MODULAR ARTICULATE SUPPORT

Manufactured as from cardboard panels, or similar, in which are performed folds and grooves, and through which such panels may be conformed and united among them, for configuration of a polygonal module, in which it will be helped by means of the use of connection parts, besides a cover, which will serve as support surface for the products in exhibition, and all these component parts will interact among them, granting, to the final product obtained, the stability and the mechanic resistance necessary for the performance of its functions, notably in a sense to enable the exposition of the most varied types of products and, in special, those ones that are presented with a higher nominal weight.

APPLICATION FIELD

The present invention refers to a MODULAR ARTICULATE SUPPORT, which will be used in the exposition of products in general, propitiating, as from a constructive arrangement that involves a reduced number of parts, the necessary mechanic resistance to support high compression loads, resulting from the weight of the products in exposition.

SUMMARY OF INVENTION

This MODULAR ARTICULATE SUPPORT is manufactured as from cardboard panels, or similar, in which are performed folds and grooves, and through which such panels may be conformed and united among them, for configuration of a polygonal module, in which it will be helped by means of the use of connection parts, besides a cover, which will serve as support surface for the products in exhibition, and all these component parts will interact among them, granting, to the final product obtained, the stability and the mechanic resistance necessary for the performance of its functions, notably in a sense to enable the exposition of the most varied types of products and, in special, those ones that are presented with a higher nominal weight.

TECHNIQUE BACKGROUND

As it is known by those ones who are experts in this technique, it is common, in commerce in general, the use of expositors for the most varied types of products and applications, including, among them, the expositors of the display case type, which usually present as main restrictive factor the nominal weight of the products to be exposed; this way, in the most simple building expositors, the capacity to support weight is relatively limited, while in the expositors capable of supporting more weight, their constructions are more complex.

FUNDAMENTS OF INVENTION

With the purpose of overcoming all inconvenient resulting from the current techniques, this MODULAR ARTICULATE SUPPORT was idealized, which will allow the simple and fast assembling of a sustentation structure, for the exposition of the most varied types of products.

This MODULAR ARTICULATE SUPPORT will also allow that its assembling may be obtained as from the employment of reduced components parts.

This MODULAR ARTICULATE SUPPORT may also be articulate in relation to its component parts, in a way to propitiate its closure, facilitating its storage, when not in use.

This MODULAR ARTICULATE SUPPORT also has, as main objective, to allow that, once the support is assembled, its component parts interact among them, in a way to neutralize the efforts generated by the weight of the products in exposition, widening, therefore, the mechanic resistance of the exhibitor and, therefore, the practical application of the development proposed herein.

PREFERRED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

In compliance with the illustration of picture 1, this MODULAR ARTICULATE SUPPORT is basically comprised by a panel (1), configured as from a central area (2), which has, in one of its sides, a superior cut (3), and such area is also central (2), united through a crease (4), to a narrow upper frieze (5), with lower longitudinal extension, centrally disposed in relation to such central area (2), which, in turn, is united through a crease (6), to a first upper flap (7), which, in turn, is united, through a crease (8), to a second upper flap (9), in whose central region there are tears (10), aligned among them and disposed in parallel, next to such crest (8), also having, next to the side extremities of such second upper flap (9), straight grooves (11), aligned among them, and intercalated in relation to the upper and bottom borders of such second upper flap (9) and inclined, in opposite directions from one another, defining triangular laterals (12), and such central area (2)also united through crests (13), to a bottom reinforcement flap (14).

The conformation of such modular articulated support is obtained, pursuant to drawings 2 to 6, by the union of the panels (1), as from the orthogonal positioning of the strip formed in an inferior way to such upper cut (3), in relation to such central area (2), and such strips is fixed on the straight side of the contiguous panel (1), to form the body of the modular support, and such upper crest (5) being, afterwards, orthogonally positioned, through such crest (4), in relation to such central area (2), and such first upper flap (7) is, then, repelled, through such crest (6) on such central area (2), and, afterwards,

such second upper flap (9) is positioned, through such crest (8), orthogonally in relation to the first upper flap (7) and to such central region (2), and the segments formed between each pair of such straight grooves (11) are, afterwards, positioned, orthogonally and in an inferior way, in relation to the internal flaps formed as the result of the orthogonal positioning of such second upper flaps (9),

being, then, The pairs of such segments, united among them by means of an elastic cord (15), applied in the pairs of such straight grooves (11) of the contiguous panels (1), and the external borders of the pairs of such triangular sides (12) of such contiguous second upper flaps (9), supported, facing the vertex formed by such contiguous panels (1), and such bottom reinforcement flaps (14) are positioned, through such crests (13), orthogonally and in an internal way, in relation to such central areas (2),

and tyrants will also be designed (16), configured by a rectilinear segment, substantially trapezoidal, in whose tilted sides there will have straight grooves (17), aligned among them, and interconnected in relation to the upper and bottom borders of such tyrant (16), and inclined, in an opposite way to one another, defining rectangular sides (18), and such tyrants (16) connect such internal flaps of such panels (1), formed as from the orthogonal positioning of such second upper flaps (9), and they will be installed in them, as from the flexion of the extremities of such rectangular sides (18),

in a way that in them, such tears (10) may pass over, in such upper flaps (9), and, as from such passing over, they will return to their linear position, being, this way, retained through a fitting of such straight grooves (17) on the borders of such tears (10), and, in the internal flaps of such panels (1), formed as from the orthogonal positioning of such second upper flaps (9), the cover (19) will be installed, fixed with a precise adjustment, in a way to establish an intimate contact with such first upper flaps (7).

