30 and 32.

FIG. 7 shows the configuration of the interchangeable key as all of the notches 26, 28, 30 and 32 are revealed in preparation to interact with the corresponding chambers 2, 4, 6 and 8 on the toy bracelet unit.

FIG. 8 is the right side view of the preferred embodiment of the present invention. This is the side of the toy bracelet unit preferably where the interchangeable key entrance 10 and interchangeable key holder 12 are located. The right side of this preferred embodiment is where all the interactions in the interchangeable key entrance 10 and the storage of the interchangeable key in the interchangeable key holder 12 should be committed.

FIG. 9 is the left side of the preferred embodiment of the present invention. This side could have the inclusion of the interchangeable key entrance 10 and the interchangeable key holder 12, but for this preferred embodiment is only placed on the right side.

FIG. 10 illustrates the positioning of the interchangeable key in preparation towards the destination point into the interchangeable key entrance 10, which is just above the interchangeable key holder 12 on this present embodiment of the invention.

FIG. 11 illustrates the actual position of the interchangeable key within the toy bracelet unit, which will enable the user to commit interaction towards revealing the user's personalized tab within the tab holder 36.

FIG. 12 illustrates the positioning of the interchangeable key in preparation towards the destination point into the interchangeable key holder 12, which is just below the interchangeable key entrance 10 on this present embodiment of the invention.

FIG. 13 illustrates the actual position of the interchangeable key stored within the toy bracelet unit. This is preferably where the interchangeable key should be stored when not in use by said user.

FIG. 14 illustrates the detachability of the ornamental main body of the preferred embodiment of the present invention. This particular method will allow the ability for the user to personalize the ornamental main body of the unit with a unique compatible wristband of said user's choice.

Claims

1. A toy bracelet unit, comprising

(a) a main ornamental body which contains a plurality of chambers,
(b) a interchangeable key with corresponding notches to the chambers of the main ornamental body,
(c) said chambers contain tab holders, which can store tabs personalized by a user,
(d) said chambers can be opened to reveal the hidden personalized tabs once interaction of the interchangeable key with corresponding notches are interacted with the said chambers within the main ornamental body of the bracelet.

2. A toy bracelet unit as defined in claim 1, wherein the main ornamental body contain a plurality of chambers to access an interchangeable key with corresponding notches to interact with to open the chambers.

3. A toy bracelet unit, comprising

(a) a main ornamental body detachable from the base,
(b) a plurality of chambers with the means to store tabs,
(c) a interchangeable key to interact within the main body of the ornamental unit to open the corresponding chambers.
(d) detent means associated with spring action means of each closed chamber to be selectively open when interaction with a interchangeable key within the ornamental main body to reveal the hidden tabs of the bracelet unit.