The modular articulate support, obtained this way, when in use, will be subject, as the result of the nominal weight performed by the products being exposed, to efforts that perpendicularly spread in relation to the support cover, which tends to be transmitted to the internal flaps of such panels (1), formed as from the orthogonal positioning of such second upper flaps (9),

and they were prevented of flexing in view of the action of the upper borders of such triangular extremities (12) of such second upper flaps (9), against the confluence formed by the sides of such contiguous panels (1), whose area has an increased mechanic resistance, in relation to the other areas if such panels, in view of the superposition, in this area, of the side of such panel, by the strip formed below such upper tear (3),

and which will tend to intensify more the contact between the internal walls of such panels and the borders of such cover; therefore, the joint effect of the maintenance of the horizontal positioning of such cover, propitiated by such internal flaps of such panels (1) formed as from the orthogonal positioning of such second upper flaps (9) in relation to such central areas (2) of such panels (1), related to the horizontal force produced by the intimate contact of the internal walls of such panels (1), formed as from the rebate of such first upper flaps (7) in relation to such central areas (2) of such panels (1), and it will grant to the modular support a significant addition of resistance to the compression, allowing that it may support higher loads than those ones that it would be usually supported by the material employed in its manufacturing.

Claims

1. MODULAR ARTICULATE SUPPORT characterized by the fact it is basically comprised by a panel (1), configured as from a central area (2), which has, in one of its sides, a superior cut (3), and such area is also central (2), united through a crease (4), to a narrow upper frieze (5), with lower longitudinal extension, centrally disposed in relation to such central area (2), which, in turn, is united through a crease (6), to a first upper flap (7), which, in turn, is united, through a crease (8), to a second upper flap (9), in whose central region there are tears (10), aligned among them and disposed in parallel, next to such crest (8), also having, next to the side extremities of such second upper flap (9), straight grooves (11), aligned among them, and intercalated in relation to the upper and bottom borders of such second upper flap (9) and inclined, in opposite directions from one another, defining triangular laterals (12), and such central area (2) also united through crests (13), to a bottom reinforcement flap (14).

2. MODULAR ARTICULATE SUPPORT, pursuant to claim 1, characterized by the fact it is conformed as from the orthogonal positioning of the strip formed below such upper tear (3), in relation to such central area (2), and such strip is fixed on the straight side of the contiguous panel (1), being,

afterwards, such upper frieze (5) orthogonally positioned, through such crest (4), in relation to such central area (2), being then, rebated, through such crest (6), such first upper flap (7) on such central area (2) and, afterwards, such second upper flap (9) is positioned, through such crest (8), orthogonally in relation to such first upper flap (7) and to such central region (2), being, afterwards, the segments formed between each pair of such straight grooves (11), positioned, orthogonally and inferiorly, in relation to the internal flaps formed as the result of the orthogonal positioning of such second upper flaps (9),
being, then, the pairs of such segments, united among them by means of an elastic cord (15), applied in the pairs of such straight grooves (11) of the contiguous panels (1), and the external borders of the pairs of such triangular sides (12) of such contiguous second upper flaps (9), supported, facing the vertex formed by such contiguous panels (1), and such bottom reinforcement flaps (14) are positioned, through such crests (13), orthogonally and in an internal way, in relation to such central areas (2).

3. MODULAR ARTICULATE SUPPORT, pursuant to claim 1, characterized by the fact that tyrants (16) are foreseen, configured by a rectilinear segment, substantially trapezoidal, in whose tilted sides are foreseen straight grooves (17), aligned among them, and interconnected in relation to the upper and lower borders of such tyrant (16),

and inclined, in an opposite position in relation to one another, defining rectangular sides (18), and such tyrants (16) perform the connection between such internal flaps of such panels (1), formed as from the orthogonal positioning of such second upper flaps (9), and on them, they will be installed, as from the flexion of the extremities of such rectangular sides (18),
in a way that in them, such tears (10) may pass over, in such upper flaps (9), and, as from such passing over, they will return to their linear position, being, this way, retained through a fitting of such straight grooves (17) on the borders of such tears (10), and, in the internal flaps of such panels (1), formed as from the orthogonal positioning of such second upper flaps (9), the cover (19) will be installed, fixed with a precise adjustment, in a way to establish an intimate contact with such first upper flaps (7).

4. MODULAR ARTICULATE SUPPORT, pursuant to claim 1, characterized by the fact of the internal flaps of such panels (1), formed as from the orthogonal positioning of such second upper flaps (9), being prevented of flexing, in view of the action of the upper borders of such triangular extremities (12) of such second upper flaps (9) against the confluence formed by the sides of such contiguous panels (1), where the mechanic resistance is increased in view of the superposition, in this area, of the side of such panel through the string formed below such upper cut (3), and which intensifies the contact between the internal walls of such panels and the borders of such cover.

MODULAR ARTICULATE SUPPORT, pursuant to claim 1, characterized by the fact of propitiating the joint effect of maintenance of the horizontal positioning of such cover, propitiated by such internal flaps of such panels (1), formed as from the orthogonal positioning of such second upper flaps (9), in relation to such central areas (2) of such panels (1), related to the horizontal force produced by the intimate contact of the inner walls of such panels (1), formed as from the rebate of such first upper flaps (7), in relation to such central areas (2) of such panels (1), with a significant addition of resistance to the compression.
